It was almost as if a produce photo shoot was about to happen, but it's really how it looks daily. The craziest discovery was looking at the huge brussel sprouts at this store. It's like someone fed them steroids. I held one on my hand and it felt like I was about to change a light bulb. It was insanely huge! I was admiring the Daiya line of dairy-free cheezecakes. I also loved seeing my beloved Portuguese egg tarts at the bakery. Some specialty items included parm crisps. If you don't have time to make your own, you have two varieties at this store to pick up and enjoy. I also had fun looking at Holy Crap breakfast cereal. Although it was priced at $11 a bag, I polled a few of my friends, including one of my interns, who all said that it's delicious. I love when I learn about a product and it ends up being yummy! When they let you know our order is ready you simply go over to the shop and someone comes to the door to ask your name. You can do a tap payment through the window (they bring the machine to the window) and then the hand you your bag of goodies. We ordered a delicious bone-in rib steak. It was so juicy and delicious (and huge!). It came in vacuum sealed packaging for easy storage in the fridge or freezer, but we devoured it the same day. They also have various deli meats, cheeses, milk, and butter. Their freezers are stocked with various pre-made meals which look very tasty and worth trying on a busy night. Ended up leaving with three awesome sauces, one flattened whole Piri Piri chicken and a hot sausage. Cheryl was helping us today and she was just lovely!
