They really make anyone a barber these days. Just give a man clippers and boom, you're legit. The older man cannot for the life of you understand what you want for a haircut unless you show a photo/video. And when provided, he just clips all the hair off like a regular skin fade and side part cut. This business also isn't true to their prices. One day I was charged $45 for a haircut that I always get and then today I got charged $60 for just a cleanup, not even the full service. What a scam honestly. Also the place is either always loud or they have dogs in the shop. Nothing against dogs but its up to you what you want to show up to for a "professional barber." I DO NOT recommend, stay away. They will mess up your haircut and I have to now wear a hat for the next 2 weeks because of it. Don't get scammed. read more

He completely ignored my requests for cutting the top of my hair with scissors, as well as just doing a slight trim. Terrible experience. Tried this place for the 1st time since it's so close to our house. The male barber was so harsh with my son. Moved his head without any regard at all. And the hair cut was just terrible. I asked how much the hair cut was before coming in, they said 25. They had credit card logos all over their counter. But they failed to tell you that they will charge an additional 5 dollars if you use your card. So 60 dollars for two young boy hair cuts that were just terrible. read more

Being a woman walking into a barber shop is kind of like those movie scenes where someone shocking walks in, the music record scratches to a halt, everyone--staff and customers alike--immediately stop talking and stare. It takes a lot to make me uncomfortable, but this comes pretty close. Once someone has me take a seat, they don't always talk to me while they cut. I get it, you don't think that women belong in barber shops. It's too bad I don't trust non-barbers with my undercut. (I've tried too many times.) Enter: Golden Barber Shop. I have been here twice now and seen 2 different guys. Walking into this place, I have been warmly greeted, openly welcomed, and treated like I should come hang out with them every day. Yesterday, I saw Jose for the first time and he not only fixed my slightly lopsided undercut (from seeing a non-barber), but gave me a well-done, clean cut design. 1. price should be more like 10$ or less. Avoid the young bug figured Vietnamese barber usually in the back. I'm usually not a yelper and this fool must've tried hard to give me the worst haircut of my life and I cut own my hair multiple times and done way better and didn't lose a single dollar. 2. I ended up paying 5$ more? He charged me 15$ but I'm assuming there's some credit card machine fee he never explained I had to ask why he's charging me 15$ when there's are bigass signs saying 15$? I forgot my contacts that day so I was wearing glasses obviously I'm gonna need to have to take it off during my cut, towards the end of the cut, before I got a chance to analyze my hair and how it looks, he immediately wipes a disgusting amount of suavecito in his hands and seriously styles my hair like you would do when you first learned how to gel a shitty prebuscent fauxhawk. Then finally when I do get to put my glasses on,even through the masking shitty combover he spent 10 min on, I saw all the flaws of this 40-1 hour 15$ waste of my time and money, 4. So naturally I get home to shower off this shitty crap cut with crap styling I get and let's talk hygienics, how hard is it to blow off hair particles in visible areas? Immediately I noticed extreme amounts of hair all over my forehead and facial area with pomade just over it. When the the wet hair dries, I noticed above my forehead a huge chunk of hair unevenly just missing and literally like 4 hair strains that weren't even cut off but just left there. 5. The chair I happened to sit on is broken(just my luck?) this giant coming in about 6'1 or above has to constantly grab my head and push it downwards so he can see it comfortably while I'm there breaking my neck worried I might get a shitty cut just gambling on that. I brought my 9 year old son here, I'm not happy to have paid $20 for a cut and u can still see how it's not blended. Definitely NOT worth $20 for a kids hair cut what a rip off! I normally pay $13 for my sons hair cut and they do an amazing job!!! Lesson learned, never wait for a Sunday to get a haircut or you'll end up at a place like this just to spend more then what the cut was worth!!!!!! Went in this morning, the young man at the end called me over right away and got right to cutting my hair. He was real friendly and unlike other barbers I'm used to did not stop cutting to talk to other barbers, talk on the phone, vape, order food, etc. Took about half the time that I'm used to for my 2 on the side and 5 on the top (tapered) and yet he still blended the sides better than other barbers I've gone to. It was $25 but I've paid more down the street for a cut that either wasn't blended properly or required a two hour wait or appointment. Guess I'll be going here for now on. read more

As my first review, I'm disappointed with this place that I had to write this. It's actually $20 for fades, sharp cuts, etc. Plus I asked the lady to shave off my beard and mustache and she charged me an extra $10 so I ended up paying $30! She was grinding my chin with a wahl machine and didn't consider using a blade and cream to finish it. Never thought I'd be experiencing such a rip off but I didn't want to lash out on the store. This appears to be a pretty normal little barber shop in a Home Depot parking lot. My husband got a buzz cut yesterday, maybe 3/4" trim. When the lady was done, she said the cut would be $20. When my husband questioned the price, she threatened to call the police. We recently moved to the area and my husband gets hair cuts about once a month so he was looking for his new place. Easily the worst hair cut I have ever received. I was going to write a full on review, but if you look at Daniel S.'s review on here, it 100% sums it up. That exact same thing happened to me and it must have been the same guy. I had to pay $17 for an hour long hair cut (and my hair is not hard at all to cut), he left hair literally everywhere on my face and neck and clothes even. He put an absurd amount of gel into my hair that just looked and felt horrible even though I told him I don't wear gel...Please please please do yourself a favor and NEVER go here. read more

So, I've been going to this place for about a year now and every time I go in here everyone is really nice and there's always like 3-4 barbers and it's always clean and like I said, they're pretty nice. But today I went in there to get a haircut for my 2 boys and at the end of it I give them my card and they charge me $40 for a 12 year old's haircut and a 4 year old's haircut. Now I've noticed that every time I go in there like for the past 5 or 6 times, they keep charging me a little bit more everytime. Now it's costing me like $80+tips for me and my 2 boys. It wouldn't be so bad if the cuts were legit but the last couple of times I've gotten bad cuts(me about 3 weeks ago and my youngest son today). If the cuts were on point everytime I probably wouldn't mind the price as long as it doesn't keep going up. So I didn't notice how bad my son's hair was until I got home so I decided to call and ask for kids prices. As soon as they figured out that I was calling because I wasn't happy, they hung up on me. I called again and the same. The third time I actually got them to explain the pricing for kids and I guess you have to measure your kids hair so you can know how much it's going to be. They got pretty upset with me in the end and even threw in my face that I only have him a $2 tip. I tried to explain to them that I wasn't happy with my son's hair and he began to throw a tantrum about me going to pick up my $2 right now. The main guy doesn't speak very good English so it was kinda hard to understand him but he was upset. Oh well on to the next one I guess. I can't keep getting robbed at this place just cause their son tells me to look on YouTube and check the prices. It just doesn't feel right. read more
