I went in to see how much the clasp of my necklace would be. They took it and repaired it for me at no cost. Everyone was very nice.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME HERE. no place has got me this upset, disappointed, angry and just to the point of giving up. So, my boyfriend wanted to get me a ring for my birthday, really beautiful and thoughtful and simple. my birthstone (aquamarine) my name engraved in the middle and a diamond next to it. when i first got it it looked beautiful i was super happy with it.. but one week later the color on the "aquamarine" stone started turning green and fading! so we called and they said that i must of hit it somewhere.. i dont understand how a stone can fade and turn green after its been hit but whatever. we bring it to the place to replace the stone, they said its gonna take a week. so we wait and go back the next week. so what they did.. is .. instead of replacing the faded green stone they replaced my diamond with an aquamarine stone and kept the faded one their too! like im sorry but are u stpuid?? the diamond was perfectly fine. AND the color of the NEW aquamarine wasnt even blue! it was almost clear with the most tiiiny hint of blue. they were explaining how thats what aquamarine is, and yes i know but when they first gave me the stone it was a bit brighter than that where u could actually see the blue. (proved with pictures). so anyywayy gotta wait anotherrr week for that. while we had to wait anyway i asked how much would it be to get another name engraved on the inside and the guy said at this point i wont even charge u for it. but he said it will take another 2 weeks now cuz he has to send it out for the engraving. ok sure.. another 2 weeks go by. we go, the diamond it perfect, cant complain even put a setting inside for it so it doesn't fall off. the stone on the other hand is so dark now it doesn't look like aquamarine and its not even circular anymore! its this wierd shape with like 6 different uneven sides and looks bad. and guess what they forgot the engraving! so we sit their and MAKE SURE even drawing it out for them where the name should be.inside the ring right under my name (on the opposite side) .. so you guessed it, another 2 weeks go by. they said they will call us when its ready of course they never did.. so we go in to take the ring and .. the name is on the side of the ring??? inside, but on the side. i literally got so upset i just took it and left. honestly paying $400 for this ring was totally not worth it. i thank my boyfriend the thought and the ring is beautiful but these people need to get their shit together. should've spent $20 instead of $400. one of the times i was their , there was some other people because their birthstone fell off. just saying. dont waste your time. they overprice and do a discussing job. they dont care read more

Theyr the Worst place to deal with. They r crooks I ordered a picture pendant was not what I expected. They made a sticker & stuck it on the charm. Thinking u could shower with $400 pendant was not so. The entire sticker peeled off when it got wet. When I went to complain I was told oh no it's no suppose to get wet.R U kidding me it's gold never heard of this in my life. They took it back for what they said was to repair it they were suppose to have it ready in 2 days. It took over a month they never contacted me to update & also every time I called was told the boss is not in. I decided to just go to the store one day after being told he was not in only to find him there. They repaired it so they say with the same crappy sticker& still said don't get it wet. I had to fight for my pendant back & now it has been laying in a draw because even if u sweat it will peel. They r crooks. read more

I went into Goff because my watch needed a battery. This was a perfectly functioning watch except that it wasn't keeping time due to the need for a new battery. Upon picking up the watch, the hands for the chronograph were all screwed up and resetting the hands back to ZERO found the hand that counts minutes stuck on 4 and the hand that counts seconds overshooting the zero second mark out to 7 seconds. When I pointed this out to them, they answered: "You brought in a watch that needed a battery. We've given you the battery and the watch is working". But the problem is that while in their possession, the watch now has the above described problem, which it did not have when I left it with them. There was no reasoning, so I threw $40.00 on the counter to cover the work, walked out with the watch and a "Fuck you". I'll send it back to the manufacturer to have it repaired. Then I will be taking Goff to small claims court. They will be paying for the repairs on my watch which they broke. read more

BUYER BEWARE! UNPROFESSIONAL AND POOR QUALITY! The sales staff at this store are not only unprofessional they are dishonest and rude. I purchased an item from Tony (I believe this is Anthony, the staff member another yelper had issues with) who understood the gift was for a man. He showed me a catalog as there were no items in the store to match what I was looking for. The item was supposed to be personalized with an engraving for Christmas. We received a call the week of Christmas advising that the gift would not be ready because the engraver was very ill (however, when we picked up the item the story changed and we were told by another associate that the machine was broken). Clearly, someone wasn't being honest. It didn't end here though. After demanding that the company deliver on their promise to have this completed for xmas, they ensured us it would be completed. On Christmas Eve morning, I was told to pick up the item. Upon picking up the item, I cannot explain to you how truly disappointed I was. The pendant was feminine and far from being anything a man would wear. In addition, the engraving was not fully completed (letters were not fully engraved) and the diamond placement was subpar. It literally looked like someone hot glued diamonds onto a pendant. When I confronted (very professionally) the sales associate explaining that he should have told us he was concerned about the pendant we chose for a man (as we trusted his professional opinion on the size and thickness of the pendant), he very rudely stated that he didn't know if my fiancé was "a small man or an Asian" who might want a more feminine or small pendant. At the end of the day, I had to pay $350 for a pendant that is hideous and had no gift for my fiancé Christmas morning. The sales associate didn't care. He was rude, abrasive, and unapologetic. DO NOT TRUST THEIR "PROFESSIONAL" OPINON! The whole experience was a total disaster and I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. read more

I have gone to Goff Jewelers for any jewelry needs for several decades and have known each of the three generations of the owners, "Mr Goff." I have always been treated in a professional way and with courtesy by the staff. I have known Anthony, the manager, and Tom, the actual jeweler, and have always happy with our interactions and transactions and what they have done for me and my wife. Since we could not afford a big engagement ring when we got married we bought a nice diamond ring for our 25th anniversary. I can tell you that Steve had the patience of a saint while helping my wife make her selection and we really appreciated his knowledge and advice. She has enjoyed it tremendously for the last 21 years. Yesterday I went in with a problem. Before having hip surgery I had to remove a ring from my finger that had been there for 57 years. Due to arthritis of the knuckle I had a very difficult time getting it off. When I did, I saw that the ring was misshapen and very thin. I brought it in and Tom resized it so that it would just fit over the enlarged knuckle but not be too loose around the finger. It is round once again and thick both across and deep. He then polished it to such a high degree that my wife and I both agreed it was dazzling. He did this for a very fair price. While we were waiting the two current Mr. Goffs, Steve and Brian, helped us with some appraisals that we needed for a new homeowners insurance policy. They were also very informative about the ins and outs of claims in case we ever had one. Over the years they have also given us very fair, even generous, payments for old gold jewelry that we inherited and have sold to them. When Steve and Brian were not in, I have found Anthony to be very knowledgable, helpful, fair and actually fun to interact with. He has quite a sense of humor and has always made suggestions that I appreciated. There is good reason that they have been in business for three generations. Needed a battery replacement for my watch. Since I dive with it, I asked them to replace the case back gasket if necessary and pressure test it for at least 200 meters. The $75 dollar price Goff quoted was high but I agreed. After 3 weeks and not receiving the phone call I was told I would get when the watch was ready for pickup, I went back to the store. The watch was ready and the jeweler apologized that they had not made the promised phone call. I asked if they had to replaced the gasket and how much pressure they tested the watch to. The jeweler said 5 bars and that they don't replace gaskets. 5 bars means that the watch can get wet in the rain. Diving requires a minimum of 20 bars. $75 dollars is high for a battery change and 20 bar pressure testing but it is an absolute scam when they only tested it to 5 bars. read more

My wife and I went to Goff Jewelers to have my wedding band repaired and sized and to have some pieces of jewelry appraised. Steve Goff did the appraisals while Tom repaired my wedding band. Steve was very thorough in his explanation of what is involved when making an appraisal. And my wedding band, it hasn't looked this good in 45 years. We enjoy going to a small, independently owned jewelry store because the service is much more personal. We recommend Goff Jewelers because of their attention to detail. read more
