Total spent: $38.66 (pay first) 2 Lunch Buffet + 2 Drinks (refillable, have to ask waiter to bring it to you) Value: 2/10 Food quality: 2/10 Food variety and options: 3/10 Service: 2/10 slow and careless Ambiance: 4/10 Restroom: 5/10 Tip 1: Remind you, drinks are extra charge for $3.29 for each person, I do not recommend it. Tip 2: All the meats are dry, the only meat you can have is sausage. We were at the Aurora location around 2:30pm on Wednesday, and the cashier was giving no greeting, no smiling, no eye contact, no instructions, and not even attempting to explain how their buffet worked. Either she is new or has not received any training, no one take us to the table, service was very slow, it took 20 minutes for us to receive our drinks, most of the food was dry or overcooked. Restroom are acceptable. Knowing the drink is extra charged but limited options, definitely not worth for the second visit.

Great variety and value. I went for the senior early bird meal. 2-4p for seniors 60yrs or older. Includes drink. Something for everyone. Fried catfish and carne asada are really good. Great carrot cake and desserts.

I absolutely love Golden Corral. It's the best fucking restaurants ever made I would cream every time I come here.

No matter which golden corral you go to around the United States, like we have been to the unit in Anchorage Alaska, Seattle wa.Dallas TX Charleston SC, here in CO, Billings Mt and Idaho. I can always know I can sit down to a great pot roast and fried chicken. The staff is friendly and fair priced.

Clearly it's not the first time this has happened with the same PERSON (lady on the right) who refused to give us service & stole our money

I love a good deviled egg but this one was just okay, it lacked any flavor. I also saw people rave about the cinnamon roll but it was just okay and dry. Steak and eggs were simple and classic but not warrant the price point. A lot of the items on the menu were a bit pricey for size/taste/quality but for a special occasion or date night could be worth it. First, wife is a vegetarian and they had no mains other than Mac and cheese for her. She ordered the salad without chicken which was $25. They knocked it down to $22 after I asked why it was the same price without meat, which still seemed like a lot for a salad with no protein. Kids' Mac and cheese was not the same receipe as last time; it was a different noodle and seemed to be needing some salt as it was pretty bland. Unlike our last visit they did not include an ice cream for dessert. My fried chicken and waffles was ok--the breading was a bit soggy though and I much preferred the Nashville hot chicken from my last visit. If I'm being honest this was closer to a 2 star experience, but with how good the last visit was, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt they maybe tonight they were just off. That said--need one vegetarian entree for the menu.

As a Milwaukee transplant, I had been searching for a good soul food spot since moving to Colorado. The first time I came in, I told Mr. Swirk that if the food was good, I'd be back. Since then, I've returned three times--and I plan on coming back again. My favorite order is the catfish sandwich it comes with a side. The fish comes out a beautiful golden color and is served with lettuce, tomato, onion, tartar sauce, and hot sauce. The catfish is battered perfectly--crispy, flavorful, and not overly salty. Every bite was delicious. The menu offers a great variety of soul food favorites. I noticed greens, sweet potatoes, red beans and rice, shrimp, and several other comforting dishes. There was something for everyone. What really stands out is the customer service. Mr. Swirk always acknowledges customers when they walk in. Whether he's busy or not, he lets you know he'll be with you shortly or takes your order right away. That personal touch makes you feel welcome. As for the atmosphere, it's a good old-fashioned soul food dive--the kind of place where the focus is on great food, friendly service, and feeling at home. No fancy frills, just good cooking and good people. If you're looking for authentic soul food and perfectly fried catfish, I highly recommend Swirk Soul Food. Thank you, Mr. Swirk. I'll definitely be back. Come hungry and leave happy. Tell him the Milwaukee lady sent you.

Not sure if you can make reservations, but the hubby and I walked-in without one. We chose to sit at the bar. They have an extensive drink list btw. If I was feeling extra fun, I would've ordered an espresso martini. Now to the main course, I opted for something different, "the K-Mack" which includes a Korean fried buttermilk chicken with a cabbage slaw and green onions. It was so good. My mouth is watering thinking about it again haha. Aside from our delicious brunch, the restaurant vibe screams Denver. Lots of decor, plants, art, different kind of seating. It's fun. The owner was so nice and down to earth. Mr. Henry was very welcoming; he felt like family. My friend and I started with the boudin balls, which tasted more like salmon croquettes, which would have been amazing as croquettes, but as boudin balls, we did not taste rice much at all, and no sauce was served with them. I was desiring some Crawfish ettouffe and they were completely out of that, so i settle for the pasta monica with shrimp, which looked nice, but was way too salty to enjoy. I tried to push through but if I had continue to, it would have burned my tongue. The po boys was great 10/10 the fried catfish was 10/10. fries was 20/10 perfect crisp and softness fillings. hurricane drink was a nice strong & sweetness, a ball was drop when salt was rim vs sugar, but nonetheless it was close to the best. I got it to go (UberEats if being honest) and the to go container was packed to the brim with bourbon chicken over rice with two sides. I chose the spicy noodles which are spaghetti with a spicy sauce (maybe ketchup based) and cabbage. They were both very tasty and the cabbage gave the plate a semblance of health (does have Vitamin C). The chicken is ridiculously good cooked grilled and charred. The sauce from the chicken gets onto the king sized bed of rice and is just divine. One portion will last for two meals in most cases. Can't wait to go back.
