Napa Melt
Madeline M.

We ordered the Napa melt and a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. Both meals were mid. The bagel had no flavor and was cold. The Napa melt was soggy. However, portions were generous. The lattes were delicious! The staff was friendly, but slow and didn't tell us when our drinks were ready.

1/2 of my classic BLT on a croissant!

I can't say enough about this wonderful café. The staff and the owner are super super friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. Posting a pic here of 1/2 of a classic BLT on a freshly baked croissant, and I mean it was just out of the oven. So delicious! Their deli cabinet where you can buy frozen items to take home and cook always has something delicious in it.

I was looking for a local spot that made their own bagels so I came to the golden bagel Café. I was very pleasantly surprised with how delicious the bagel was. I did grab the last chocolate croissant because I thought it would be good but I was slightly disappointed. I ordered everything to be eaten at the restaurant and my bagel came out on a tray, but my croissant came out, warmed up in a bag so all of the chocolate was on the bag. Overall, the bagel was good and the ambience of the place is really nice. They do have a lot of of extra items that you can purchase as gifts. I showed up around 11:30 and they were all out of cinnamon bagels already which obviously means those are a favorite. Skip the croissants stick with the bagels.

What a delicious spot! I always rave about this place when I come. Service is great, fast, seating is available both indoors and+ outdoors, their menu offers a vast selection of bagels, smoothies, coffee and other baked goods. I will keep coming back here and recommending it to everyone who's craving a bagel!

First time here since ownership change. Our cashier was polite, and table service for dine-in orders was a nice plus. Items hanging from the ceiling blocking the view of the menu board on the wall was curious. The wait at our table for our food was double what it should have been in my opinion, one of those instances where one begins to wonder if our order was lost. For the most part we enjoyed our breakfast sandwiches, however they would REALLY benefit from two things: 1. Bagels were pretty dry and need butter or something added prior to assembling the sandwich. 2. Scrambled eggs were plentiful, but bland. I'd suggest adding diced onions or scallions and some spices before scrambling. The low prices were very refreshing in today's environment where most restaurant breakfasts push $20 per person. We will return with high hopes for some minor improvements.

Busy morning but I got my bagel within 5 minutes. I was on a lunch break so I was pressed for time. I enjoyed the tasty salmon and the smoothie. It needed a crunch so the lettuce, tomato, and red onion was a healthy option. I came back the next day and got a bagel egg sandwich with cheese and bacon. So delicious. Very pricey but it was recommended by a local and was worth it. I will get my coworkers the bakers dozen deal next. I think it was a good price (:

I am officially addicted to Nekter Juice Bar. There, I said it…read more The bowls are insanely good. My personal obsession is the peanut butter & jelly bowl -- it's basically perfection in a cup. Think: creamy, protein-packed peanut butter chia pudding, fresh fruit smoothies layered on top, sweet diced strawberries, crunchy granola, and then those dreamy drizzles of peanut butter and jelly tying it all together. It's the kind of thing you start craving at random times of day. My family is equally hooked -- the dragon fruit bowl and protein power bowl are constant requests, and the smoothies are consistently delicious across the board. Everything about this place is amazing... except the wait time. And I say that with love. It honestly reminds me of Gott's Roadside back in the day -- when you'd stand in line forever and still think, "Worth it." Same energy here. We've timed it: about 17 minutes for a single bowl when it's empty, and yes, we've waited over an hour at 3pm for a couple smoothies. True story. So here's the deal: Come patient. Or order ahead. Or just mentally prepare yourself... because once you've had these bowls, you're coming back no matter how long it takes. Totally worth it. Every single time.

We had the Dragon Bowl and the Super Greens, and both tasted great. I especially liked the freshness of the Dragon Bowl. The Super Greens bowl was satisfying and filling. I added peanut butter, which ended up being a bit much with all the other flavors, but I do generally love peanut butter in my bowls.

Too bad we have a full schedule and planned a great lunch and dinner (well dinner was just okay...). FYI, you have to go to the seafood department to order your oysters. And on Fridays, it can be a long wait, so plan accordingly. Still good service. Service at the seafood department seemed VERY good; well we are in Napa. Decent local selection of beers. Decent selection of wines (unlike Trader Joes next door). Again, we are in Napa! Atmosphere - Nice, decent size location; see pictures. Plenty of indoor or outdoor seating. Plenty of mall parking. Open 7 days a week from 8am to 9pm. Service - Always good, no matter how busy or not they are. Thank you. Price - Above average, they do not have the nickname "Whole Paycheck" for no reason, lol. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1980. I have watched you evolve since 1989 when you first came to Palo Alto, CA to what you are today!! Keep up all the good work. 2017 - Amazon acquired. Please keep working on lowering all your prices. :)

I tried the viral cookie butter latte recently and it was so sweet and TBH not good, I could only tolerate a few sips before throwing it out. I had the same experience with their Chantilly latte last year. People rave about both so maybe it's just me? Maybe it's just my taste buds.

It's absolutely amazing, very fruity and sweet! Not to mention it's sorbet, so it's dairy free! I would HIGHLY recommend this small business that opened in 2010 at Bel Aire Plaza. They're a self-serve froyo and sorbet shop with plenty of toppings and nice seating available to enjoy your frozen treat! We'll definitely be making return visits, our next trip to Napa! Disappointing pricing policy - won't be back unless it changes…read more My wife had been telling me how much she enjoyed this place, so I finally brought the family in for our first visit. The frozen yogurt itself was decent, and my family really liked their treats. Unfortunately, the actual experience left a very sour taste in my mouth. I was highly insulted to find out that Yo'Belle charges customers more if they choose to pay with a credit card. Their signs claim a +4% difference, which is incredibly steep. As someone who runs my own small, family-owned business, I find this practice outdated and frustrating in this day and age. In my own business, I prefer credit cards. The actual merchant fees are usually around 2.5%, and paying that small fee is well worth avoiding the extra time, effort, and risk it takes for employees to count cash, balance a drawer, and handle bank deposits (not to mention bank cash fees). Penalizing customers for using modern payment methods feels like a lazy way to pass on the cost of doing business. It's annoying and insulting. My family and I will not be returning to Yo'Belle unless this policy is changed.
