Very accommodating! Originally wanted to set an appointment yesterday but we spoke and worked it out. Her office space was comfortable and stylized - super cute art wall. Then we just talked throughout the entire appointment on just about everything. Time FLLLLLLLLLEEEEW!! Omg. Just a fun time. I think I worn out my voice with how much we talked (I'm not very talkative on a daily basis, lol). As far as the appointment itself went - super nice. I honestly didn't come in thinking of a "theme" for my fullset acrylics. But dark galaxy, glittery black unicorn came to mind and we got to it. No pain when filing down my natural nails. Very gentle since they broke off from lifting heavy equipment at work. Definitely throw in freestyle if you like having much more flashier nails instead of the uniformed look. I had to follow-up to ensure Em was still coming, paid the up front $35 for the mobile appt. Then on the day of the appointment she cancels giving me no time to find someone else. I found myself in a dilemma. With the Covid concerns, I was unable to maintain my nail appointments. Six weeks passed and I did not want to risk any development of nail fungus since I swim many times a week. At almost age 70, it is more difficult to trim and maintain my toes and having been in the beauty industry all of my life I believe a woman should take care of her nails-- called attention to detail! I located "Em" and she immediately texted me back. As a former beauty expert, I did not expect an immediate response as a professional would never interrupt a service to take calls or text messages and being that it was early morning I received an immediate response. I placed the $40 deposit for travel and received many confirmations and updates until the time of my appointment. She texted that she was running late from a previous appt. and I would like to explain this in further detail. Beauty appts. are not an exact science. As a beauty expert with 40 years experience -- a professional is not late but some CLIENTS are. We also encounter clients who decide to "add on" a service during the appt. Em contacted me immediately and let me know she would be 30 minutes late which was not a problem as I know to allow a longer window for services when planning my day because this can and DOES happen. I can tell you after hiring hundreds of beauty artists for my company in my career (and with 150+ five star reviews)- she is a WINNER! She is priced right for a "mobile" service vs. going to a salon...and in this time of Covid-- you do not have any other options-- and thank goodness we have "Em"! P.S.
