Plenty of K*BBQ spots much closer to home, so why drive an hour for it?! Because my girlfriends from junior high and I were due for a meet and they are worth the drive! (They picked the place, no complaints here, I would have driven further if need be.) We came through at opening hour so we were seated as soon as everyone in our party was present. They've been here before, so I let them pick everything. Salad was fresh, as with the banchan. And although the star of the show would be the endless amount of meat, the fried rice (even without protein) is what got me hooked! I shouldn't have bothered ordering a side of white rice. Their spicy ramen was a great palate cleanser as well. FOOD: 5. SERVICE: 3.5. Little interaction but above average. VALUE: 4. (Came out to about $50 and change including tax and tip.) PARKING: Shared lot with tons of spots. Not an issue. OVERALL: 4.25. The food was great, but what made the experience better was the company. We ended up chatting and foraging for a few hours, and staff didn't mind us overstaying our welcome. Nowhere near my area, but highly recommending!

    Too many options...

Have nothing but praise for this place. Customer service was top tier and meat quality and seasoning was fantastic. Went shortly after opening for lunch today (friday) and waiting was a non issue.

Gogi House Korean BBQ is honestly out of this world. The food quality, flavors, and overall experience are amazing, but the price is definitely on the higher side -- $45 for adults and $25 for small children -- so it feels more like a special-occasion spot rather than an everyday place. The only thing that disappointed me was having to ask for all the side dishes, unlike before when they were automatically brought out. That said, the food itself is delicious and memorable, making it worth the splurge once a year or for a special occasion.

I have been coming to Gogi house for over 13 years now living in Santa Clarita. When we first came here the place was a great spot for good food and something different compared to all the other locations. The price was 21.99 for lunch and 25.99 for dinner. Fast forward to today and not a single thing on the menu has changed except the price. Lunch is now 39.99 and dinner is 44.99. My son and I stopped in last week and ate dinner. $108 for the two of us. The food is decent, nothing to write home about but the price can no longer justify the meal. It has been the same menu options for over 12 years now. I happened to see the owner and mentioned to him the price has gotten outrageous for dinner. He said well everything has gone up! Well I guess so! Keeping the price reasonable should be one's top priority . You can go to Ruth Chris and get a steak dinner for 2 for nearly 150 total. The price has pushed me away. I can honestly say there are too many other options in the valley to return here. Thanks Gogi for the good ole days, but the time has come to move way past this over priced restaurant. Not worth it anymore.

We went here for lunch today. We ordered the brisket, apple pork, bulgogi, bum bam bop, lemon chicken. We also had the various salads as well as potstickers and mixed tempura. The meat dishes were excellent and the service was very good.

This was my first Korean BBQ dining experience. My Kids are regulars there so, it was nice to be greeted as such. Our server was Nancy. Her effervescent personality and attentiveness made our meal so enjoyable. All of our appetizers, entrees, sides, and sauces were delicious. And...each were very generous! We were even given a soft serve yogurt for dessert to cleanse our palate. We will definitely continue to patronize Gogi House.

I was happy to finally experience the hype. :) Upon coming in, I was impressed by the decor and layout. I especially liked the booth seating -- spacious, comfortable and semi-private. The place is clean and dimly lit. Our son was in charge of ordering, so he chose some of their favorites. We started with two orders of the marinated dumplings. For our mains, the Garlic SuYuk and BBQ Beef Ribs, plus additional bowls of rice for everyone. The banchan were set first -- the husband surprisingly enjoyed the mildly spicy fishcake the most. Our order followed just a few minutes after. The presentation of the Garlic SuYuk was so neat when it arrived bubbling hot. The tender pork slices simmering in the broth paired well with the garlic and red bean pastes. The Gal bi was very good, but those slightly spicy marinated dumplings were amazing! The entire meal was quite comforting with each flavorful bite changing with the banchan. It was a great first experience. I'm sure it won't be our last. Friendly service. I live near Koreatown in LA and this spot is like home away from home when I visit family!…read more It is located in a large mini mall so there is ample parking. Inside, it is roomy, modern minimalist design with a high ceiling. Each table has a grill in the middle with a vent above. Staff turns the grill on low to prevent overcooking. (and yes, you are cooking your own meat which is the fun part.) I normally order all-you-can-eat menu A. I prefer the non-marinated meats - beef brisket, thin pork belly, beef belly and beef sirloin and dipping it in the oil/salt/pepper and the soy jalapeno dip. It's flavorful and "clean" in taste. I do like the marinated meats like the beef bulgogi, garlic chicken and spicy pork. They are marinated perfectly. I just prefer tasting the meat on its own. As with all KBBQ spots, you are given an array of banchan that can range from kimchi, pickled everything (radish, cucumber, daikon), potato salad and tofu. You also get a personal size serving of rice. Staff is very helpful and friendly and they switch the grill after each rotation. I can barely finish three rounds of meat so paying around $40 is well worth the price. This is place is great for hanging out with friends, a casual date or bringing the whole family. (For children, if the adults are buying the AYCE menu, children are charged by their height. My four year old niece barely eats so $10 is a great price and we don't have to pay for full price like some places do.

We were both pleasantly surprised. My friend ordered the Cold Spicy Noodles and immediately commented on how authentic the flavor was, reminding her of dishes she enjoyed growing up in Korea. I went with the 5-piece Shrimp Tempura appetizer, which was perfectly crispy and delicious. Combined with the generous assortment of complimentary Korean side dishes, there was more than enough food to leave us completely satisfied. One of the highlights of the restaurant is that every table is equipped with its own tabletop barbecue. Most of the guests were enjoying the Korean BBQ experience, and the food looked fantastic. We didn't try the barbecue this visit, but after seeing and smelling what everyone else was cooking, it's definitely at the top of our list for next time. If you're looking for authentic Korean flavors without having to drive into Los Angeles, Charcoal Korean BBQ is a great local option. Friendly service, delicious food, and a comfortable atmosphere make it a place we'll gladly return to. I'd give it a solid 4.5 stars and look forward to coming back to try the tabletop BBQ next time.

Jorge was our waiter, and he immediately brought waters and banchans. I made a comment about how the menu is now a QR code, and Jorge pointed out the newer items, such as egg rolls, hashbrown, and fried squid. We also ordered two draft beers ($7/ pint). Jorge took our meat order and we started off with beef belly, thin pork belly and marinated pork skirt meat. The food arrived on a robot which was really fun. (Don't forget to hit the Done button to send the robot back home!). I also ordered the fried squid. I found the beef belly to be perfectly fatty, and it crisped up really well. My favorite has been the marinated pork skirt meet for a while now. The marinade is a little sweet, and the pork tasted great too. I tried the fried squid legs and there was a lot more fried, and less squid legs. However, the batter was pretty tasty! We ordered a few repeat meats, and Jorge was efficient with the grill changes. The last thing I ordered was the tofu soup. I don't want to say it was too spicy, but it definitely had a kick that left me coughing. I wish that we could pick the spice level, maybe next time I will ask to see if it's possible to get less spice. This is my favorite KBBQ spot in SCV. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The icing on the cake for me is that they always have the best music playing! I always have a good time whenever I come here.

The soy ginger is salty goodness, perfect for someone who wants to venture a step beyond the Classic Crunch. My personal choice for next time would be the fries over the Korean style street corn. If you've had esquites from your local street vendor, you'll feel the same. The portions here are hella generous for the price; lunch special is $11.99 for a variety of chicken combos and a side. I appreciate the choice of bottled or soda machine for my soda; I'm a bottle person. They have Pepsi for your carbonated needs. The crunch on this chicken is something special. Particularly on the legs. It gives the full ASMR experience! The female cashier was super welcoming and helpful. We were hesitant on what flavor to choose, and she offered a two flavor split. She also noticed my wife didn't order a drink and offered a water cup. It's the little things, but oftentimes I have to ask for basic necessities.
