Food is alright,service and management are awful. The reason why I went there was for the yeast rolls,sat there for an hr,out of the yeast rolls. Asked couple employees and I wasn't acknowledged including the manager,wich perhaps thought It wasn't a big deal. THIS LOCATION IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! The food area wasn't kept that clean. Been here twice and the staff is very rude and act like doing their job is an annoyance. Been here twice and the first time, on the way out, the man who bussed the table told me I'm not allowed to drink from my 2 years of age child's free drink even though we were allowed to take the drink. We were literally leaving and he basically said, drink it outside and was very rude. Then the second time we were there, the hostess was rude when I asked for a veteran discount and acted like I was lying until I showed my ID. Literally no customer service skills at all. We also had that same rude ass bussboy grown ass man. He literally made us uncomfortable by eying us as we ate, rarely came to clear away plates, and served everyone around us several times for their drinks but literally ignored us the entire time. Golden Corral, I went today 6/27/26, and they charged me for my great grandchild who is 3 years old, it's free for 3 and under. The manger came ask me where she was and when he saw her, he said she doesn't look like she is 3 and they would not take it off the bill. So, he was calling me a lair. I told him to refund my money, and I will be calling the corporate office in the morning. These restaurants have lost their mines, treating people like we do matter, without us they don't work. Do not eat here.... I watched the manager force an elderly white man move from his table . Then sat a huge black women at the same table. Hitting on her the whole time. The last 3 of 5 times ate here had diarrhea within hours. I just tried to eat there today. The food was horrible. Even the salad and baked potatoes were rotten. I can't afford to miss a meal , but I had to walk out after only a few bites . Come here all the time and never have a problem with this but my sister had gotten a raspberry tea and I wanted to get a sip and accidentally left my straw in it then the server came and told us we couldn't share a drink which is so weird. I'm extremely disappointed and heartbroken by how we were treated at this restaurant. We came in with our special needs kids, just hoping to enjoy a meal like anyone else -- but instead, we were met with discrimination and disrespect. One of the staff members accused us of not paying for a drink, even though we had. To make matters worse, he put his fingers inside our drink while trying to prove a point. Not only is that disgusting and unsanitary, but it's also dehumanizing. Shortly after, we were asked to leave. It was clear we weren't welcome, and it felt like we were being targeted simply because we were with children who have special needs. Good Day all. You must read in its entirety to get the full experience. Please forgive me - this IS the short version! It occurred on Mother's Day, 5/11/25 (of ALL days) I was invited to attend a gathering at GC (Golden Corral) this particular extremely busy afternoon. First, I called the GC store 6 times before arriving at the location - no one ever answered the phone (OK, a busy day). When I arrived, I begged the manager to allow me to sit with my ten-member party which included children; and made arrangements to keep my "To Go" order ($34.32) behind the front counter as I sat at the dining table. While there, I ate NOTHING, drank NOTHING, as GC staff checked every 2 mins to be sure that I didn't. I was finally asked to leave approx. 20 mins after visiting with family. The mgr. told me that I could continue to visit IF I paid an additional $23.99 just to sit there. Since I didn't want to pay more than the $34.32 I'd already paid, I went to the front counter to retrieve the packaged food that was waiting there behind the counter. That same mgr. REFUSED to give me the food that I purchased, saying that I didn't ask for it properly, the way he wanted me to ask for it. GC's entire staff refused to give me my purchase and told me that I had to leave without it. I waited at the counter, as we went back and forth in this CROWDED (Mother's Day) GC restaurant. I requested my PAID FOR food for over an hour, to no avail. They just WOULD NOT give me the food that I purchased. By this time, it was utter chaos, and the other patrons waiting in line had begun to chime in, also advising the staff to just give me my food so that I could depart. No deal! They were adamant! Finally I DID leave as they had requested (without my purchase). As I waited outside the restaurant, after a horrifying and shameful debacle, a member of my party went back in to retrieve my order, and they too were told they COULD NOT have the item that I paid $34.32 for. P.S. While there, I was cursed by atleast 3 of the staff members (yep, they used the F-bomb) as they interjected their "take" on things. Additional info: The POLICE were called to the store over this! Since I did nothing wrong, the police suggested that I contact the GC corporate offices to get resolution, as it was a civil matter and was out of their hands. So without delay, I reached out to GC Corporate offices. To my surprise, I HAVE NOT heard back from them either. I have been calling and leaving a message every day, 2 or 3 times a day since the ordeal. All I've been able to do is leave a message, requesting a refund for services NOT rendered. Golden Corral does not deserve the business they do. This patron is "former" forever! I wouldn't eat there if I were you. Today my friends and I came in with my service animal...we followed the law she had her service vest with visible license on, leash on and was confronted by a manager (didn't get his name (he was older and bald)) he asked what type of service she does didn't like my answer so he asked us to leave. Yes I might have said some stuff to him but that excuse him from asking my friends and I and my service animal to leave. While outside a veteran came out because he was asked to leave because he asked for a veteran's discount. So someone who defended our country was also treated unfairly. The worst restaurant ever, especially the one in Mississippi. It is very racist. Last night I went there to eat with my family. There was an employee who when she saw us enter started treating us badly just because we are Muslims and I have a son with special needs. He ran and entered the restaurant before me and sat with my family. When I went to the cashier to pay for me and him, she said he should be in front of me. I told her very kindly that he is special needs and that it is difficult for me to bring him here and I will pay him. She refused and spoke to me rudely and threw me out of the store. I left the store and left. After that, they went and threw my family out even though they had not finished the food yet and did not give them back their money and stole it. She spoke badly about my religion and told me that I should return to my country. She scared my children and took pictures of us without our permission. I read prior reviews and that were not good. However, my Grand kids and Niece love that place so I went. We had an amazing experience. Everyone got what they wanted, and the food was good. The cotton candy was a big hit. The Gentleman that bussed the table did a great job and was helpful. the place seemed clean. Ambiance obviously isn't the Brown Palace, but I looked around and everyone was having a good time. We had 8 people, and 3 kids. Definitely, a good place for kids. read more

My roommate & I love going to Golden Corral, at least 3 times a month. Since we are seniors, it's practical, money wise, for us to go late afternoon, for lunch prices. I live in Bellevue Nebraska. The Golden Corral, near me, in Bellevue, has gone down hill, & tanked bad over the past 5 years. We just went yesterday, 08/11/25. I was so excited they brought wings( bone in & boneless), the website & commercials say. Lol, there's a joke, no boneless, no BBQ, just Garlic Parmesan, Hot Sweet Chili, or Buffalo. Like those are the only 3 choices for Sr's!? Trust me I was highly disappointed. Now comes out service. Here's another joke..4:00pm, she takes over our section. She is so busy jibber jabbering & BSing with friends/ or family, two tables over, that another customer came up to her, & said there's 2 gentlemen sitting over there that may need your attention! Lol, she goes over to them, did what small basic stuff she needed to do, came back & stated talking again. Came by our table, asked for refills, I said yes please, ( on my tea), goes back bsing with her family,/ friends. Anybody want to guess where this is going? There are at least 6-8 tables in the area, she took over....ignored so many customers just to talk. This GC, is not worth it, to us anymore. I brought some my family, which was 4 adults and two children, so my 1 year old grandchild could have her very first time at Golden Corral...while getting our plates a tall white man (assuming he is a manager) ran up to the Hispanic man that was cooking the steaks, and yelled at him so loudly it was heard at the salad bar...after screaming at him for putting 2 steaks on a few plates, he then sent him home. I told him I was their mother and he needed to stop screaming at my children...he continued screaming obscenities at and around my children and grandchildren, and then a Mexican woman came out calling us names in Spanish, and telling us to leave and that we were not welcome (not knowing I just stood up for one of her own) and even going to the front of the restaurant to go call the police! I didn't get to try the food. We had 3 adults and 3 children under the age of 5. I thought we would get each child free and was told that to get each child free it needed to be purchased separately. As I read the reviews (yes, I should have done this before eating there) It's only April of 2024 and the number of complaints on their website says everything. I haven't dined here since the new remodel. I really liked the GC on Arapahoe which has since closed. My body wishes that we had not made this decision for an early dinner yesterday. Pros: travel time 7 minutes, diverse selection of food, the bussers in my area were quick to react to clean the tables and seats once the guests have departed, thus helping with the turnover of guests Cons: I tried an array of entrees ( fried shrimp was overcooked, fried catfish was rubbery and over steamed (to keep warm?) etc. (you get the picture) I understand that to appease the different guests palates the food can't be overly seasoned . I go to Golden Corral 3 or 4 times a year for breakfast. Their food I would rate 4 stars; there are always plenty of choices and it is pretty good. Their service is a 2 at best. Today I went in thinking I would have a great meal with wonderful customer service, but instead my child who's on the spectrum, along with myself and my disabled husband was verbally abused, discriminated against by unprofessional managers and register employees, When we arrived at the register a employee asked how many in the party we shared how many and shared that our son is 6 she then stated we need him to say his age my husband then says he's non verbal and autistic she then states I need him to say his age I then step in and say he's on the spectrum and non verbal she then says well I need the child to say his age , at this point my husband is frustrated because even through we shared that he's unable to give her a answer she still demands therefore my husband responds look you're not asking my son F shit she then says we'll you don't need to cure at me , I then asked for the manager thinking he would be more understanding and we will be able to go to our table he arrives and stated she's only doing her job she needs to ask him what his age is we state again he's Autistic man he can't answer we then shared his birthday the manager then says okay and hands us our receipt , as we are walking to the table the manager decided to still instigate the situation due to other customers stated that was wrong of them and he says you guys can leave if you don't like how we handle things here I then state we're not leaving leave us alone we steps away , as we are walking to the food area he then follows us with our child stating if you guys want to start we can start I say dude stop he has autism, I have to speak for him , your customer service is terrible and I start to get my husband and he goes into the kitchen I asked for a refund another manager comes out I express to her that the customer service was terrible, and it's disgusting that the employees are not being able to control their emotions , she then tells me to shut my mouth or she's not going to give me a refund I state you never know who someone is and regardless of the situation you should remain professional she then says you know what I'm not going to give you a refund , fast forward my husband starts to tell people in line what took place the manager comes back says your son might be disabled or whatever but he's not pointing to my husband who's on a knee scooter and unable to walk and laughs gives us the refund after we called the police , and making rude insults and commenting on my family disability's. All the employees where rude when I stated I'll contact corporate regarding this manner they stated we don't give damn we will still have a job and good luck there wasn't one employee nor manager who was not argumentative I kept my cool the whole time nor did myself or family deserve this . I will still be contacting corporate, the BBB, leave reviews on yelp and Google until this issue is handled I also will go as far as contacting news station and writing letting this behavior is unacceptable. Dylan Was great I appreciate all that he continues to do has always shown us a great hospitality everytime we are in.

I honestly don't think they deserve this. Very rude from being to the end. Plates stayed on the table the whole time. The manager was told the problem and did nothing. This was so bad I took this to the corporate office and I'm getting my attorney in this as well. read more
