Headed to Golden Hour Nails Spa to get our nails done in preparation for a wedding and I was very appreciative of the staff's patience and hospitality. The salon is clean and features a tremendous selection of nail options. Prices for manicures start at $35 for regular and $55 for gel. There are additional costs for certain styles as well. Pedicures seem to start around $75 and also looks to have several options - we didn't do this activity, but it looked quite relaxing. Styling for 3 took about an hour and 15. read more

Second location of Golden Hour Nail Spa just opened! On Flamingo at Hughes Center. Grand opening is this Friday 9/5. I had such a wonderful experience! The space feels bright, modern, and calming the moment you walk in, definitely designed with relaxation in mind. Everything was spotless and well thought out, from the comfortable chairs to the soothing music. The staff was incredibly welcoming and professional. My nail technician took her time to make sure every detail was perfect and offered helpful suggestions on colors and designs without ever being pushy. I really appreciated the care in shaping and polishing! I chose the newly red just arrived. I left feeling pampered and refreshed with their treat me like a queen package. I got a gel manicure and pedicure. Honesly my nail tech danelle was amazing she was through and i am in love with my set. Completely nailed my design and she was so nice and sweet. Jasmine did my friends toes and even helped us pick out or nail colors and she knocked it out of the park with the color palette for my friend. read more

I had such a great experience at this salon! What's my fourth time here the staff was welcoming from the moment I walked in, and my nail tech Kelly took their time to make sure everything was perfect. I got the manicure and pedicure and the shape and color came out exactly how I wanted. Every time that I took my mom over there Danielle always take care of her. Thank you Danielle and Kelly. I've been a regular patron of Golden Hour for about a year now. All of the staff - Aria, Tree, Tina, Kelly, and more - all consistently produce high quality work in a timely manner and for a great price. All of the staff are incredibly talented and skilled, and the salon is kept clean and beautiful. Their other location is fantastic as well. If you're in Vegas looking for a good nail salon, don't bother going anywhere else; as a native here since 2009, this is a the best nail salon by far. read more

Moved to LV from SoCal last summer and had not found a nail salon out here yet. My daughter's 17th bday was this weekend and I wanted to surprise her with a nail appt for some fancy bday nails. I looked up nail salons on Yelp and Instagram and finally settled on Golden Hour. So happy I did! Chyna absolutely nailed it with my daughter's nails! They were exactly what she was looking for and is obsessed! I went much simpler and just did coffin-shaped nails with a really pretty espresso gel color and Jackie did a perfect job! I love that the acrylic is on the thinner side, I can't stand thick acrylic. Both girls were super sweet and I was surprised how quickly Chyna did such an intricate, beautiful set on my daughter! Had a great pedicure but was told that same technician didn't do dip for my manicure. The person who took over completely destroyed my nails. The guy at the front desk agreed they were horrible and offered to redo them at a later date but still made me pay full price. I booked for 3 days later but day of that appointment - my appointment was cancelled due to person having to leave because they were sick. My nails are literally peeling due to all the chemicals the first person applied. I've been getting dip for years and have never seen anything like it! read more

Starting from the beginning just walking in everyone greeted us with smiles and kindness. This was the BEST pedicure I've ever had. I don't even know where to begin. They were so sweet and attentive. They thought of everythinggg. My best friend and I came here to celebrate her birthday. They all came over and wished her a happy bday with a crown and a sash. So cute! I definitely will be back and bring my mom. We did the " Treat yourself like a king and Queen." They even massaged our hands and arms anddd put a hydrating wax on our hands and feet. This place is so good! I took my daughter for a mommy/daughter day treat - we got matching mani-pedis. They treated her with care, and didn't forget to take care of me too. My nails look great and my daughter was thrilled with the result. We went around 11 on a Sunday, so it was a nice chill vibe - not too busy and very relaxing. I felt the experience of the couples room was nice but like it was missing elements to make it romantic and opportunities to interact with one another which a oil or scrub would help with. Anyways the massages were well worth it and really good. We both ended up doing the special which combines Swedish with thai stretching. Felt really relaxed afterwards and just focused on hydration with tea and water the next two days. Slept really well. I will be back!

We had two hours til our massages so we used the facility to relax and use the jacuzzi. The outdoor shared jacuzzi was really nice, it's shared both by men and women. So I met my husband for thirty minutes to relax together then went back to the women's spa area to enjoy the sauna, steam room and the other baths. There is also a salt room you can sit back and relax. They have coffee and teas for everyone. Some snacks too. My massage was amazing. The masseuse did an amazing job. First she asked me what areas she should work on so I told her. It was amazing. This spa is one of the best in Vegas cause of the facility and the people that work here. I stopped by Golden Hour as a walk-in while waiting for my friends to arrive at the airport, which was only about 8 minutes away. I was greeted warmly as soon as I walked in, and they even helped me with my luggage--such a thoughtful touch! I was paired with Tammy for my manicure and Stephanie for my pedicure. Tammy was so sweet and really listened to what I wanted, delivering a simple, clean gel manicure that turned out beautifully. Stephanie was equally amazing for my pedicure; she not only gave a fantastic service but also included an incredible foot massage that made the whole experience even more relaxing. They did have a couple of TVs, and whatever music they were playing was all fun remixes from the early 2000s, which I enjoyed.

Instead, they immediately tried to upsell me on extremely expensive services. The most shocking part is that these prices are being charged by people who seem to lack even basic knowledge and skills in their profession. First of all, hygiene standards were practically nonexistent. The older woman who worked on my nails wore no gloves, used a UV lamp as a hand rest, and there was no dust extraction system running, meaning I spent the entire appointment breathing nail dust. Even worse, the tools used on me were simply wiped off and put back without any visible disinfection. Completely unacceptable. The woman removed my previous set so aggressively that she removed skin along with the product. Instead of properly preparing my cuticles, she used an e-file in such a careless manner that she cut almost every single finger, leaving me with multiple open wounds. I requested square nails, yet every nail ended up crooked and uneven. When I asked for a correction, I was told it was "too late." Too late for what exactly remains a mystery. Then came the most painful part. She applied some product from an unlabeled bottle, calling it a "base," and spread it directly onto the open cuts she had just created. The burning sensation was unbearable. After that, she proceeded to pour gel over both my nails and the wounds. Throughout the entire appointment, instead of acknowledging her mistakes, she repeatedly insisted that I was "allergic" in an apparent attempt to excuse the pain and burning she had caused. I am not allergic--this has been medically confirmed, and I have been getting my nails done regularly for over 10 years without ever experiencing anything remotely similar. Open wounds covered with chemicals are not an allergic reaction; they are the result of poor technique and negligence. I was in so much pain that I asked her to remove everything immediately because I simply wanted to leave. I walked out with bleeding fingers, damaged nails, and paid $25 for this experience. Had I not been desperate to leave because of the pain, I would not have paid even $1. The final appearance of my nails was honestly heartbreaking. I would never allow a client to leave in such a condition. Absolutely unacceptable service, terrible hygiene standards, lack of professionalism, and complete disregard for client safety. Looking at my fingers now, I finally understand why so many people avoid this part of town. I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this salon. I am attaching photos from the apocalypse I experienced. Rest assured that this will be published everywhere.
