Absolutely disgusting experience.. I ordered ramen and was served watery soup with a fly floating in it. That alone shows how unsanitary this place is. When I called to complain, Connie--the owner/manager--was rude and dismissive and told me to come in to the restaurant so she could "see the fly" herself. No apology, no professionalism. Yes, I got a refund, but the damage was done. Serving food with insects in it is disgusting and unacceptable. Between the filthy food and the hostile attitude, this place is a health hazard. Ramen doesn't travel well, so it's mostly my fault that my GrubHub delivery arrived tepid. A greens salad and dressing, also not a good traveler, was limp, but again, my bad. In all fairness, I placed my order near closing time on a week night, so this was the trifecta of ways you shouldn't order takeout. Still, the all-important broth and the pork slices both were bland. Not saying it wasn't bad, but not exactly good, but this is just my opinion, so don't let it make you stray from trying this place! I got the Steak Ramen, the broth is watery but it's okay, kind of bland in my opinion, the steak was also really tough and hard to bite into. The mixed tempura was good and the fried rice was just okay. The item I liked the best was the Thai Iced Tea, that was deliciously sweet. The service was just okay, not saying the lady who helped us was bad, but it felt very minimal, especially when it was just us and another group. My friend and I were in there and we ordered a lot of food since we wanted to take home left overs. First off, the waitress come over to our table and said that she'd be right with us but wanted to leave her notepad with us "in case we wanted to write it down ourselves". I didn't mind this too much but I did find it a bit unprofessional and odd. Nonetheless, I wrote down our order and she came by to pick up her notepad. She came back and few minutes later and said she had a question. She went through everything we were getting and then commented "wow that's a lot of food! We dropped in on a cold day for some delicious ramen. I got the spicy miso ramen, my boyfriend got chicken ramen and his son got regular miso. I tried all and it was so delicious. The broth is rich and the noodles were perfectly cooked. The place is very small but the waitress was so kind! My boyfriend's son doesn't know how to use chopsticks so she made him trainers with a rubber band and napkin. When we were leaving she handed him to take him and practice with.
