I know it's a family style buffet so my expectations should've never been high but I feel like the quality has really gone down and the price has gone up. I went to use my free birthday meal and the bf got his buffet and our 2 drink and it was like $30. I think that's crazy even on a Sunday. The ribs were clearly boiled and slathered with BBQ sauce. And when I went back up there to the meat part I just kept rolling on by because he was wiping the areas between the trays with the wettest towel you ever did see and was slanging the juices back and forth. The was an older patron by the salad section telling them to clean up the bar because it was dirty. The one thing I can usually count on to be good is the fried chicken and even that was off or not fresh tasting. Also it's just WAY too crowded in there. They need to remove about a third of the tables and redo the seating. It's just a hot mess!

Cattle drive through the zig-zag line to get chipped up clear plastic cups made me wish I paid for the larger to-go cups. Value? $18 before 4 on a Saturday (including drink and tax)... they stopped serving beef steak years ago I came in with a shock seeing up-charges posted for small things like to-go silverware and larger cups. The $13 posted price didn't include drink.... However- free refills. Start at the far right to get salad. As you move left the selection becomes more sides then mostly pork, chicken, hamburger and fish is offered. The far left is offering of desserts- I just grab a bite of everything because everything is just a-ok. Grab a hopefully cooler bowl when getting ice cream. I did tip the lady clearing or dirty plates and offering to get us or free refills on drinks. $2-3 per person per person cleaning is good for this busing service? I hope she received at least minimum wage also. I ate more than I should because I felt I paid more than I should. I guess welcome to 2023.

Stop here for breakfast on our road trip and I must say some of the breakfast items were really good. The first thing on my mind was to head straight to the omelette section and it's a good thing I've did because it was a line forming which didn't take long. Most of the items like the French toast was good, but the steak in the buffet was overcook and dry. Like any other buffet, you can't try every food item because it just impossible unless you're a constant eater.

For the first time in forever we got there during happy hour so what do we do? Save money? No, we order two appetizers instead of one! We always get the wings, and we got fried pickles that were part of the $5 appetizer choices, you can choose from several and alcohol specials, too. I always do build your own, you fill out the sheet from a pad on the table choosing your ingredients by category. I usually get the beef but last couple times I have ordered chicken but got similar toppings, Spinach, tomato, chipotle aioli, and fried jalapenos on toasted sourdough. Love it! For a small upcharge you can get a salad as a side, I like to do that because I can steal a few of the delicious fries from my companions. The salad is generous, spring mix, red onion, tomato, croutons. It comes with shaved parmesan, but I ask them to leave that off. The champagne vinaigrette is perfect. This is my favorite burger place, but I like that I can get a great chicken sandwich!

Hers had perfect caramelized onions, good portion size on the fries and textbook medium well burger. I created my own burger on the brioche bun with the bacon and bacon jam. I could get vegan eggs and vegan bacon, and my friends could get their chicken eggs and turkey bacon. My favorites here were the vegan milkshakes, pancakes, vegan bacon, brussels sprouts, and the shrimp po'boy. Unfortunately, I'm speaking of them in past tense because as of tonight, 09May, they have permanently closed. My family and I were some of the very last customers. They were out of all my favorites, so it was extra sad for me. I ended up trying the tacos for the first time. They were cool. But I'm surely going miss my favorites! The owners also own Frida's and Diego's, off Delmar and North & South. I personally don't care for the food at either one, but rumor has it, they might bring some of the Station No 3 favs over to one of these restaurants (which are right next door to each other).

They also seem to have a full bar. There was a Wednesday happy hour when we were there $9 old fashioned and potato skins. All and all it was pretty good but I would have liked to see some healthier options that weren't salad, like more fresh veggies in dishes.

We were 11th in line when we signed up, and by the time we arrived, we had moved up to 5th. Since it was raining, we decided to wait in the car. When we reached 3rd in line, we were unexpectedly removed from the waitlist. I tried calling the phone number listed on Yelp, which was the same number displayed on the building, but it went straight to what sounded like a personal cellphone voicemail. We decided to go inside anyway and discovered the waitlist wasn't necessary because there were plenty of tables available. The menu had a lot of interesting options, although I wish it included photos of the dishes. We ordered the Hawaiian Bowl, the Truffle Burger, and what I believe was the Blueberry Jam Burger, along with regular fries and sweet potato fries. The burgers were juicy and flavorful, and each bun was stamped with the Circle 7 branded logo, which was a nice touch. The Hawaiian Bowl was delicious and generously portioned. I had enough left over for another meal. The atmosphere is definitely more of a sports bar than a traditional restaurant. Every wall seemed to have multiple TVs, making it easy to watch the soccer matches from just about anywhere in the dining room. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and checked on us several times throughout the meal. Before leaving, we couldn't decide on just one dessert, so we ordered the dessert sampler. The cobbler was the standout--it tasted homemade, especially the crust, and all of the desserts were served with ice cream. The only disappointment was the brownie, which was quite hard instead of soft and fudgy. Overall, we enjoyed the food and the service. The only downside was the confusing Yelp waitlist experience, which could definitely use some improvement.

I'd never really noticed this bar before, since I entered from the back, but I'm so glad I stopped in. The patio is spacious and inviting, the inside is super clean, and there are plenty of tables perfect for groups. TVs are everywhere, there are a few slot machines if you like to gamble, and of course a dartboard--because what neighborhood bar is complete without one? The service was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and quick to get our food out. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and full of flavor. I had the fried chicken and two sides GREAT! The portion sizes were generous, and I truly have no complaints about the food at all. We didn't try the cocktails this time, but everyone at the bar looked happy and well taken care of, and the bartenders were clearly on top of things. Crusoe's feels like the kind of neighborhood spot you can count on: great service, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere. The worst aspect is the ventilation which needs much work. We came out smelling so greasy and smokey. We seated ourselves and waited a minute for our waitress to assist us. She kept saying she was new, that it was like her second day or something and didn't quite know the menu. She also didn't know how to make a drink, with that being the case why are you allowed to make any cocktails. If you have a limited cocktail menu but an extensive bar selection you would think their cocktail specials were on point. Nooooo. The BF tried a margarita special and it was awful. I tried a special crafted cocktail that was cool that our waitress asked the guy bartending to specially make because she had no clue about what I was talking about. I hate going to a spot where I make drinks better than the bartenders on hand and that's your job. The BF ordered the the garlic burger and I ordered the Korean wings which NEVER came out because our waitress forgot to order them. So I shared food with the BF. The burger was extremely underwhelming, not seasoned at all. How do you specialize in burgers and mess that up. The best item we ate was the fries and the comedy show was good. I love dinner and entertainment. We are burger enthusiast and if this what your restaurant specializes in I expect to be wowed. We saw all the social media hype surrounding this place and were so excited to try them. To find out it was ALL just hype is a real let down. No we will not be returning, the burgers and service speak for themselves.

My friend got a tequila sunrise, so I followed suit. The pour was quite generous, I must say, and I'm def not complaining. The drink was smooth, with the perfect amount of tequila and sweetness. The bartenders working were both friendly and sociable. The vibe was relaxed and is a great alternative when things get too crazy at the dam. While I only got drinks, I'll for sure be back.
