Homage Coffee House is an absolute gem in downtown Glendale! This charming, family-owned business, nestled in a beautifully restored old house, offers such a warm and inviting atmosphere. You instantly feel at home, thanks to the incredibly kind staff. I loved the variety of seating; from their cozy porch to the clever indoor area, which is split into two separate rooms which offers privacy and ability to focus (maybe do some school work or work from home tasks). It's ideal for a quiet morning or casual hangout with friends. They offer fun board games to play as well. Their yummy pastries and unique drinks and lattes are a real treat. The pretty neighborhood outside makes it exceptionally perfect for a fall visit. Plus, don't miss the small section of thoughtfully curated thrift store items inside - such a unique touch! Homage Coffee House truly lives up to its name, creating a community hub that feels like a warm embrace. I'll definitely be back soon.

WOW is what comes to mind. Not only is their coffee amazing but the staff are incredibly kind. I don't order coffee a lot because I'm always disappointed because they are usually too sweet or too milky and this place knows how to make a coffee. I love the rich taste of coffee with hints of sweetness and they nailed it. Plus we went when the shop was about to close so we were given a couple pastries which never happens anywhere else. Homage don't change a thing because you're perfect. I also drive almost an hour each way to try this place and I'd go back.

Stopped by Homage Coffee and was absolutely blown away. I tried the rosemary lavender iced latte, robust, wild, beautifully flavorful... truly a dream in a cup. The vibe here is warm and welcoming, with super friendly staff that make the place feel like home. Can't wait to come back!

Amazing coffee. It's spectacular. Honey comb toffee choco latte was delicious. I'm satisfied. The shop is also so cutesy.

Cute little spot, it's the yellow house you can't miss it ! The staff is very welcoming up entering, was greeted by one of the owners. I previously came by and had the honeycomb latte which I loved, the second time it was way too sweet. I decided to give it another chance, I got the vanillacardoma and wow that did not disappoint. Not to sweet, you can taste the espresso and flavor. If you like something on the sweeter and fun side try the honeycomb.

Drinks were delicious without feeling like a sugar bomb. They were very coffee forward instead of tasting like a milkshake. The tamale was so good too! We could have eaten like 10 more! Service was friendly and quick. The vibe of the place was cozy and cute. We'd definitely come back!

Always so nice and well attended. Lots of good vibes, and very popular. I usually get the strawberry matcha but this time i got the Houjicha iced latte which is roasted matcha and syrup; it was actually really good. The color scared me a little though at the beginning; i thought it would be bitter 10/10

Third time here and love it every time First time getting early enough to have the strawberry matcha, let me tell you it didn't disappoint! Service friendly and ambiance relax.

A humble little vegan coffee shop staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Super warm atmosphere but not a lot of comfy seating, most chairs were metal or barstools with no back so keep that in mind that it might not be a great place to spend the whole morning. Their chai was good and I enjoyed the banana walnut streusel muffin!

Best coffee i've had all week! The cinna matcha was to die for. Service was excellent! Homage Coffee house gave me it's own unique experience. My fiancé was asking the lady about coffee recommendations and she happily shared her knowledge about a few. A cozy home cafe type of vibe! This place provided warmth and comfort for me, very causal setting.

Homage is the gem of Glendale! A vegan coffee shop with pastries?! YES, PLEASE! This is the cutest coffee shop the west side has to offer. The old house is adorable, the coffee is delicious, and the ambiance is something you won't find anywhere else. I had the rosemary lavender latte and it did not disappoint. Homage did not skimp on flavor and the rosemary was delicious. I also had the cherry turnover, and I highly recommended it. The staff was friendly and welcoming, re-read our order to us for accuracy, and were quick to deliver our order. This is a great meeting spot and I can't wait to come back!

If you're vegan and love coffee, matcha, and pastries, GO HERE! This is your answer! If you're not vegan and love these things, also GO HERE. The flakiness of the puff pastry... omg, it's perfect. They have sweet and savory, and literally everything I've tried is so good. Especially the (vegan) chorizo and feta. The drinks are all SO GOOD. They use Xanadu coffee (which I love), and they also have non-coffee options. They also will do drinks in kids sizes, so our LOs can get a flavored lemonade. The staff and owner are the absolute nicest people, so helpful, so friendly, and so patient when I can't make up my mind lol. Also, they have a little patio outside and a lawn that is perfect for when it's not insanely hot outside. This is my absolute favorite coffee house in the valley. I really can't gush enough about how great they are!

Since discovering Homeage Coffee House in Glendale I have been here many times. I probably would go more often if I lived on this side of town. A small family run business that has great customer service. They use Xanadu coffee here. stroopwaffell latte I can't remember what's in it but so good but often sold out when I'm there. Blueberry scone, blueberry rolls, I usually try whatever sweet treat they have there for the day. Lavender white chocolate latte with vanilla cold brew The owners were great and this place is a gem. Everything is delicious. Anytime I'm in the area I will definitely stop in.

Great music playing in the background set the mood, songs like Knock Three Times and Song Sung Blue by Neil Diamond. The lady who helped me place my order, possibly the owner, was so sweet. Patient too, as I made my selections. It was hard to choose what to get as the shop has so many appetizing sweet and savory options on the menu. I ended up getting a chocolate milkshake and a 6-pack of oatmeal cookies I was able to take home and share, including chocolate chip (no nuts), chocolate walnut, peanut butter dark chocolate cashew, dark chocolate pecan, dark chocolate cashew, and oatmeal raisin with pecans (they have a nut-free version too). The taste of everything was phenomenal. The shake had the perfect consistency and a strong chocolatey flavor, yet wasn't too sweet. And the cookies were nice and chewy and loaded with delicious chunks of nuts and chocolate. Honestly, I couldn't really tell the difference between the nut and chocolate combo flavors as the oatmeal was really the highlight. The peanut butter one and oatmeal raisin were more recognizable. ALL of them were amazing!

I recently had to be in the downtown Glendale area - the Yelp machine recommended I hit up Blue Corn Cafe. There's some development / construction in the downtown area so parking is a little limited. However - I was able to snag a spot right along 58th Ave and get a good view of all the cute shops to check out at a later date. Blue Corn was surprisingly busy that morning due to hosting a Coffee with Cops event. I got the low down from a few of the GPD staff that they are consistently rated as one of the best cafes in the city, maybe even the West Valley. They have recently-ish opened up a second location in DT Mesa, which definitely fits their vibe. I was told the owner gets up early every day to bake - I love the dedication to his craft. Like many mom and pops, there are times when quantities are limited. So ofc I had to buy some baked goods to go for my work team! Their muffins are HUGE - like 2 -3 servings per *singular* muffin. I didn't know what I was getting into when I bought 6... hello carb heaven for us. I noticed a lot of sweet and savory options - croissant sandwiches, cookies, you name it. Definitely the muffins were well-enjoyed by all (PSL, lemon-blueberry, red velvet), and the general consensus was lemon blueberry as the winner. It's a small space with not a lot of seating options however there appears to be a back patio that might be shared with other restaurants. I couldn't get a view on my way out. Cannot wait for the next time that I'm in the area to grab more sweets!

It happened to be a little under twenty minutes away from us so we decided let's do it & they were open late. Hell yeah. There's not a crazy amount of pastries but the selection was great. We got two tiramisus, one vanilla custard lobster tail, some mini cannolis, & the wedding cookies. Everything came out to about $50 so beware, prices aren't exactly cheap. But for one, if you're going to do "bad" then do it right & we also shared with our family of 5 so plenty to go around. & Holy cow, everything was incredible. So indulgent, decadent & rich in flavor. My nephews liked the cannolis, personally they're not my favorite, but if you're into it the mini's are a great option to quench the craving. The lobster tail with the vanilla custard took me by surprise. I didn't think I was going to care for it, but the cold custard was refreshing & the flakiness of the bread was crazy, my taster buds were confused by the textures, but in the best way. They complemented each other well. My ultimate favorite was the tiramisu & the wedding cookies. I honestly wish I had gotten more of the wedding cookies, those things took me back. I grew up eating the Mexican ones & the Italians did it right *applause* But damn, the tiramisu was to die for. I would order that again & again. Perfectly chilled, the dusting of the cocoa powder didn't taste like nesquik--incredible. At first the price had me thinking if we were doing too much, like damn, should we have just gone to Sprouts bakery? But after being able to indulge in a great quality dessert, it was worth every dollar. My only feedback, careful when you're paying at the register. If you're not paying attention, the tip automatically defaults to 18% on the tablet. Only thing I didn't care for. I could see if I was eating at the restaurant, but I just popped in to take pastries to go. So, that was kind of annoying. The service was fine, the girl that helped me was nice, but again I just pointed at desserts I wanted & went home. The location is part of the main restaurant, but it has its own entrance & little room making it feel separate to the Sicilian Butcher. They also carry gelato which I haven't tried yet. I believe they have little tables to sit at also. Highly recommend checking this out so save room for dessert!
