I came to Sunny's spa for my second, Aescape (AI massage), I was greeted with a warm welcome from…read morethe spa attendant. I had booked a 60 minute full body massage. I was the first appointment of the day and no one else was in the spa. Upon entering the AI massage room, everything look clean and orderly. The AI machine had remembered my music taste however, all my settings that were mentioned that would be saved were not and I had to re-Adjust them before starting (but that took only a minute and not a big deal at all) . The massage was good. I was hoping by the second time I would feel less lightheaded, but laying face down for a full 60 minutes is a bit too long for me, (I think 45 minutes might be better). The massage itself was great though and relaxing. After my massage, I headed up to the pool area (you are able to use the pool if you place a service over 45 mins long) and found a lounge chair around 11 AM. I ordered lunch from my lounge chair 11:30 getting their tacos, they were wonderful. I asked for them to be grilled not fried and they happily obliged. Great service both at the spa and pool area. The pool has a beautiful ocean view. It was a little on the busy side only because it was spring break, but I was still able to have an open lounge chair and there was space to hang out in the hot tub and the pool area with without it being too crowded. The restaurant right off the pool is absolutely adorable. Cute little themed areas are so tastefully done for small groups. The Seabird hotel is gorgeous!! I love the nautical feel throughout. It is very nicely decorated. After spending about two hours in the pool area, I headed back down to Sunny's Spa and enjoyed the amenities that were provided there. They have a beautiful large sauna, cold mist area, waiting area with a gorgeous ocean view and light snacks & beverages. I give the experience a 10 out of 10.

I booked a deep tissue massage expecting a treatment focused on relieving muscle tension and…read moreworking on deeper layers of muscle. Instead, the session was centered more on removing my "energy," and involved mostly being rubbed with oil rather than receiving what I would consider a deep tissue massage. The massage cost over $200, so I expected the service to match what was advertised. In my experience, it did not. If you're looking for an energy-focused treatment, this may be a good fit. However, if you're specifically looking for a traditional deep tissue massage, my experience did not match that expectation.

When I first arrived, I had a little trouble finding the front entrance because there are several buildings on the property. Once I found my way in, I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and peaceful the grounds are. There is a lovely tropical area with a koi pond that adds to the relaxing atmosphere. They also have a really nice gift shop with so many unique items to choose from, including teas, crystals, lotions, and other fun wellness and self-care products. It was definitely worth taking some time to browse. I had a wonderful experience with my massage. It was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what I needed. My niece also had a massage there and had a great experience as well. Overall, I really enjoyed my first visit to Four Moons Spa and can definitely see why it's considered a hidden gem. I will absolutely be back!

From the moment you arrive, it feels like you've stepped into a serene healing portal. The lush gardens, koi pond, mature trees, cozy outdoor spaces, and thoughtful details create an atmosphere that immediately invites you to slow down and breathe. I had an amazing massage with Violet, who struck the perfect balance between relaxation and therapeutic care. She listened to exactly what my body needed and I left feeling completely renewed. Thank you, Violet! My facial with Alexis was one of the best I've ever experienced. The highlights were the lymphatic drainage massage, the cooling ice globes, and the incredible hydration my skin received. My face felt sculpted, refreshed, and absolutely glowing afterward. Thank you, Alexis! The spa itself is just as memorable as the treatments. We enjoyed relaxing in the tranquil outdoor spaces surrounded by greenery, the peaceful koi pond, and the calming ambiance that makes it easy to forget you're only minutes from San Diego.

Overall: If you're going to come to the Murrieta hot springs with someone, my best recommendation…read moreis to book a room and stay overnight. This allows for access to more pools/ spas , complementary bathrobe during stay, and the best "bang for your buck" when it comes to cost-for-use (day pass price and spa availability vs. hotel guest price and spa availability). I would give 5 stars for the staff, namely Katie and Anthony at the front desk. They were exceptionally helpful. Katie, in particular, genuinely enjoys working here and did everything in her power to ensure my party had the best stay. I would give 1.5- 2 stars for the lack of a code of conduct or the enforcement thereof. There were so many couples who struggled with keeping their "physical passion for one another" to themselves. Many different couples were spanking each other LOUDLY in various areas of the resort. There were some couples who were getting a little too comfortable with one another in different soaking tubs, some who were getting "handsy" at the clay cove, and some who were just doing questionable behavior regardless where they were. I am a young adult and I've been around couples who have had public passion for each other- like making out at amusement parks- you know, the usual. BUT this behavior was on another level; this was out of the bounds of public decency. On the note of public decency, there were a few guests whose swimwear exposed more than it covered (if you're picking up what I'm throwing down). There was, also, one man in particular who was smoking/ taking a fat rip of his vape in front of CHILDREN. All that being said, I could NOT, in good conscience, recommend this place to anyone accompanied by very young humans as a child-friendly/ family- friendly resort. Aside from those concerns, everything else met my standards. Hotel room (Stone Lodge) was clean. Towels were stocked at the pools. The temperatures were good. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. I would not return as a day pass user (since my party and I are not locals), BUT we would come back as hotel guests.
