Gave this place a visit since it's the successor to the Galena Brewing Company. We knew they'd be changing hands around our last visit there, and they've made some wonderful changes. Had the Apple, Cranberry, Pecan salad, the kids' brisket smash burger, and the brisket crunchwrap. I also had to use the beer cheese soup and pour it into the crunchwrap because, why not? They had plenty of great items to choose from, and I had to ask about their most popular items because I had a hard time choosing. Everyone loved what they got, and the food really did taste great. Pair it up with all the great beer they serve, and this place has definitely improved. We used to come to the Galena Brewing Company but felt it had gone downhill, unfortunately. This feels like what we were hoping for with new ownership and rejuvenated menus and staff. You're likely to run into times where you'll experience live music, loud volumes, and plenty of visitors, but our visit here was during a non-busy time since they just opened for the day. We appreciated the food quality and friendly staff. So happy that this place is so new and improved. We are looking forward to coming back to try more menu items!

Chedder wuerst with 1 cheese curd.

The Chedderwurst. So much for loaded with cheese curds. The first 2 bites had zero cheese. So I cut it down the middle to find 1 cheese curd. Very disappointing. Waitress needed retraining on the menu. She was nice though.

First time here. Quite good. Went with the burnt ends and sweet potato waffle fries. Had the Hinterland Helles to wash it all down. Clean restaurant, attentive staff. Give it a shot.

Pungent smell when you walk in. QR code ordering system doesn't work. Rude manager all add to a 'don't go' in my book.

I'm not a snob so I can do a nice place, a dive and anything in between which was how the weekend went. The bar was pretty busy for a Saturday night and I was going to do a fresh patty burger but pizza after pizza was going out the front door so I might rethink my burger. The place is your typical Wi small town bar and not a dive but old looking that is CASH ONLY with a full bar and restaurant. The menu is decent for a bar and they take the food seriously with fresh beef burgers and real pizzas. I had a couple beers and gin tonics which were ok and not top shelf. The place is pretty loud and it was hard having a conversation but it was the place to be. We ordered the 16'' Soprano pizza with sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, fresh mushrooms, onions, green peppers, green olives and black olives. First off they don't skimp on the toppings because they were plentiful and the pizza was really good with a nice saltyness from the green olives that worked so well. I doubt that they make the crust and I could be wrong but it very good because it was not thick or cracker thin but a nice in between that was like a fresh chewy crust from good fresh baked bread. It was weird to bump into the owner of the bar that we usually go to for drinks and pizza like we were cheating on him but it was all good but unexpected. Overall the pizza is good, the drinks are ok and the prices are very reasonable for a casual dinner and drinks and I see why they were packed and the lady's working the bar did an outstanding job keeping up with all the people.

As someone who is a vegetarian and has to eat gluten-free for medical reasons, my options were pretty limited. The first day I got the vegetarian omelette, which came with fruit and toast. I couldn't eat the toast, and the honeydew melon was off. I ate the omelette and the watermelon/cantaloupe. The next day I just got two fried eggs, and they were cooked as I requested. But I just couldn't get enough calories, as I chose to pass on the fruit. I did order orange juice to get more calories, and that was good. My husband and kid liked their meals, pretty basic breakfast fare of toast, eggs, bacon, and pancakes. The hostess and waiters did not wear masks. The bus staff did. We wore our masks, as only indoor seating was offered, but no other patrons wore masks. Our waitress Robbyn was lovely.

The menu was quite a bit more extensive than I expected with lots of offerings for any taste. I settled on the fried broccoli and cheese bites and a chicken parm sandwich. Both of them knocked it out of the park. More places need broccoli and cheese bites. These ROCKED. The chicken parm sandwich was basic in nature but is exactly what I wanted from it. The best part? The bits of burnt mozz really underneath the sandwich for an added crunch. The service was everything you could have asked for. Quick, friendly. You name it. Glad to have made the decision to stop here a few weeks ago, and would absolutely recommend to anybody in the area.

Napkins are paper-towels off the roll, when asked for additional napkins we were given a stack of cocktail napkins. Had to ask for silverware and the plastic glasses all smelled like bleach. Only one person appeared to be working both the bar and table area, service was a little bit on the slow side, but the gentleman was polite and accommodating. Cheese Curds were good, nothing spectacular and the quantity received was on the small side compared to what you might get at other establishments. They were out of tortillas so there were no wrap options. For a Saturday, not sure how they could run out already by lunch time. Sunday, dinner? Maybe??? I could understand, but going into a weekend? How is your kitchen not fully stocked? Main meals were hearty and good (burger & cheese stake), but again, nothing really special. All in all the food was nothing out of the ordinary and the place is just basic.
