We stopped in here to watch the Club World Cup Finals while staying at a resort down a little further on the marina. It was a nice respite from the hot July heat. While they don't have A/C like most places around, they opened up the full glass walls to allow the marina breeze to cool us off. The service was excellent. Always attentive and quick to respond to our empty glasses. Several drinks and a chicken nacho later, we were pleased with the approximate $50 tab. The nacho for $10 was huge and had lots of toppings--- plenty to share among 2-3 people. The drinks were ice cold and a frosty mug was also offered up. We will definitely stop back in for a drink or a quick bite to eat, especially if there's a game on that we want to watch. read more

The waitstaff was friendly but the wait time for the food was very long. Over thirty minutes for our food, as it's all mostly friend, you would expect a much faster turn around. Also was not acknowledged for the wait time, even when we politely asked how much longer it would be. Food: Calamari- We ordered this but didn't even eat any due to the very strong smell of fish coming from them. We were nervous the batch wasn't going to be good. (0/5) Wings- The price on these seems to be a bit outrageous. The wings themselves are just okay, does come with a small side of fries. Fries were extremely salty. (3/5) Mozzarella Fingers- These were good. Can tell they are frozen beforehand but still good for a "sports bar". Not going to take up alot of space and time on this post but I just had to let everyone know that this place is a rip off. Came in to order some wings and they tried to sell me 16 or 32 oz. Wings and for the 16 oz you only get 6 wings for 420 pesos or approx. $28 US. Ordered 3 pc chicken fingers and it was still $15 US. We also decided to order 4 waters and never thought to ask how much the Fiji water was and low and behold it was $8 US. They must still think we in covid and trying to recoup all the money that was lost but I will never come here again when I'm in Cabo. The waitor was rude and obnoxious and had a nasty attitude because he thought he deserved a tip and after he sold us them $8 waters it was no way I was leaving him more than a $5 tip. Bill total was approx. $50 so the tip was appropriate for his behavior. read more

Monica's are server and she was really good. Javier was a chef and honestly the food was delicious! My husband and I shared the guac as an appetizer. I had the breaded chicken sandwich and my husband had the fish and chips which were fresh. My boyfriend were walking along the marina area of Cabos San Lucas and decided to stop here for a quick drink when we saw the fooseball table. The service and atmosphere were both great, as were our drinks. We were going to order food but decided against it after checking reviews. So after our intense fooseball competition, we decided to eat elsewhere. I observed other people eating and didn't hear any complaints or anything. When we got here I asked about the happy hour drink and half price wings since it was Tuesday. The waiter Angel said that only one applied so we decided to get the wings. Then when we started ordering drinks he said the one we wanted was not available. He wanted to upsell us more expensive shots. At the end when he brought the bill the wings were charged at full price! He also asked for a tip and I only tipped $100 pesos but when I checked my account I was charged more for the tip! It kind of ticked me off that we could only ordered a certain amount of wings so we kept ordering the most we could and would finish it and order more. The wings flavor were actually okay but the crazy part is we spent 2 hours in the restaurant 80% of the time went to waiting for the food, it was ridiculous. We visited Golden Legends during our family vacation trip last month. Food portions were fairly large, the burgers were huge. The variety of salas from mild to super hot were great. As we walked around the boardwalk for an ealry dinner before our next excursion, we were attracted to Golden Legends by their advertised boardwalk sign of Buy 1, get 1 Wednesday burger special. As we walked in, there was only one other family enjoying their meal which was great, we anticipated a short wait for our food. While looking through the menu the waiter mentioned the Happy Hour special of buy 1, get 2 drinks. Who wouldn't take advantage of that special! We ordered our drinks and some of us ordered appetizers. The drink order seemed to be the beginning of our frustration as he outlined the limitations of the special and what was left available in stock. As a couple of us ordered water, they brought bottled water for everyone and double the appetizers we ordered. We waited what seemed to be longer than what we should've waited for being the only other table without food at the time. (there was only one other family in the restaurant). When they delivered the bill is when the real frustration began. We were a family of 6. We all took advantage of the buy1, get1 burger special. We also took advantage of the drink special. Our bill came out to $200US. Keep in mind it should have been burger specials and happy hour prices. We also had a discount card from our resort wich awarded a 15% discount. When we asked for clarification of the bill, after a boisterous conversation back and forth with our waiter, I asked to speak with the manager. A lady came to our table to explain with our resort discount card she was unable to give us the advertised specials. So everything was charged at full price and then discounted 15%. Of corse, we decided the specials were well worth more than the 15% discount and we chose to forego the use of our resort card. The waiter then returned with an updated bill, which was now $189US. This completely made no sense to us. I asked the manager again to explain the pricing. She stated she included the discounts as we asked. So, I asked her if I walked in off the street I can buy 2 burgers with the special and 3 drinks for $11 because that is the discount you gave me from the full priced items as you stated. She said no, it would be more expensive than that. So I asked then why did we only get an $11 discount for what should have been a charge of 3 burgers and 3 drinks plus appetizers. A third time they went to adjust our bill. Not much more of a discount other than a few more dollars. I couldn't believe it. Again, I asked for an explaination. We were then told by the manager she was not able to offer all the discounts and specials we were offered in a single transaction. We can only get either the Wednesday special of the Happy Hour drink specials. I explained we were perfectly fine with foregoing the resort discount, however your waiter was well aware of what we were ordering and the specials we wanted to include. We have now explained it for a third time and our bill is still not correct with what you advertised nor what your waiter offered. I explained that none of this misunderstanding was on our behlaf but rather the waiter and herself. I asked why before you went to make the adjustment just now, why did not then mentioned we would only be able to take advantage of 1 of the specials. You said we couldn't use the resort card, but you didn't say anything about the combination of the other two specials. There was no answer to my question, which led to more frustration between everyone. At this point everything seemed to be misleading advertising to gain customers. I then asked, as a manager can you make this right for all of this inconvenience? She was adament about making no adjustments to our bill or providing any type of sincere apology on behalf of the establishment, the waiter nor herself. We paid our bill and was on our way. Our next trip to Cabo will never again include Golden Legends Sporrts bar. In reading other reviews (from other than local guides, this seems to be a common experience). Hopefully, leadership can better their customer service to match their food. Hopefully in reading this, you also look at other reviews besides Trip Advisor. read more

Service was terrible! Ordered wings and onion rings. Took 40 minutes to get the wings and another 30+ minutes for onion rings which were not full order but half order and fries on bottom of basket. Took 40+ minutes for quesadillas and when asked when it was coming, waitress said 1 minute. I waited 6 minutes and walked up to her and cancelled the order. They insisted that I take the order and I disagreed. The waitress called the manager who argued with me that we only waited 24 minutes and they had up to 30 minutes to get the order out to us. We asked for the bill and waited an additional 11 minutes for the bill. During that time the waitress avoided us by cleaning tables and the manager started talking to customers about the hockey game. It was not until we started to leave that the bill appeared. By the way, the wings were terrible, the fries dry but the onion rings were good. Too bad they didn't have enough of them. read more

Fun location on the marina near our condo. We stopped in to catch a football game we couldn't get on the television in our room. Our waiter was very attentive and changed the channel to the one we requested. Food was good... hamburgers, pizza, Mexican, lots of appetizer choices and drinks. SCAMMERS!!!!! Decent food, hockey and basketball were on. They tried to add a beer to my bill. We didn't order any beer. They promptly removed it from the bill, which was nice. However, when JOSE DIAZ brought us our new bill, I gave him my card to pay. I wrote down $200 pesos as a tip on the receipt and he proceeded to add a $550 peso tip to the machine where my card was being used. I ended up paying over double the tip I wanted to give.
