Piping hot coffee, all the breakfast favorites. Plus, the salad bar and dessert bar is open. Chef will make you a custom omelet. My favorites are the banana bread French toast and the fried potatoes/onions. Can't get enough of either. It is usually pretty crowded on a Saturday morning. I know it's a family style buffet so my expectations should've never been high but I feel like the quality has really gone down and the price has gone up. I went to use my free birthday meal and the bf got his buffet and our 2 drink and it was like $30. I think that's crazy even on a Sunday. The ribs were clearly boiled and slathered with BBQ sauce. And when I went back up there to the meat part I just kept rolling on by because he was wiping the areas between the trays with the wettest towel you ever did see and was slanging the juices back and forth. The was an older patron by the salad section telling them to clean up the bar because it was dirty. The one thing I can usually count on to be good is the fried chicken and even that was off or not fresh tasting. Also it's just WAY too crowded in there. This place just isn't very good. 2nd time I've been here and the food is just.....not great. Workers just walk around with no regard for customers. Almost got ran into by a worker a multiple occasions And no, they weren't in a rush working. The food is super average. It fills you up, so there's that. I would have been just as satisfied eating a sandwich at home . The beef roast was by far the best thing I tried and it was 5/10. Dessert wasn't bad. The carrot cake was actually pretty good though. Service, didn't think there would be much to note, but like I said, they just walk around and expect you to move out of their way. I'm not rude, and I don't expect them to dodge customers like we should be avoided, but I had to go out of my way to avoid them because they didn't care if we would have collided. SHOUT OUT to Laura. She was the best thing about this place. This woman wasn't the only one walking around, but she did appear to be the only one doing anything productive. Laura is doing the job of 4 people while the same can't be said for everyone else. Ambiance is chill. Pretty relaxed and the lighting is bright, which I prefer. It's a good place to just fill up and relax. You could probably do some work in here or just have a quick lunch. All in all this is my last visit. Just NASTY... Flies and dirty dishes everywhere. Buffet not! Could not keep the flow of food available despite workers cooking continuously! The waffle dispenser was out a waffle mix, I had to continuously ask for them to put hamburgers out, the fries are out, the onion rings were out,, the buns were not toasted thoroughly, dirty dishes stacked on top of dirty dishes which brought in more flies it was almost like they were more flies than patron. I overheard the workers saying the GM was upset because people were complaining. Well get out here and help this place was overcrowded it should have shut it down because there was no seating. After sitting down with my tray about 10 minutes I decided that it was better just to walk and eat because the flies were everywhere. One of the cooks had the nerves to tell me that you cannot stand up and eat well I couldn't sit down and eat either. This is one of the NASTIEST Golden corrals I've been to and I've been to quite a few. If you look very close so you can see the flies. Went there for lunch today. All was going well, then in walks two older people and their big ass dog. No service vest. And not that the dog was out of control, but you could tell he was not a service animal. I get it was hot out today, but what about maybe keeping the dog home. Cattle drive through the zig-zag line to get chipped up clear plastic cups made me wish I paid for the larger to-go cups. Value? $18 before 4 on a Saturday (including drink and tax)... they stopped serving beef steak years ago I came in with a shock seeing up-charges posted for small things like to-go silverware and larger cups. The $13 posted price didn't include drink.... However- free refills. Start at the far right to get salad. As you move left the selection becomes more sides then mostly pork, chicken, hamburger and fish is offered. The far left is offering of desserts- I just grab a bite of everything because everything is just a-ok. Grab a hopefully cooler bowl when getting ice cream. I did tip the lady clearing or dirty plates and offering to get us or free refills on drinks. $2-3 per person per person cleaning is good for this busing service? I hope she received at least minimum wage also. I ate more than I should because I felt I paid more than I should. I guess welcome to 2023. read more

How should I react? Repelled? Typical? Really not the cleanest, I will warn you that. Cups, cutlery and plates still have residue and crumbs on the table + floor. Service was decent, dare I say polite and friendly. Prices are good, especially for little tots like my little sis who get to eat for free every tuesday. Food is decent, huge spread of desserts that aren't too sweet. It's better than most buffets I've visited, food is defientley a little more fresh. I do like their mashed potatoes, but I cannot say more. Medicine buffet, watch out and wash your hands before eating. Please don't find that funny. read more

The most part is pretty good some days they keep everything out of the food's piping hot and maybe the next time you go they tend to let the food run out so you kind of got a keep an eye out and go up to the buffet right when they put the food out a few times I went for lunch and dinner was just getting ready to start. They was behind. They had a steak ready but that's it. The shrimp wasn't out sliced pork and ham so I went and ate my steak. Went back up there at 4:20. Honestly, this place is the favorite spot for my two youngest nieces. It has all their favorites, choices, and an ice cream machine they do on their own. The girls aren't foodies and are 4 and 9- so it's basically their Heaven. For me, it's ok. I don't mind going for the most part. The food selection is good - I really like the salad bar and desserts... and being able to nosh on lots of things. The choices really are amazing. Food seems to be made fresh - you can see them food prep and cutting up ingredients. Some items are even cooked in front of you. The dishes are constantly refreshed. Pricing is very fair for the large selection. My least favorite aspects are that it is loud, always busy with too many kids too often running wild (my nieces are always supervised, well mannered, and never allowed to roam on their own). And I wonder about sneeze guard effectiveness -- but I just say my Hail Mary and take one for the team, because the kiddos DO love this place. 4 stars in honor of da nieces. :) read more

This is not our first time coming here, however the experience wasn't much improved. Food was better quality in some areas, others looked as tho it sat all morning. The lady that comes around and cleans off plates was not the nicest, and you can tell she didn't want to be there. The bathroom was aweful no toilet paper in some stalls it's always hard to find a clean table when we have been there. It would be a great place to go if they would stay on top of food quality, cleaning, and staff attitudes. The first thing on my mind was to head straight to the omelette section and it's a good thing I've did because it was a line forming which didn't take long. The macaroni is basically water , mashed potatoes are sour, okra burnt, and nothing looks appealing. Came here with my family. Look when the seniors in the family want to eat at a certain place.. you as the "child" just show up. But this place... dear God. It's the classic text book example of an over paid non-present CEO. 1. The food not bad. 2. The facilities- uhm need a major overhaul. 3. The restaurant - ran out of ice. The local management said it was due the ice maker within the fountain machine not keeping up with demand. 4. Couldn't tip wait staff at the register at the time of payment. So I hope the CEO and board members are paying the waitstaff 20+ an hour. 5. The staff was definitely overwhelmed and over worked... there was not enough staff to man the location. 6. I had to pray I didn't sick... non the serving utensils were cleaned or swapped out. 7. Our server was dragging... how was he expected to handle 10-15 tables with 4+ people and bus the tables. 8. The female managers on duty spent more time gossiping with each other than busing tables. I can go on. In the end I'm glad I got to spend time with family. And this is a prime example that executives are too far removed from the impact of the decisions... at roughly 70 bucks for 3 people...no restaurant should ever run out ice at least. read more

Giving this review a five star review solely because of our server Jason. He was a delight, and very very nice to us when he didn't have to be. He said it was him and only a couple of other people working because everyone called off for the Fourth of July. He could've been short, and brief with us and gone about his business. But he greeted us with a smile and made us feel like he cared. There were no tables open after we already paid, and he opened up a section even when short handed just to to make sure we had somewhere to sit and did the same for another couple. Definitely get what you pay for here.... 16 bucks for a buffet that includes mostly frozen foods and low quality meats. It is all you can eat though. The frustrating part of our experience was the ice cream machine was broke and for whatever reason nobody would put an out of order sign on it. We told several different employees about the machine but nobody did anything and unfortunately countless children kept grabbing cones and trying to fill them only to be disappointed. We found ourselves warning customers as they were walking near it when we could. If you want all you can eat cheaply prepared food this is your place. I've gone to this restaurant multiple times as a kid and it was always an amazing experience, however this past time I was highly disappointed. The place was dirty and unkempt. The food tasted spoiled and was either overly salted or not salted at all. For almost $25 this was not at all worth it. The only good thing about it was that the busser was quick to clear plates and refill our drinks. The dessert spread was a disaster with smashed pies and a slimy ice cream and icee mess (which BOTH machines weren't working and had no sign or anything on them to pertain that) and cookies that tasted rotten and banana pudding that was slimy and separated. The mac n cheese tasted like a frozen TV dinner along with the bland cold green beans. read more

I went to Golden Corral 2x in March and had a few issues with the food. Since management told me those issues would be addressed I returned on 4/6/23. This time the food was fresh, hot, seasoned well, and cooked properly. Everything tasted very good. The butterfly shrimp were huge and crispy. The battered cod fish was fried so you could get individual pieces. Fried chicken was hot, crispy and juicy. Steak, meatloaf, green beans, catfish, etc... all cooked very well. The waitress in my area was very nice and attentive. She removed empty plates and refilled drinks in a very timely manner. If I could give less then one star I would. The experience here gets worse and worse. I used to love bringing my kids here but now I'm not sure I'd bring my worst enemy. I usually go once or twice a month. I absolutely love the chuckroast - tender, tasty beef slow- roasted with onions, celery, carrots and taters. Just cant get it anywhere else. However, while I can't complain about any of the food or the service, the condition of the restaurant overall is deteriorating quickly. The restroom is ghastly, with broken locks on the doors, toilet paper scattered on the floor, overflowing waste bins, frequently out of toilet paper in the stalls, only one soap dispenser works, and the water nozzles are broken and rotate freely (they're not supposed to). The coat hangers on the inside of the stalls are all broken off so there's no place to put your purse except on the dirty floor. The final straw was this evening when I set my purse on the sink to wash my hands. A large, full-grown German cockroach started crawling up my purse. I managed to fling him off before he got inside and got a free ride home - makes me shudder. If there's one visible cockroach, there are hundreds if not thousands living in dark and secret places. It makes my skin crawl, and I feel slightly nauseous thinking about what may have been in my food. I wont be back. I'm done. read more
