This gourmet grocery spot also came highly recommended and was a fun reason to come into the market. They have tons of free parking outside. The grocer is essentially in the center of the market, with shelves and fridges all around almost mixing into the other restaurant stands. They had fresh local produce, plus delicious looking foods. Prices were reasonable for the quality. I stopped in to get a special brewery's beers (Hanabi Lagers) that aren't widely available and were priced lower than other stores. My son ordered a smoothie. While he was waiting, I went to LoveSki to place my order. After getting my order, I went back over to Hudson's assuming his smoothie would be in-hand. I was very surprised that he was still waiting. Turns out, his smoothie was sitting right there on the counter for who knows how long. He was the only one waiting (no other customers at the time). You'd think the person making the smoothie would have said something or let him know that his smoothie was ready. For a 16-ounce smoothie at $12.50, I was disappointed at the lack of communication and customer service. I felt bad for my son, too. He did enjoy the smoothie, at least -- he said it tasted good, though it wasn't the best smoothie he's ever had. At that price point, I would have expected way better on taste, and also service. Hudson G&G is an oasis inside the Oxbow Public Market! I mean truly an *oasis* because if you've been indulging in various delicious food and wine throughout Napa, or even within the Oxbow itself, this place provides the "magic potions" or healing elixirs to reset your body and quench your thirst! The juice/smoothie bar itself has been a lifesaver on a few Napa visits now. My hubby and I love their Açaí Bowl! Sure the cost is higher than average, but what in Napa isn't? Eddy's Fiber Pants smoothie (which I initially read as Eddy's Fiber Plants) is also a delicious, nutrient-packed, refreshing green smoothie that we practically inhaled right outside on a recent warm summer day in late June. My husband jokes "you know when we go to Oxbow, we're going to do a circuit of the stores and just end up at Hudson getting chocolate and broccolini." He's not wrong! Hudson occupies a significant portion of the Oxbow and for good reason- they're amazing. I love the Oxbow and have loved it long before they were such a tourist destination in the valley. Hudson has slowly expanded to multiple stalls, and does everything from grocery, to food, wine tasting, and more. Every time I'm here, I find some delicious or fantastic find that I definitely can't find elsewhere. The selection is marvelous, super high quality, and definitely more than a little bougie if I'm being honest. Their chocolate selection is really good, especially their Pump Street and Thomas Keller ones. Definitely not to be missed. The most recent time I was there, I found some gorgeous rhubarb that was so delicious looking, I just wanted to bite into it right there in the store. I also found some black sesame tahini, which I've never seen or heard of anywhere, even other specialty grocers. Downsides to this place are definitely the crowds, because if you're after something specific, you'll have to fight the tourists to get to it. This includes parking which can be a total nightmare. As expected as well, you're going to pay a pretty penny for the items, but they're worth it because they fill a niche that has been absent since Dean and Deluca up the valley closed. I will definitely be returning, and not just for "chocolate and veggies" as my hubby says...(although I will definitely be getting chocolate and veggies, tbh). read more

FRESH JUICE WITH CBD, you can choose to add CBD powder to whatever juice you order for $3, it definitely had more me relaxed and in a good mood for a couple hours so worth trying. I had it in the Green Goddess. One part of this is a produce and small grocery store, right across is where they make juice. You'll often see staff walk over to grab missing juice ingredients or washing vegetables during down times. The grocery store has some canned and dried goods that would make for an awesome picnic. I ordered from this location twice, & both times the customer service was amazing! The first time I came I was stuck between a few smoothies, & the worker pointed out multiple orders & answered my questions with ease (which ones are most popular, which ones are more of a meal replacement, which ones have a sweeter/more dessertlike feel, etc). I ended up ordering a Pitaya Power since I was craving something fruitier, and it was delicious. The second time, I was hesitant to order Alma Love at the worker's recommendation, and she sensed it. She added raspberries & vanilla whey free of cost to my drink since she said they were very good add ons! Much respect to her. Both times I've ordered from here I've gotten little fruit chunks that haven't gotten fully blended, though. I docked a star for that, but you can see the workers cutting the fruit themselves hard at work. Props to them, but maybe management could invest in some more powerful blenders (or blend for longer). I know that it's Napa & cost is of little consequence, but this is one of the things I purchased that I didn't regret. read more

Went here for the first time today. Was craving a healthy smoothie. I did read what the ingredients were but not sure what I was expecting. When I think of smoothie, think Earthbar in Berkeley where I usually get my smoothies. When my order came up it looked just tad like a smoothie but I guess cause there's ice blended in it. As I was drinking it, I'm thinking to myself, this is pretty much just juice with ice. As I got home and finished it, I came to the conclusion that this is not a smoothie. The texture and consistency is just like juice. $12 for smoothie/juice Prob never again. I would rather pay $12 for an actual smoothie. After spending a day wine tasting, I wanted to get something to make me feel revived and rejuvenated. AKA I wanted to treat my body like a temple! So that's where Hudson Greens and Goods came into the picture. I ordered a Pitaya Power smoothie that was both filling and also so refreshing! It made me feel ready to take on the rest of my day. The employees were also kind during my visit. The smoothie was a bit pricey (around $11.50 for a 16 ounce), but since it's fresh I found it to be truly worth it. Definitely would visit again. Hudson Greens&Goods replaces the small grocery that was once in the corner of Oxbow Market. They have a great deal less produce, and the prices are much higher. While its predecessor had kombucha from Middletown, locally grown heirloom tomatoes, persimmons in autumn... Hudson lacks such variety. If you want a bottle of Sriracha, it's cheaper at the nearby Walmart. They also have fewer local products- they have Late July crackers from Barnstable (Massachusetts), along with Ninkasi beers&Rogue Ales (from Oregon) The Bay Area isn't exactly lacking in local food products. Their strength is in their salad/sandwich/juice bar. It's the better half. read more

The location is perfect - right inside the main entrance of Oxbow Public Market. The staff was helpful if not overly friendly. I admit that I have never shopped in their grocery section because quite frankly the prices are ridiculously high. I can understand why a tourist visiting Napa may not want to have to track down a grocery store to get a few items. And Hudsons Greens & Goods has decided to take full advantage of that! I ordered the Fiberpants smoothie and the flavor was what I expected though not my favorite. Their 8 oz smoothie is $1-2 more than a 16 oz smoothie at Nekter, Jamba Juice or Whole Foods. Again, taking advantage of the tourists. They can certainly run their business plan in whatever manner they see fit but since I'm a local with more affordable options that taste just as good (or better) I don't see an overpriced smoothie in my future - near or far! read more

Man the produce is amazing when consumed in its home state out here, in any form... the avocado based green juice/smoothie I consumed each morning from the juice bar here whilst in town recently was simply the most amazing green juice and/or smoothie and quite possibly the best all time non alcoholic drink I have ever had anywhere. The vividness and potency of flavor and, even more so evident freshness of every ingredient, made any green juice I would ever have (usually at a few dollars more than the already high price here) back in NYC seem like watching a prototype era black and white television to a state of the art 4k or whatever the most advanced and high definition television technology is cutting edge today. I'm not sure if this place is standalone or a representation of a larger chain of some kind but this one is located inside the somehow still impressive Oxbow Public market, a spotless and bright public market cum upscale food court. That's really something considering to say we are at the point of over-saturation when it comes to hipster-fancified food-halls across the nation (if not world), would be the understatement of the decade. read more
