I absolutely appreciate the staff here! On Wednesday last week I had an appointment to get my nails done. I explained to Kelly as she did my nails that I am looking for a new forever nail home, because my sweet nail girl of 9 years, is no longer gracing our beautiful world. sigh. Kelly worked and listened to me, filed, filled and fixed a few nails that, honestly I had really just let go to hell in my grief, I just couldn't get myself together to go anywhere. Kelly was so understanding and and made my first time visit a wonderful experience. I was so pleased that I actually made pedicure appointments for hubby and myself for this past Saturday. So, our Saturday appointment time came, or so I thought, because we were actually early by 1/2 hour, not sure how that happened and I apologized in case it caused issue, but I was assured it didn't. We really just relaxed and enjoyed the massage chairs and the pedicures. In fact hubby was so relaxed that half-way through his appointment, he was starting to doze and by the time it was done, he was snoring every so slightly LOL.. During winter I usually go with the basic polish pedicure since my feet are covered and not in slippers or sandals. Hubby really liked his pedicure, he has a nail that gets in-grown from his heavy track work boots, she was able to correct it with minimal pain, as there wasn't any yanking or tearing that usually comes with this fix. Happily satisfied are we that Todays Nails will be our new "Rest and Relaxation" place for our nail/pedi pampering. Thank you for welcoming us a new clients. read more

I'm giving 2 stars, but wish I could give more since I really do like the owner, and knew her from another salon. I learned quickly that the service is not friendly, and they'd prefer not to interact. No problem. I remained a customer on and off for about a year. Wendy, the young woman I went to, was rude and very curt. However, shes very talented, and can do any design you show her. For this reason, I kept coming, and dealt with her nasty behavior. I figured cute nails were worth it. No more! Especially since the problem worsened to the point where I could feel her hate for the job, and likely being so busy. (?) I could go on and on! In addition to her rude attitude, her station is not clean, which again, I overlooked because she is rough, but my nails always came out cute, and as expected. My recent (and last) visit solidified that it's not worth it to PAY, TIP, and get mistreated. It's pretty bad when your friends text you ahead of time to give you a heads up about her mood today/this week etc! There are plenty of nail places, time to move on! If you go, I hope you get her in a good mood, which is happening less and less. Also, do not come too early. I've heard her berate customers for this. Also, don't be late!!. If she runs late, which is understandable sometimes, there will be no apology and likely an extra bad mood because she's busy. read more

Absolutely avoid at all costs. Has a gel full appointment at 3:45 waiting until 4 to be seat that's fine it's a Saturday. Go to sit down station covered in acrylic dust. I had to wipe down the seat before I could sit down. Jamie did my nails and I can't say stay away enough. She cut of of my fingers and when she asked if it hurt I said yes and she continued. She needed up cutting three of my fingers on the same hand to where I was bleeding and had to get up and wash the cuts. She then changed the file and said that's why she was cutting me. She did a very messy job with the mail shaping. I should have left but let her finish and paid . Left and went next door to LVnails where they fixed my polish and shape without injuring my fingers any more. read more

I moved here recently from LA and hadn't found a nail salon to my liking and I have tried several! I decided to try Jamie at today's nails Bc of all her great reviews... I'm happy to say I LOVED HER!! She was SOOO nice, did my mani pedi so fast and with pinpoint accuracy... She even fixed a broken nail I had with a bit of gel. I have been getting my gel nail fills, gel pedicures and waxing done here for years - I actually followed Jamie (who owns this salon) from her former place of employment - she is that good. I have also had Kellie and Wendy do my nails and they are top notch as well. Wendy, btw, does excellent nail art. You can check out her designs on their Facebook website. In addition, I am very tough on my nails and still my gel polish lasts at least a month! This is a family run business, they take pride in their establishment, what they do and in their customers. I have found the perfect place to do my nails while I am in New Jersey. Jamie is great and easy to talk to. The price is fair also. I had an acrylic fill with gel polish for $30. Don't waste your time on anyone else if you are near this area. I drove 20 minutes to go here. Don't be confused with the shop next door. This one is the 2nd one after McDonalds. read more

I have lived in Howell for over 8 years but have had a hard time finding a nail salon that is not only clean but does a great job as well. As a result I usually go to a nail salon near my work (30 minutes away). I was pressed for time and randomly gave this place a shot. They were great!!! Very accomodating, did a great job and although I was in a rush (poor planning on my part) they managed to complete a gel fill and gel pedicure quickly and my nails turned out great. I love their color selection ( variety of colors I can't wait to try out). I will definitely be using them again. read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. Lin has done my nails over the years at a variety of place - I come back to her now and then, but always leave to go somewhere else. I like her and find her work satisfactory. I don't love the shop itself. At the moment, it's in a bit of disarray, and somewhat dirty/dusty. (Are they remodeling? I'm not sure.) I had a gel mani a few weeks ago - it was the sloppiest gel manicure ever. The polish was over my cuticles and looked dreadful. By the next morning, I was at another salon to have it removed and redone properly. The parking lot is awful. There's only a few spots in front, and 9 out of 10 times, the nail techs are parking in at least one of them. There are more spaces in back - but I don't really feel comfortable walking back there. It I were to sum it up - you get what you pay for. It's not the cheapest, but it's not the priciest. I am more likely to go back for a pedicure and have my gel manicure done elsewhere. read more

I'm super wary about trying new salons and nail places so with that in mind I went here a bit apprehensive. To my surprise though this place is a very welcoming and relaxed open atmosphere, I did a walk in and maybe had to wait five minutes of that. The girl who took me (I unfortunately didn't catch her name) was very meticulous and I can say I've never had my nails look this nice ever!
