Had heard a lot about the Flying Dutchman burger where they use grilled onions in place of buns. Sounded so good I had to try it. I mean when the ketchup comes out to fill your container under pressure, what's not to like. Double meat and cheese with a drink and fries it was under $10. Everyone working here was friendly, cheerful, and upbeat. A welcome change from the usual where no one seems to like their job or want to be at work. A lot of the tables were needing to be wiped down. That I had not seen in this franchise but it was very busy. My burger really could have used a lettuce wrap or a knife to cut and eat with a fork. The food is always the way you expected to be and that's that great consistency. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into In-N-Out. This business is just down the street from where we live so it was an opportunity when our grandchildren came in to try it out. The well done fries were pretty good, I enjoy a crispier fry for sure.. they weren't as crispy as I'd typically like. I love the house sauce though so I'd go back just to dip my fries in it. Fast drive through and inside service, even compared to the usual high standards for In-N-Out. As far as food; it's standard In-N-Out. High quality fast food made to order. If you don't know, here are some basic tips; 1- the fries are made fresh from raw potatoes in store... never frozen and no other ingredients. They use sunflower oil to fry them. But they also don't add salt, so be prepared to add some yourself. Also because it's flash fried fresh potatoes cut super thin, they don't travel well. Eat them quick! 2- the star of the show is the burger. The standard menu shows you three options; the hamburger, cheeseburger, and double double cheeseburger. Standard toppings (that are included unless you hold them!) are special sauce, lettuce, tomato, and raw onion. 3- the better options imho are on the not-so-secret menu. It's not posted in store or on the drive through but it is now listed on the website. Many unique items including my favorite, 'animal style'. 4- a true secret not listed anywhere; you can get your fries 'animal style'! Cheese, fried onions, and special sauce on top!!! read more

We went for lunch yesterday and had the biggest disappointment ever. Please understand, we have been enjoying Inn-n- out for decades so this wasn't a one-off visit. The fries seemed to have been waiting a long time to be served. They were barely lukewarm and limp. When an employee asked how our lunch was, I told him they were the worst fries we'd EVER had at at Inn-n-out he said "sorry 'bout that" and walked on. Yes, I should have taken them back to the counter but then we noticed how thin the burger was. 1/8" would be over-estimating the size. Maybe we'd never noticed before since, unlike yesterday, there is usually cheese covering it. I opted for just a hamburger, no cheese. This was our last visit. Sadly, the burgers and fries here used to be great. Other fast food places have been raising prices. It seems this company has decided to save by just spending less on meat. The meat patties most likely are cooked in advance for an anticipated wave of customers. Almost all fast food burger places do this and have been doing this for decades. Never experienced that with In-N-Out until recently. This is the third time in a row that this has happened to me at this location. My wife, who usually loves their burgers, said that her burger was disgusting. She ate two bites and threw it in the trash. My son and I pretty much agreed with her, but we are gluttons and will eat a boiled rhino foot if that's what we got to eat. Not sure what is going on with this place, but we are done eating at this location for sure. Additionally, the restaurant wasn't very busy, nor was the drive thru. Took them 18 minutes to prepare and ready three burgers. If you want to chance eating here, ensure you request a fresh patty, otherwise you might end up with some cold dry nasty meat on your sandwich. read more

I really liked the non greasy fries. The beef patty in my cheeseburger however, didn't meet my expectations. I know I didn't order a kid's burger, but I almost asked "where's the beef?". Guess next time I should order a double meat burger to get a adequate size beef patty? But then it wouldn't be a good value compared to other chain fast food burger restaurants. As usual, the fries didn't make it home, but we munched on them on the way. The animal fries had a texture similar to cardboard which was expected. The burger started out good but the meat was really undercooked and I don't eat fast food meat not cooked through so I ended up giving a burger patties to my dogs.
