This was a nice visit for some pho! The service was quick and very nice. The location is very clean and tidy. It's not a huge location so i wouldn't recommend big parties. My egg rolls were 5/5. How have I never rated this place before?!?! LOVE this place! I have been around in my military career, all over the US, Korea, Europe, SWA and I can easily say (in my opinion) this place has the BEST fried rice I have ever had. The ingredients are top notch and the flavor is on point! Ask for the combination fried rice, and the chili oil infused soy sauce, you will not be dissatisfied... and if you are, just bring the leftovers to my place and I'll get rid of them for you. I usually get it to go, but the few times I have ate there, the service was quick and efficient too. Had to go to the UPS store, and saw this gem across the street decided to try this spot, this place is owned by Vietnamese people, when I walk in I was greeted right away, he told me I could sit anywhere I like, and it's playing pretty cool Vietnamese music lol, I sat down the table is very clean and the ambience is warm and nice, I ordered a brisket and beef noodle soup, it was perfect for this rainy weather and of course who could forget about the spring rolls and egg rolls, they're sooo yummy too ! Located in an east to access strip mall, Vietnam Kitchen provided fast to-go service and had my order ready to go and on the table for me to pick up upon my arrival. Just a note, they will not have the Pho completely prepared if you order it to-go and you will need to do some final preparations before eating once you get home. Delicious food!!! I had the #203, the Eye Round Steak Noodle Soup. The broth was a good base- I added all the stuffs (it's served with sides of jalapeños, half a lime, and beak sprouts, basil leafs). Fresh ingredients! I added all the ingredients and let it simmer for a bit (15-min) while I messed around on my phone.... It was so good! The lime is clutch. Adding the jalapeños brought some heat! I added some more heat (1.5 spoonfuls spicy chili crisp sauce). It was deliciously rich and tasty! Also had a side of spring rolls, they were light, crisp and a good contrast to the hot pho. Service was fast! Less then 8-min from order to food on table. Server was courteous and genial. Second server was helpful and hilarious too!!! I just have to balance things out. This is not the best pho I've ever had. So I was disappointed because everyone on Fayetteville Foodies said it was the best. I ordered takeout because of a coupon I had with one of the online delivery services. What was notable about this place compared to other Fayetteville Vietnamese restaurants is that they had vegetarian Pho, which I ordered along with some rolls. My order was ready in a timely fashion. I didn't really like their pho, however. The broth didn't taste right to me. It seemed like perhaps MSG (don't get me wrong, I'm not dead set against MSG as it is a natural compound that is in every protein). It wasn't as flavorful or aromatic as better veggie pho broths I've had. They present it in a disassembled way, which allowed me to take out the broccoli I didn't want, leaving me with a decent assortment of cabbage, bok choy, onions, carrots, and a few pieces of baby corn and tofu. I disliked the broth enough that I poured the rest of it out and made my own for half of these components. The rolls were fine with a nice flavorful peanut-soy sauce. It was plenty of food for the money. It wasn't really to my taste, and maybe their other dishes are better, but more likely I'll stick to the other Vietnamese places that I know. read more

The Vietnam Kitchen is a decent place to go to for quick service. It's located within the plaza behind the Westwood Shopping Center and has ample parking. I ended up getting the Deluxe Vermicelli Bowl that came with some grilled shrimp, ground pork patty, and marinated beef (or pork or chicken) with a fried egg roll on top. Overall, the portion was good, but for me what was missing was some herbs and more vegetables to add a bit more liveliness. The meat was abundant, but became one note and on the heavy side. The ground pork patty was a bit much in my opinion that dominated over the marinated beef. There were a few pieces of shrimp (2-3) as well that was more for presentation rather than an integral part of the dish. The nuoc cham (sauce) itself was a bit on the sweet side and could have had a bit more vinegar added for some tang. read more

Pho was on point, almost as good as little saigon in California. The customer service was great and pleasant as well. The restaurant is clean. I will return here on my next trip to give their other items on the menu a try. The price for bowl 214 was around 15 dollars but it's a huge bowl. After a long 10 hour road trip we stopped here for dinner since it had great reviews. Expensive for what you got in my opinion ($15+ per pho bowl and $8 for a small cup of clear broth with rice noodles for a kid). We also got a summer roll which was just wilted shredded lettuce, 3 rubbery shrimp and unsalted noodles. No basil, no cilantro, maximally bland with peanut dip that was candy sweet. So anyways we had a 15 min ride to our stop after getting the food and when we arrived home we discovered that all of our soups were absolutely ruined!! The noodles were stored in separate tin foil wraps and were literally BRICKS. I assume they were old. We tried microwaving them in the broth to separate them. Didn't work. We ended up just tearing the bricks into chunks. It was by far the worst pho I've ever had. After our long trip on the road I legit cried over the disappointment of this meal. Love love love! I got off work and they had my togo food ready super quick. I ordered the round eye soup and there was a ton of broth, meat, noodles and veggies when I brought the soup home. The flavor of the broth was delicious, especially when you add the hoisin sauce and lime juice! Other than the food, the hospitality was fantastic! The gentleman (I wish I got his name) who gave me change for a tip was so sweet and made me want to come back just so I could talk to him! I came back to visit family and saw this new vietnamese restaurant and was excited to try it! I've been all around the USA and have tried many different vietnamese restaurants and honestly, I'd give this place a two thumbs up! Customer service was superb!!
