i come here everyday for a salad and different meats. i received a birthday email for BOGO free buffets. so I go to try and use it and the lady at the register has no clue what she's doing after she scans my phone. And then the manager or whoever he is came over and says that I have to have somebody with me to be able to redeem MY birthday code.? I come here alone, so why wouldn't I be able to pay for one and then get the second one for free next time? They won't be getting my money every day anymore that's for sure. I went to Golden Corral for the Thanksgiving dinner but was extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the food. The turkey was dry,the stuffing lacked any flavor,the turkey mixed with stuffing had the turkey break apart,green beans were a pale shade of green there appearance wasn't appealing at all with the paleness of them. The utensils had water spots,some weren't clean for customers to use,the plates were wet,the beverage cup I got was small. What the cost was for inferior food was about the same as Domino's pizza,which Domino's would have tasted better and been enough for two days. Someone that was taking a container of mashed potatoes paid $10.00 for that. That's overpriced for the container size. Don't recommend golden corral. Over priced,lousy food,long wait time for a table,noisy, -5 stars. read more

Wait staff great, but I can't believe I paid over $45 for 2 people and the food was old and cold or been sitting there for a LONG time or bins sat there empty. I asked the manager and another worker for cheese, they both told me they were completely out of cheese. There's a salad bar with no cheese, the Mexican part had no cheese. We walked in and were greeted immediately, found a seat quickly. The veggies and fruits were FRESH not dry or looking like they'd been sitting there all day. Have not been to s Golden Corral in over 10 years. Although we arrived in mid afternoon, the food was still very good. A but steamed out and not hot, but certainly good enough to want to go back. We were disappointed there was no self serve water or coffee station, and it took awhile to get the attention of the minimal wait staff, but it all ended well. read more

Was very happy with the management at Golden Corral today. Me and my father showed up tonight September 1st 2023 at 9:15. My experience was not as great as I had anticipated, and I brought it up to the manager. Being in the restaurant Business for 10 years myself, I thought I knew what to expect. I was wrong. The manager was great, gracious, genuinely listened to my concerns and offered me a full refund to me and my father. I have to say I was happy to not argue with someone and with that being said I will return with my father. This manager was exceptional and he should be promoted. read more

I just witnessed the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. We decided to go eat at Golden Corral in Janesville, Wi. They had employees not wearing a mask serving food, employees not wearing masks OR gloves touching food and an employee putting plates everywhere after playing with her hair & money. Then, leaving food on the front bar unattended, to come back later on and a different person, again with no gloves or mask, finish serving the food. Now, I'm not a big mask freak. Let's be real. But in a place serving food that was rapidly filling with customers, it was a Covid-19 breeding ground. So disgusting read more

I have never done this before, but my experience was so bad! Almost nothing was labeled and one of the three that were was wrong. The highlight was the garlic Texas toast... The low light was the meatloaf that tasted like dog food and chicken thigh and drumstick that was pink on the verge of bloody. The vanilla ice cream had a yellow coloring to it and looked off I was afraid to eat it. The baked potato bar was sitting next to the cold salads literally a foot from watermelon. We were visiting family and it was suggested to meet here for breakfast. I knew it was a newer place, so figured we could give it a try. Nice building, it was clean, staff at cashier stand friendly, server not too bad. Overall value was good, would have spent more at other breakfast restaurants. Only one issue----the food was COLD!! All of it. There were less than 20 people in the place and the whole line was overflowing with cold food. I am sure Golden Corral has guidelines of how much food to have out based on number of people dining. The staff here was too lazy to follow that and just filled up the full line, 2 pans of everything. Then you don't have to make more. The only hot item was the made to order omelettes however there was too much oil used to make them. You don't need 2-3 ounces of oil to make an omelette in an 8 inch fry pan. You could see the oil floating above the egg but it was hot. I feel bad for the owner of the business the amount of waste has to be staggering and they will either raise the price or close up shop. Maybe it was just that one Saturday morning but don't think we will try again to find out. read more

i have been to this location about 6 or 7 times. today the cashier was prompt and courteous as was the server with my drink. the food on the other hand was not up to par. do away with your salad bar if you cannot supply it correctly. other golden corral locations have quite a selection of toppings and dressings. the toppings here are few and far between. there was not any vinegar and oil or thousand island dressing. the lettuce was a light color of white. what happened to green lettuce??? was not fresh either. looking for veggies on the line, but no corn was to be found. rolls were hot and delicious. rice was hot, and so was the gravy. meats, potatoes etc were warm at best. all this is under heat lamps and supposed to be hot. i can see why my brother drives an additional 30 miles for a different location. this is the last time i will frequent this location. read more
