The best corn bread I've ever had!!! I tried the Fried Cajun Corn and it was alright. I didn't care for the Cajun butter on the side. I prefer the regular corn on the cob. We also had the Chopped pork sandwich and it was alright. The meat was not as flavorful. Their sauces are ok though. We didn't care for the Stevia sweet stuff. Obviously a very popular place. Nice people and great service! Food was ok. I would return for sure. I do have to say that you can really tell when a place makes their food with the cheapest ingredients. Sad. Sauce on wings was good but wings themselves were bland and no flavor. After probably 30 great meals eaten in at Goldrush just had my first carry out order, it was very disappointing! Only had a rack of ribs and an order of okra. The woman I ordered from said 30 minutes. When I got there they had no process for pickup. Kept yelling out peoples names. When I got my order and went home, 3 blocks away, my okra was cold and my ribs were way over-cooked, burned. Really tasted like the ribs had been warmed up and they didn't even offer any sauce to go with them. If they hadn't been doing carry out for years I could understand but they have no excuse. Worst of all I walked up to the window wearing my mask The girl at the window handling my food was not wearing a mask. Shame on her and the management. Charlene was our server at the bar and is one of the reasons we will definitely return. All of the staff we encountered were friendly, efficient and energetic, including the owner. The food arrived quickly, was plentiful, and tasted great. Several homemade barbecue sauces are available, including some made with Stevia instead of cane sugar, and a choice of regular or spicy sauce. We dined on a Tuesday, all you can eat baby back ribs was on special. The ribs were very good, not fall off the bone like some joints who par boil the ribs. This swine was quite tasty, required a little effort and had a nice but subtle smoke flavor. Thoroughly enjoyed the three different sauce's that were provided. Omg, The most amazing BBQ back ribs I've ever tasted! The server, Ayla, was very attentive and accommodating. The servings are very generous and they give you choices of four or five different sauces which I also really like. Sadly, disappointing! This was our first and last time. Maybe the mistake was to go on the Monday night the day after Mother's day. I ordered a half slab of St. Louis ribs, corn on the cob and cucumber salad. My husband ordered a full slab of babybacks, smashed potatoes and corn on the cob. The order came out in less than 90 seconds. Everything was cold and dry like they were left over from the big mother's day rush. I couldn't believe how awful the meal was. The corn was like feed corn, tough, cold and dry.The ribs were dry and room temperature and the potatoes cold. Told the server who was surprised but no response from management. In a community that needs to please it's locals off-season this was not a good showing. BOO! read more

We had lunch from Gold Rush today, love the place and deco, very cozy and well done. I had a full rack of baby backs which i was hoping would be super tender and fall off the bone but sad to say they were not as tender as i was hoping for. They did have great taste although would have liked a little more smoke flavor, the coleslaw was good as was the Mac and Cheese but again was hoping for some some flavor on the mac and cheese. My wife had a pulled pork sandwich and the meet was dry. All and all an average meal although we will not be going back as there are much better choices we feel. read more
