We had three different sandwiches and chicken noodle soup and cream of broccoli. After visiting GCM Instagram page and this Yelp page - I couldn't help but try them out. This is such a great addition to our River North neighborhood here. This family run corner market is just perfect. They have everything you could ever want, and I'm sure if you need it they will get it for you. They are open till 11 PM which is amazing, because they do sell alcohol and have a huge selection. They make fresh deli sandwiches per request and with lots of love and pride. They will deliver close to neighbors I believe, and you can call ahead to place orders!! This is a must stop by market and they also do breakfast sandwiches. Oh and let me mention one more thing the music when you walk in is jammin and it's a fun environment to shop in!!!! read more

One of my favorite liquor stores in the city. The place is brand new and filled with unique items. Full variety of hard to find champagne whisky and wine along with a deli for amazing sandwiches. This is the place to go. Family vibe, charisma and delicious hot sandwiches and the owners genuinely care about your experience and taste. Had a 15 minute conversation with the man before I even knew he was an owner and the product I was looking for will be on the shelf next week if it isn't there when I visit. Went home with delicious wine, (they do free tastings on the weekends) VERY CLEAN, and charming as hell. They have passion and personality and pricing is reasonable as could be! OMG! Best sandwich ever! I had my first sandwich at Gold Coast Market today and boy was it amazing. It's hard to feel blown away by a sandwich, but was it ever! It was the seasonal made with turkey with swiss cheese cranberry and maybe wasabi on super fresh bread. As my sandwich was being prepared I roamed the store shelves and was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the prices were for a small boutique store. I will definitely be back! read more

This place is incredible! I walked in to look for a very specific item, which I assumed they didn't have do to its specificity, and while searching ran into French burnt peanuts which are my favorite and impossible to find! While I was checking out the owner noticed I couldn't find something I was looking for, then gave me his card and said if there is ever anything I think should be in the store or that I need to text/email him and he promises it will be in the store within the next 5 weeks. And on top of that, he offered me two free sandwiches to go which was an incredibly kind gesture. The customer service here is out of this world, and you can truly tell that not only do they really care about their business, but they care about the neighborhood around them as well. What an amazing new place to have nearby! P.S. The sandwiches are killer. They also do breakfast sandwiches as well which I haven't had yet but assume are amazing. read more
