I've lived by this shopping center for 10 yrs. We never really come to this end but we did this day. My son has settled for his cuts but I have been quietly searching for a new barber for him. As we were leaving another store, Jacob came out and gave us a flyer. Like a blessing in disguise. Very nice, respectful and my son was down to give him a try. He didn't disappoint. When you walk in don't be alarmed by the cute puppy welcoming you. Nice music playing, restrooms available, vending machine. All the barbers seems very chill, haircut was sharp! But Robert did an amazing job making sure he felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire process. He took the time to talk to him, reassure him, and move at a pace that didn't overwhelm him. It's hard to find barbers who are patient and understanding, especially with kids who have special needs, but Robert exceeded all expectations. Tradition barbershop is by far the worst barbershop I ever went too. I went for a walk in and this dude said he was going to take care of me. Little did I know he would ruin my whole head for at least 2 months. A low fade doesn't mean to scalp my entire sides off!! I totally got a super super high fade. I told them to cut the top off so it can lay perfectly flat but he barely even snipped the top !! Now I look goofy and I'm going to be wearing a hoodie for at least 2 months !! I was looking around for a barber and glad I found this place. They have an online platform to allow you to book appointment slots ahead of time with any of the staff. I usually don't like walk ins because the wait time can vary so much, so definitely appreciate the appointment style. I had my first haircut here with Oscar and the service was great. I felt like he put a tremendous amount of time with my fade and gave me the exact cut that I wanted. I would definitely come back in the future! This is the second time I have brought my boys here for a hair cut and will continue. (2 and 4 year old) previous spot down the street was great, but I always had an issue with the boys crying and screaming through the whole thing. 1st cut I saw the change in their behavior and 2nd time it was a smooth process for both.
