I went with straight tenders and fries with hickory bbq dip as well as buffalo bleu cheese. The tenders were quite small but were of very high quality with really juicy chicken and a good batter. The dipping sauces were good especially the buffalo bleu cheese. The parmesan fries were outstanding as well. The restaurant itself looked pretty cool and had a lot cool decor on the walls. The service was fine as well. At the end of the day I don't rate Citybird as high as Joella's or Raisin Canes but there's still a lot to like here and the next time want to try out their sandwiches.

Then things got out of hand. We ordered a cup (yes, a cup) of Cane's Sauce. $5. Worth it. No regrets. Even tho the place was packed, the service was quick. While the restaurant wasn't necessarily noisy, one dip of a chicken tender in the cup of sauce and every sound melted away. Just two people with their Caniac meals and a cup of Heaven. The chicken was piping hot, as were the fries, the slaw is always great... but we added some Cane's Sauce to it and took it to another level. The tenders were large as were the portions of fries.
