Everything was medium well and more done so the cook said he would grill a medium rare for me. Took probably ten minutes but it was a perfect medium rare and delicious as could be with the steak sauce. Items off the buffet varied to overbaked baked potatoes, great green beans and solid mashed potatoes. Overdone onion rings. BBQ chicken was moist and tasty. Something for everyone. I normally really like this location. This instance though, the staff servicing the tables was shockingly bad. My parents picked the table but a tipoff was the neighboring tables with piles of plates and used napkins on them. Aside from dropping off our drinks, we never were attended to at all. Our server - Angel - was amazing! She was incredibly friendly and sweet. She made our visit wonderful. My son even requested a photo with her at the "photo op" wall, and she agreed. :) The restaurant was also themed. There were a LOT of themed decorations. When we visited in the summer of 2023, it was pirate themed, and we were told the theme changes periodically, but I can't remember how often. It was very cool. The singing, wandering "busser" robots were interesting. The food wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad at all. It seems weird to think/say/type, but the ambience at this Golden Corral truly made it a special place. Had a great experience here. The hostess/cashiers were very nice, and we discussed them being twins and meeting our triplets. The food was good and the service was nice. The kids love being able to choose what they want to eat. Also, all the deserts you can eat isn't bad. I just dont like how I over eat everytime then feel like I'm in a food come. I'm very disappointed in the service at this location. We got here at 3:59pm and were charged for the dinner. Whatever, we let it go, but were already ticked off. We then had to seat ourselves and clean our own table because every single available table was disgusting, and our cashier ran away immediately after taking our money, giving us no further instruction. We sat at our unclean table and were not served drinks until we repeatedly asked 4 different servers, which of that number, none were any help. Eventually we had to go directly to the manager, and received our drinks 34 minutes after our initial sit down. Typical Golden Corral but brand new as it just opened up and you can definitely tell as it was jumping on this Saturday night! So I've been to one of their locations before back in California and it wasn't the best but that's not the case here as everything I had was quite good and really just hit the food coma spot! It was some of my coworkers idea to come here so we did for that all you can eat action of this that and everything in between for that so grab some of this grab some of that and you know your going to want more so it's all that! Very Disappointed. The look of it from the outside, it looks like they just open. The Grand Opening sign still up and hanging. We don't know the area, but we drove past it on the way to our hotel and our kids asked if we could go for dinner. We absolutely love the Golden Corral buffet in our hometown, so we said Yes to the kids. The kids were excited and were looking forward to it. Our kids started talking about, they can't wait to have some ice cream and the chocolate fondue fountain, etc. We got seated with a gentleman. He was polite and was wonderful. But we did notice 6-8 other employees we're just walking around the floor and some were on their cellphones. As we come up to the foods, it was horrifying. I didn't even know which one to get. Most of the foods we're dry and I couldn't tell what's in the tray. The countertop was dirty, dry foods in the countertop. One other lady with a family was so upset, she asked for a manager. She spoke to the manager and a few minutes later some employees started cleaning the counter top. But none of the foods we're exchanged or refilled. We walk to the dessert area and we were told, the ice cream machine was broken and they don't have chocolate fondue. Cookies and brownies were dry and hard to bite. The pies and cheesecake we're mostly broken. This place was horrible. I believe to better this place. They need better training with all the employees and better management. I use to work and manage a restaurant. I don't believe the staff should walk around the floor with cellphones on hand during shift. 2nd that food needs to keep warm, refilled and make sure the counter is clean. We went on a Sunday afternoon. A steak and rib dinner priced at $13.99 seemed reasonable to me. Both were flavorful and tender. The corn on the cob and baked beans were both excellent. Good steakhouse style dinner rolls. I also tried the fried chicken, two thumbs up there. Our server was attentive and very friendly. I also liked the décor and the way the place was setup. It was very easy to navigate. Personally, I wish they would have had collard greens on the bar to go along with the BBQ items but that's just a reflection of my personal taste. Now for the downside. It has a very small dessert buffet. If you are a picky dessert eater there are not a lot of selections to be found here. Very standard fair aside from the cotton candy and chocolate fountain. The area was also very messy and the ice-cream machine was empty. A stark contrast to the rest of the place. My recommendations...you need to put the cotton candy out where people can get to it, instead of leaving it in a big bag on the floor behind the dessert bar. I saw a couple of little girls waiting for this confection while the staff refilled other items on the dessert counter. As best I can tell the only way to get a bag of the fluffy stuff was to ask for it. I think in the hustle and bustle the girls were missed. They were being very patient and polite BTW. A rarity among kids these days. My hubby also loves cotton candy and it would have been nice to be able to grab a bag without having to ask for it. Also, if you are going to have a chocolate fountain as your main draw at the dessert bar. Maybe put out something besides just marshmallows, strawberry's and rice crispy treats. It would have seemed a little more special had there been more options for dipping. Had the dessert bar been better I would have given this location five stars. read more

My family and I tried it the night before while attending an event known as Colossalcon. There was some good and bad. The good was the selection. A lot of meats, veggies, and desert options. The staff appeared friendly if not thin spread (remember, big event that shared time with a motorcycle convention of sorts too). The bad was that it was dirty. Mostly the plates on the center island still had big chunks of food hunk stuck to them, and a lot of water on the floor (a poor server slipped and fell while carrying a tray of table clean up). The other is that it was expensive but it was to be expected. Three people was a bit over $50 but you got steak and ribs with the buffet. We didn't get sick with the dish ware while picking out seemingly clean sections of the pile. $60 for a family of 4 is kinda crazy for Golden Corral food in my mind but that wasn't the issue. The issue I had was the waitress. I don't like being mean towards actual people but it was more than bad to watch. First off we simply couldn't get the right drinks. No biggie. Then as we're eating, we ask her if they have any plastic spoons to feed our baby with and she points to the front of the store and then goes into the dishes room. So we get up and get that ourselves. Again; kinda annoying but no biggie. Now for the nasty AS HELL part. There's a little robot that rolls around and people throw there dishes in. The waitress went to throw a bunch of plates in a bin and food went all over the floor and she left it right by our table for a few minutes. She then came back and started scrapping it into her hands then throwing it into the bin! Proceeded to wipe her hands on her pants, then go pick some guys glass up for a refill and brought it back to him never washing her hands. I never asked for a refill and told my kids not to either.
