My favorite drink is the Nitro cold brew with half n half & lavender. It's very relaxing drink & this coffeehouse is on the way to my house.

I came here with my partner and waited about 45-50 minutes for two coffee drinks and a single tamale. There were only two other people in the store who already had their drinks and food. When the tamale was brought out the woman working was extremely rude and went on to yell at us to be careful and that we needed to wait because it would be way too hot to eat. Upon taking the first bite we realized the entire thing was frozen inside. A very unpleasant experience and would definitely recommend going elsewhere if you are looking for friendly staff and good coffee. read more

This is the best coffee shop on the west side! Under new ownership and the difference is clear. Local organic coffee that is top notch is enough for the 5 stars. Throw in great bagels and snacks to supplement is key for any quality coffee shop. The cherry on top is the friendly enjoyable staff who are a joy to be around. Great variety. Super cozy & friendly. My 1st visit here. Love to support local over big box, corporate chains. They use local roasters (Daisy Mtn)--local is best for everyone. Kinda surprised at cost--my Nutty Hawaiian hot latte was more than $6, yikes! Other than that, no complaints. Baked goods & some chilled deli items, drinks in cooler. Comfy indoor seating--also, a few tables on front sidewalk patio with umbrellas, just too hot to enjoy those now. Give 'em a try. Go local! I really enjoyed my visit here w my friend. It's a very quaint and cozy coffeehouse. They offer good small bites menu along w a more expansive one for those w a heartier appetite. My friend is NOT a coffee drinker, but the barista was able to recommend one she was able to enjoy when we enlisted her help. My friend found it so tasty, that she had forgotten it was coffee. The service was prompt, although there was only the barista working, yet serving quite a few of us in this beautiful little establishment. She helped us quickly and efficiently. I came here for a coffee and muffin with my mom. This place is a simple coffee shop and there's nothin much to it besides the 15 specialty lattes and Italian sodas. I got the creme brûlée latte which is made of Carmel and vanilla, and it was pretty good. My mom got a vanilla latte and my mom said that it is average. There pastries I'm pretty sure that they were from Costco but they were still good. I'm assuming that they get most of there business from teachers and students from midwestern which is across the street. When we went my mom was going to get some avocado toast with an egg on the top but they didn't have eggs and then she was going to get the toast with tomatoes on top but they didn't make that anymore. They advertised those dishes on a poster right by the cash register. This place is average but is quiet so I recommend this place for a studying student. read more

I recently moved in the area and enjoy walking to get my morning coffee about two to three times a month. In the beginning the staff was always helpful with drink suggestions and making the drink perfect every time. About a month ago a gentleman started working in the morning and made my opinion change about how great this place was. No doubt he is nice and welcoming but he has messed up my drink twice now. The first time happened a couple months ago, I ordered an iced dirty chai with oat milk. The drink ended up being made hot, but he must have realized before handing it to me so he threw it in an ice cup with some ice cubes that melted by the time I left the building. I knew he was new so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and didn't say anything. Second mistake happened this morning. I got an iced French vanilla latte with oat milk, which is also written clearly on the cup. I watched from the lounge area as he proceeded to make my drink with whole milk and yet again I walked out without saying anything. As someone who's worked in a coffee shop myself, most times customers come in looking for that cup of coffee to start their morning off right. Unfortunately that was not the case with these last couple of visits as I left disappointed and annoyed. read more

Cute spot and convenient for midwestern. Coffee is good and they have a ton of options and customization possible. Drinks are reasonably priced for the size, but they are quite sugary. Food is not awesome though. We went and ended up getting warmed up food from another store that we immediately recognized..... Wait staff is generally nice, but they should up the number of people during rush hours. We waited a super long time 30+ min for two coffees, a quiche, and an instant oatmeal. read more

I came here a while ago and at first I was like this seems like a good spot to have a nice cup of coffee along with reading a good book, a friend of mine came in and we were chatting for a while. This was a Saturday at about 11 am, and as we were chatting it up we were told that they were going to be closing pretty soon which I though was strange because 1. It was a Saturday and you would think they would want to stay open for business and 2. it was 11am. Oh well I just though it was strange and I see the time now that they are opened until 6pm, so maybe they changed the time. Its just not a place I would bother going back to, its in a good location but I dont think its worth it to go out of your way and try this place. read more

The service is really good and helpful. We tried a chai which was really good, probably one of the best I've had. I took down two stars because it's very pricey for what you get and the specialty lattes tasted absurdly sweet, I felt like I was drinking syrups instead of a latte. Cute little coffee shop with so many drink options. A ton of latte flavor combos (like Dutch Bro's) and bulletproof coffee that my friend drinks every morning. I need sugar free and they have many of those flavors too. I had an iced creme brûlée sugar free and it was great. My daughter has a chai tea and liked that too. Today she got a Italian soda. Yummy! Located in the same plaza as Zipp's across the street from Midwestern, this place is so cute! The staff is friendly and very helpful, especially pretty early in the morning when I can't quite function yet. There are plenty of chairs and tables if you needed to settle down and get some work done. Drinks are good, but I honestly couldn't tell the difference between drinks. It just tastes like espresso to me. The biggest drawback to this place is the price. I can get the same drink but save almost $1 at Starbucks or another chain coffee shop. With it being a very student heavy area, I was somewhat taken aback at their prices. Additionally, they close fairly early (5pm on Weekdays and 2pm on Weekends I think?) which is kind of inconvenient for those who need a late night boost of caffeine. As the closest coffee shop to Midwestern University, this is definitely a place to try out. You definitely can't beat the convenience factor as it is walking distance to MWU and the surrounding apartment complexes where students live. I know I'll be back sometime! read more

Excellent coffee! They have a large selection of sugar-free flavors ands lots of interesting and unusual lattes. Prices are reasonable. Interior is kinda dark and cozy, lots of chairs. I am all for local coffee shops but I can't recommend this one. Parking is terrible, it's shared with a Zipps and about 7 other business so you'll have to park down the back of the plaza or at the end of the plaza away from the building. I have tried this place 3 times in the past 4 years and every time I go my order is wrong. Not sure if it's the baristas or the coffee itself but my drinks never taste good. Never had so many issues with coffee at a local shop. Not bad a space. The interior is nice and there are tables to work on, those against the wall have outlets of course. I can't speak for the food, never had it. From a coffee lover's perspective, I would definitely not recommend this place. read more

I found it... Fellow westsiders... I found the local coffee shop with the best tasting coffee!! And they have recently been adding fun new things to their menu. Including açaí bowls and shakes, Italian sodas, and avocado toast! Follow them on social media and you can find out when they will be having local artists come and sign, play guitar, and piano in their shop. Usually on Friday and Saturday nights. I recently had the Nutty Hawaiian I believe it was coconut and and caramel and it was not overly sweet, you were able to taste the coffee, and it was creamy smooth. You will find lots of snacks, sweet treats, and healthy snacks available as well. Everything is decently priced and this shop is super cute, decently sized, lots of sitting space, and cute decor. Come here to hang, study, or come in to grab and go. I'm so glad I finally found a local coffee shop that actually has coffee taste to their coffee drinks! read more

Quiet little coffeehouse tucked away in a large shopping area. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. The 3 times I have been in, it was quiet and barely anyone in there which made it great for getting work done and making calls. However I overheard the owner said that was because it was summer. Once school starts (Midwestern just across the street), things pick up. I really like that they put TWO shots of espresso in their small lattes! and their donuts are a treat. I can't seem to resist the blueberry cake donut every time I go in. I've yet to try the red velvet! Beware: parking is constantly a nightmare in the shopping complex due to the Zipps Sports Grill next door and possibly students parking in the lot. You may have to take a hike from where you park. read more
