I arrived around 8:20pm on a Saturday night. I was worried because it was Father's Day weekend that it would be crowded, but to my surprise there was no wait. Jorge was our waiter, and he immediately brought waters and banchans. I made a comment about how the menu is now a QR code, and Jorge pointed out the newer items, such as egg rolls, hashbrown, and fried squid. We also ordered two draft beers ($7/ pint). Jorge took our meat order and we started off with beef belly, thin pork belly and marinated pork skirt meat. The food arrived on a robot which was really fun. (Don't forget to hit the Done button to send the robot back home!). I also ordered the fried squid. I found the beef belly to be perfectly fatty, and it crisped up really well. My favorite has been the marinated pork skirt meet for a while now. The marinade is a little sweet, and the pork tasted great too. I tried the fried squid legs and there was a lot more fried, and less squid legs. However, the batter was pretty tasty! We ordered a few repeat meats, and Jorge was efficient with the grill changes. The last thing I ordered was the tofu soup. I don't want to say it was too spicy, but it definitely had a kick that left me coughing. I wish that we could pick the spice level, maybe next time I will ask to see if it's possible to get less spice. This is my favorite KBBQ spot in SCV. The staff is always friendly and efficient. Always a great time having dinner at Wuso. It was especially top tier today, as we celebrate my Uncle's birthday. He deliberately requested to eat here, as a hard to please older Korean man who lives in ktown, that means alot in terms of the quality of the food and service. Anna and the rest of the staff were always on top of things and food was delicious. Our whole family is obsessed with the soybean/tofu soup. It's a must have with your choice of meat. Went here for the first time the other day. Honestly just didn't do enough to justify the $30+ per person price point even if it is all you can eat (90min time limit). Ambience can be awkward with just a low wall between booths which are also very close to each other. It's a small restaurant. Ordered several protein options from the Standard Menu (Option A) including brisket, pork belly, squid, etc which were all good enough. Banchan was plentiful and good quality. Service was above average, but it was also pretty slow in there. The server would check on us fairly often and would assist in cutting/turning the meat as needed. Overall, pretty standard KBBQ joint. Hits most of the marks without trying too hard. In my honest opinion, there are other KKBQ places in the valley that are of equal quality for a lower price (Gen is one example). If they would drop the price a bit, it could be worth coming here and we could support our local KBBQ read more

First impressions - pretty darn good. $29.99 AYCE filled us up. Had an assortment of meats, salad, vegetables, soup, rice and rice paper. Service was fast and friendly and the food comes out quick. They say there is a 90-minute time limit and that was plenty for us. It's probably enforced only when they have to. I didn't think the bulgogi was all that great because I could barely taste the marinade but most of these AYCE spots don't have the best flavor. My first time trying out this KBBQ spot & literally as soon as I parked in the plaza, I could smell it from the outside. Service was mediocre, maybe because I did go about 90 minutes before they closed. However, I liked that they had robots that delivered side dishes and meats! My favorite meats were the marinated beef belly & their brisket! Potato salad was also good even though I'm usually not a huge fan. The only reason why they're not getting 5 stars from me was because one of the servers (blonde chick) didn't do last call on my table and told me I can't order any more meats even though the table next to me was allowed to order more. Officially found the best overall Korean bbq that fits all the criteria you want in a Korean bbq. Place was well organized and clean ambiance. Food was so good and fresh meat all together. Very good starters and appetizers. I went with the B option which is the one that made sense out of all of them. Wasn't willing to pay extra $10 just for 2 extra different meats. Just felt the B option has all we need. I recommend the beef bulgogi and the short rib and ribeye steak and beef rib finger and also the beef tongue.! Everything else was also tasty, just those are what I went for seconds on! Customer service is top notch! Our server Amanda was wonderful. She was super helpful and attentive with everything and our orders. Other server Anna was so helpful and really nice person, we were struggling to cut our meat with the scissors and omg she offered to cut it to us and she did cut all the meat into pieces for us (reminded of how my mom would do it for me when we were kids lol) omg it was just so wholesome for some reason :) Bill at the end came around $94-$98 for 2 people option B + 4 soda cans (they only have cans unfortunately). Honestly, very reasonable compared to how much everything else and prices of other kbbq. Found this as it was the highest rated in Santa Clarita. I think Menu B was the most worth it, galbi (short rib) and the rib fingers were definitely worth the upgrade. Lots of good marbling on both and are also very well marinated. Be sure to try the beef belly and beef tongue which I think are underrated KBBQ cuts. I do wish they had a few more sides. Some of our favorites (that we missed dearly) were the seasoned spinach, steamed egg, and corn cheese. Also I wish they had more set ups for larger parties. The place felt clean and they kept changing our grill out. So I thought that was a nice touch. It's all you can eat and they have 3 different tiers that you can choose from. Since the last time we were here, they have raised their prices and changed their menu by further limiting their choices per the AYCE level you choose. My kids and I still had a good meal, but we would have just went to our other place if we wanted to spend almost the same amount for less meat options. I should have checked our go to before I took the family to Wuso. They seemed like they were closing and kinda in a rush to get us out. I asked for a second bowl of rice and when I had to remind our server, he finally informed me that they were out of rice. This is still a good back up place if our "go to" is too crowded, but my wife said that we should just spend the extra money if we know that we will be getting what we want at the our "go to" place. The brisket could've been a little bit better cut with the fat marbling more evenly. Most of the briskets just had an edge of fat and the rest was meat. But it was still OK. I can understand with inflation and having to find a balance with quality and price so the menu price doesn't skyrocket. We also got bulgogi and thin sliced pork belly. Both were good. Our server, Jamie (with orange hair), made us feel uncomfortable almost immediately. We decided to stop there with the order for the time being. While we were cooking our food, we noticed her whispering to another staff member while both of them stared at our table. It made us feel extremely uncomfortable, but we chose to ignore it and continue with our meal. Later, we placed a second order with two more meats and a tofu soup. The tofu soup was excellent, and my friend asked for another one, which Erik, our other server, happily brought out with a smile. After some time, I also wanted another tofu soup. When my friend asked Jamie for one more, she responded with a condescending "Another one??" and made a face. It was enough to ruin the mood completely. This is honestly our favorite go to KBBQ spot that is well worth the price within our area (we live in Palmdale). We love the variety of meats that they offer. The flavor is delicious! Our favorite is the spicy beef belly. We can do 4+ rounds of that depending on how hungry we are. We look forward to coming here all the time because we know the service is top notch.
