The garage has been broken for ages according to the neighbor. We inherited this. I cannot stand our "Home Services" agent for the complete lack of care or concern. I've been nice, I've been mean. He is irresponsive and slow in repair, disrespectful and made up lies to cover his mistake. Here are the evidence. 1. In spring 2017, there was a plumbing leak where water was pouring from the ceiling in my master bedroom. I called his emergency number, nobody picked up the phone. I emailed him the photo and videos of the pour, he didn't reply until two days later. Don't forget, that was an active leak of pouring water, not slow dripping. However, he claimed and boasted he can be reached 24/7 is emergency maintenance. His emergency number never ever worked, so as his regular number, at least in my attempts to reach him. 2. He had my name spelled wrong in all account statements and emails for 3.5 years. When I called it out, he did not apologize, didn't acknowledge the mistake, but lied by saying the wrong name is on the title of the property. The title I have clearly shows the correct spelling of my name. I asked him to show me the title that has wrong name, he didn't reply. Stay away from him.

One of my biggest concerns has been ongoing water intrusion, moisture, and mold-related issues at the property. Had I known what I would ultimately be dealing with, I would have made a very different decision. Throughout my tenancy, I have repeatedly dealt with water-damage and repair issues. Repairs have not always been completed in what I consider a reasonable or timely manner, and some promised work has still not been completed. I have documentation of my communications, repair concerns, water-intrusion issues, and agreements made regarding the condition of the property. Communication has been another major problem. In my experience, I have received information that I later found to be inconsistent with what was actually happening or with other communications I received. I have also felt pressured to sign documents while dealing with unresolved problems at the property. The entire experience has left me feeling that protecting the tenant was not a priority. What makes this especially disappointing is that tenants depend on property management companies to be transparent about a property's condition, respond promptly when serious problems arise, and communicate honestly when something goes wrong. I am now dealing with the consequences of issues that I believe should have been properly disclosed and addressed before and during my tenancy. There is much more to my experience than I can reasonably include in one review. I have kept records and documentation of what has occurred. If you are considering renting a property managed by this company, I strongly encourage you to thoroughly inspect the property, ask detailed questions about any history of leaks, water intrusion, moisture or mold, get representations and repair promises in writing, read every document carefully before signing, and keep copies of all communications. We found a home in Monrovia and loved it. The seller's realtor ended up representing us too. What a fiasco that was! Apparently the house had already been been technically sold and we were merely a back up offer in case financing for the original buyer didn't go through. We didn't learn that for several weeks. Based on a friend's referral we contacted Diane. What a completely different experience from the other realtors. Like night and day. Diane helped us narrow our home selection by asking the right questions and understanding our needs. We searched for several months and Diane remained patient and informative. Even when I became stressed by the process Diane helped talk me through it. Yesterday we closed on our new home. It was the easiest home purchase I have ever had. Diane met us at escrow as we signed our papers. I've never had a realtor do that before. She has a great abundance of connections in the community for repairs. Diane was even willing to help me search for more eco- friendly options on the termite front. I really appreciated that! PS We used East West Bank for financing the mortgage and they also were also easy to work with. Much better than the big banks that sell off your mortgage the day after the paperwork goes through.
