Agreed, it is better since new management took over. They are reasonably priced menu. We will be going back.

We rolled in with a full-on family entourage: my brother (don't let his Caucasian-ness fool you, he can handle the heat), my vegetarian little sister and her hubby, my middle sister (preparing for upcoming gallbladder surgery), my diabetic mom, and my teenage daughter, and me. Basically a menu stress test. And every single dish was a hit. Pan fried pork dumplings and crab rangoons were perfectly crispy, tofu spring rolls came with an addictive dipping sauce, pad kaprow (not a typo), crave-worthy pad Thai, and rich and flavorful chicken and red curry. The vegetarians were very happy too, which is always the true measure of success. The staff? Incredibly friendly and attentive without hovering. The vibe? Open, well-decorated, and absolutely a great date-night spot -- but just as perfect for a lively family dinner like ours. We'll be headed back soon!

Since it was close to Halloween, the ambiance was super cute, it was all decked out Halloween with a cute selfie station even! The food was very affordable, with lots of options to choose from. Overall great experience

But once you're inside, you realize this mother-and-daughter team is serving some of the most authentic Thai food you'll find anywhere in Delaware. We ordered a little bit of everything--starting with the satay and soup, both of which were warm, flavorful, and clearly homemade. The satay came perfectly grilled with a peanut sauce that could have been a meal on its own. The soup was the kind of comfort you don't expect to find unless someone's cooking for you at home. The Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao were both outstanding, each with its own distinct balance of sweetness, spice, and texture. You could tell nothing came out of a jar--the flavors were bright, clean, and layered. The red curry, rich and aromatic, had that perfect slow-building heat that keeps you reaching for more jasmine rice. And speaking of rice--it was cooked just right, fragrant and fluffy, the quiet star that pulled everything together. What makes Bangkok House truly special isn't just the food, though. It's the feeling you get while you're there. The care that goes into each dish, the relaxed, no-frills setting, and the pride this family takes in their craft all come through in every bite. My daughter, who goes to college nearby, swears it's the most authentic Thai food in Delaware--and after this meal, I believe her. If you're anywhere near Newark, skip the big-name places and come here instead. It's a small spot with a big heart, and it's the kind of meal you'll still be thinking about long after you've left.

This restaurant is located in a small group of street lined businesses, with parking along the street. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating on their patio. It was a chilly day, so we opted to sit inside. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive our entire visit. We ordered the Pad Garlic and Pad King lunch specials, both with chicken and hot spice level. The lunch specials come with a salad dressed with a sweet dressing. Our food was out in record time and was piping hot, so it's definitely a spot if you are in a time crunch- hello power lunch! We both thought our dishes were packed with flavor and although they had heat, we could have went with Thai Spicy. If we were local, this would definitely be our go-to spot!

1 Star - Absolute Rip-Off. Check Your Bag Before You Leave…read more I'd give them zero stars if I could. I ordered a large Tom Kha soup with both shrimp and chicken for pickup, and apparently, "large" means "half-empty" in their kitchen. To make matters worse, they completely forgot the chicken. I paid full price for a premium, multi-protein soup and ended up with a container of half-filled broth and a couple of sad shrimp. Charging customers full price for missing ingredients and cutting corners on portion sizes is a blatant rip-off. If you're going to order from Tasty Thai, bring a measuring cup, a magnifying glass, and check your food at the counter before you walk out. Absolutely ridiculous.

They have good Pad Thai and Thai iced tea as well! The green curry is just my favorite. Great customer service too, which I experienced especially today. I was wrongly charged $115 instead of $17 for my meal and didn't notice, they called me shortly after to fix the mistake. Honest people, which I respect! Try it out sometime if you enjoy Thai food.

It was the only one with wide noodles. Sooooo good. My friends enjoyed their food too. One got crab & shrimp fried rice, the other got the dish w the cellophane noodles and mushrooms. All the dishes had enough to take home for a second meal. It is all made from scratch and to your desired temperature, regarding spice. The actual restaurant is...quaint. it's small and clean. I don't think it would hold more than 30 ppl. The bathroom is a single and the door didn't lock for me. I just peed and prayed. Lol. Service was OK. Considering we were the only ones in the restaurant, the server seemed like he didn't want to be bothered. Food came out quickly tho. The lemon marscapone cake looked delicious, so I got one to go. Since then, I've been too many times. Food is consistently fresh, quick and delicious! Service is always mid. Try the Thai tea and mango rice... oh and the basil rice. Listen, I could go on, everything is good.

To start we order the roti and chicken satay. Both were super delicious and you can't go wrong with getting either of these. The standout in both dishes was the sauce. The roti was hot, buttery, crispy but soft- and came with a super yummy side of curry. The chicken was very juicy and well seasoned. The sauce was perfect! Peanuty but not too sugary or fatty. For mains we got the drunken noodle and an off menu noodle dish. The drunken noodle was delicious. Noodles well cooked, well seasoned, not too many filler veggies. 10/10! The other noodle dish was a special item that our waitress offered. It had wide noodles in a lobster sauce. It was very unique! Overall Nasi Malay is worth a visit and I'd come back

Over two years of eating here when visiting the area, (I and my wife visit the area every summer to sail the area.) Nasi is our first choice for a nice lunch or dinner out. They always treat us like family... very friendly and kind. Nasi recently updated the interior to a more open plan, with tables along one side, and the sushi bar on the other. Having always ordered Malaysian dishes, we tried their sushi on our most recent visit and thoroughly enjoyed it. Still, our favorite dishes draw from the Malaysian fare; a rare and delicious variety.
