Went here with my amazing boyfriend who hadn't been here since he was a kid. They had turned into a small carry out type place instead of a dine in atmosphere. The front desk cashier seemed annoyed with our questions and ordering. But the pizza was delicious. We had half super combo that had everything and the other half was meat and jalapeños. Placed an order for delivery and delivered the wrong pizza to the house. Toppings could have killed my aunt and uncle because we specifically asked for no peppers and they send us a damn veggie pizza. (Not even close to what we ordered) I called the guy back and swore up and down we could have it replaced but I have to call back 2 hours later when the manager shows up. When I called they made a huge deal about it and didn't even want to make me a new one. I still love the taco pizza here. This is the only Godfathers left in all of San Diego County. They had been going downhill in their traditional restaurants. This is a mini strip mall location. I ordered the special 1 large pizza, lasagna, breadsticks and soda. They forgot to put the pepperoni on the pizza (FAIL!!!). The bacon they did put on tasted like chicken bone that was sitting in cardboard for a while. The lasagna was edible, and the bread sticks were pretty good. The best part of the meal was the soda. I used to eat at Godfather's Pizza 10 years ago when it was in Santee and a sit down restaurant with excellent pizza. After the Santee one closed, I did not think we had any left nearby. This was NOT good. It was an express and the food was awful. Not the Godfathers I remember. read more

My new go to pizza place. Fresh ingredient, sooooo cheesy, not stingy with the meat, and it doesn't taste like cardboard the next day. And because they are 5 minutes from me, I always get my pizza fast and I never have to wait long for delivery. They always send coupons in the mail for family deals, specialty pizzas, and simple coupons. If you're tired of Pizza Hut, little ceasars, domino's, give them a try. On Oct. 1st we ordered our same pizza the cost 24.00 and change for delivery. On this evening we were charge 29.00 I asked the driver why, he could not give me an answer i asked him to call his boss i would like to speak . He did not speak with me or return my call. The driver told me the next pizza would be 15.00 dollars. This is not the way to do business adding on extra money and see if the customer catches it. This is the best pizza within a mile for us, we only go to Godfathers, when we don't want to leave our Spring Valley. When you walk in, it smells like a bakery bc their pizza dough is so delicious! Been going here for the last 7 years, and I probably went when I was little too since, coincidentally I lived less than a mile away from it then too. Their calzones are excellent too! If you are thinking of going to Little Ceasers in the same plaza, LOL DON'T! Go to Godfathers instead, yes, the large pizza will be like maybe another $3 more, but if you are able, do Godfathers instead :) oh, and bonus!.... My son just had his 5th TNMT BDAY Party and aside from getting the pizza from here to feed the guests, I also went in a couple weeks before his party and asked the owner (who is always so nice!) if I can buy the personal size pizza boxes (qty 20) to use as the treat bags for the kids (these lil pizza boxes are the cutest with windows in the top!!!) He sold them to me for a sweet deal and the lil "prize boxes" came out super great after I put all the special goodies in them! P.S. My friend is from Nebraska and she told me that is where Godfathers started and that this SV, CA Godfathers is the only on left in CA, less than a mile from me, YAY :) read more

i bought a $5.00 pepperoni pizza.. i am not kidding when i say each slice only had 1 pepperoni on them.. the pizza did not have enough cheese nor tomatoe sauce.. it was just bad all around.. all their pizzas are small compare to other places and much more expensive.. it is abvious they are greedy about their profit and stuck up with their condiments, napkins and plates.. i will go buy another just to post some pictures of what i mean.. go spend your money elsewhere.. this place does not deserve your business! go to little caesars instead.. they will take care of you better!! read more

Best pizza in east county without a doubt. Fresh, tasty toppings, generously applied. A bit pricey, but worth it, and they do have a low cost pie that shames Little Ceasars. A variety of menu items, the lasagna is the bomb. Fresh, delicious salads and sandwiches, and chicken pizzas to die for, especially the chicken, bacon, ranch. Owner and staff are so nice, delivery prompt and right now I am waiting for them to open so my craving can be tamed. Love, love love this place. Try it. read more

Where do I start. My son wanted to go there for some reason, go figure. Anyways, we go there I ask the clerk if they had a personal pizza; he looked at me like if I came from Mars. He said they have the mini pizzaz. We ordered three small pizzas and a salad, $55.00, yeah, $$$55.00. My husband who is the biggest passive aggressive person on earth asked again if he was correct, and yes, it was $55.00. He paid , though I wanted to say something or go over the order. Oh well we sat down and waited, and waited for about 30 minutes. Finally the dude comes and throws everything on the small narrow table. You would think they would give you the salad first, then they would give you the main entree, NOOOO. Everything thrown at once. The dressing looked like it was 6 weeks old. The taste of the pizza is very subpar. Thick, doughy , limp crust. The pizza has a sweet taste to it, though it didnt have no pineapple nor nothing like that. A thin layer of cheese. Place is poor looking, depressing. Seating arrangement not comfortable, and the tables are very narrow. Never, never, never again. Next week I will take my son to Bronx Pizza, much cheaper and the pizza is bomb there. Dont waste your money here. read more

Good customer service! I wanted the sandwich lunch special, but wanted to skip the fries and get a salad on the side instead and the lady at counter helped me out, no extra charge. Very friendly, fast, and a good value! My sandwich was way better than anything Subway has and it cost less than the price of a footlong and a drink. read more
