Staffers were friendly, attentive, and didn't give me a hard time about my needs and wants (no salt on patty, extra teriyaki sauce, and extra ranch on the side. Food: 1) Teriyaki Beef and Chicken Plate (with a side of avocado): Order ittttt!! Greatest idea everrrrr! Everything about this plate was so yum! They beef and chicken were well marinated and tender. The teri sauce was great, because it wasn't that salty! The avocado was the icing on th cake for me. Tip: Mix everything up and go to town on it! I been wanting to try this place for a good while now, so I finally came in. I ordered a Medium Teriyaki Chicken bowl (yes there's sizes small-large), 5piece gyoza , and a small fountain drink. The chicken was ok, it can be better , the rice needs more flavor as well. The gyoza are good, they are tasty. The worst I have had, the chicken was white not fully cooked, I had to finish cooking it at home. Just went safe and got their teriyaki chicken + beef plate which comes over rice and a salad. Good deal if you like salads on the side. The flavor was so yummy and tasty. didn't expect much but their sauce was really good. Loved how they give complimentary peppers which I LOVE!! Under a coworker's recommendation, I decided to give this place a go. For starters, it's not as eye-catching as you would think. There is another burger joint down the street, and if you go further you'll hit In-N-Out. I would always pass by Golden Bowl on my way back to work from In-N-Out. Btw, they have bottled drinks off to the far left. The cooking process was fairly quick. I was on a timed lunch and when I left I still had time to eat comfortably. I'm not sure if it's the grilled chicken with a smoky flavor or if they actually coated the chicken with teriyaki sauce, but either way it was DELICIOUS! The fries were meh. I've had better, but they weren't terrible either. But the meal was completely satisfying. They give you a nice big piece of chicken breast, coupled with mayo, lettuce, tomato, and pickles - I pick out mine. Don't judge me. This place is such an amazing hole in the wall!! I usually drive to a place like this one about 30 minutes away from me because I love their teriyaki. I came across this place when I was driving down the street and decided to check it out. Parking is a little annoying as they don't have many spaces and the street parking is full. So be patient. I went inside and ordered a small chicken teriyaki bowl with avocado (~$8.50). When ordering I noticed a lot of people heading to the back to grab drinks. So I walked back to check it out and they have such a variety of beverages! I would have never though for this hole in a wall to be so spacious and have such a variety of things inside.
