I asked why they made the appointment knowing that. She told me the person who gave me Botox noted she had discussed the bee venom allergy. We never had that conversation because I wasn't even considering Juvederm. Again, if that were the case I wouldn't have made the appointment and Rejuvenate shouldn't have made the appointment. If you're reading this and you're allergic to bee venom it's not the Juvederm it's the enzyme hyaluroniidase that is used if they need to break down the Juvederm. If you don't like the results or in rare cases a vascular occlusion. I have an appointment with a doctor for Juvederm. Don't believe that because you're allergic to bee venom you absolutely can't get Juvederm. Do some research. Kelsey let me know she didn't want an incident/problem like that on her resume. Rejuvenate should have this information on their website. So like me you don't waste your time.

Was told I could do a manicure or pedicure at 10:00 am. Since more people would see my hands than feet, I opted for the manicure. I returned at 9:45, and was taken to the relaxation lounge which is quite lovely. The receptionist (who is obviously new and unfamiliar with operations) came back and told me they couldn't do a manicure for me as there was already a 10:00 am appointment and they only have one manicure station. Ok, no problem I'll take the pedicure. It started almost 20 minutes later. The gravity chairs are nice, as is the neck roll, blanket, and eye mask. However, the foot soak lasted 2 minutes or less with little exfoliation. The technician cut my big toenail crooked and too far in, which could potentially give me an ingrown toenail (picture below). The polish job was quick and kind of sloppy. The leg massage was ok but nothing spectacular. All in all, if I lived here I wouldn't go back. If you're visiting, save the money and go to a different salon.

Caroline was also very professional and friendly. As someone who doesn't often strip down in front of strangers, the fact that she made me feel comfortable was really important. This is definitely my new go to place for the occasional spray tan. She's sending me care instructions too, which will be helpful. About the space: it's not in a *great* location near Colfax, but it's easy to get to. The office building it's in is nice with plenty of parking. The esthetician was friendly, boisterous, loud and immediately jumped into performing the service without instructions or warnings. She did a good job applying the under eye patches, tints, etc. When it was time to take the tint off she dug cotton balls into my eyes - way deeper than was necessary and without care - that toxic dye got in my eyes and it was SO painful. She washed my eyes out with saline like 6 times because I demanded it but they still stung. She never apologized - just "yep, it stings don't it", like I was some sort of torture subject. I don't think she was properly trained! I have had my brows and lashes tinted dozens of times in other salons and sure there is a little sting but the esthetitian knows how to carefully remove the dye so that the sting is minimal and she is compassionate and thorough with the saline. I don't think this woman got all the dye out because my eyes still stung for the rest of the day and into the night, extra dry, red on the inside of the eyelid... 3 days later my eyes are still recovering. Google says the dyes are not FDA approved and can cause serious damage to the eyes - I was freaking out. The place is cute but I would NEVER go here again.
