I live in Lakewood near cerritos abs most gel manicures around my place is about 30 bucks. So when I came here and saw it was 26, I was excited about the price. I have a nail lady, but I think she's at Cambodia right. Is. So this is why I went here. Its been awhile since I got my nails done. So I get this old rose color. The lady who did my nails moved super quickly and not carefully. If I didn't maneuver my hands, I might have gotten marks on my nail. She also painted close to the cuticle which could cause it to lift. After she painted, she filed my nails again. So this causes scratches on the sides and chipping on the tips later if you file after painting (I learned a lot from my nail lady ). There was lifting on the side of my thumb, and so she had to re do that. So I expected the gel to probably lift in a few days instead of over a week. Oh well. The one positive thing was the hand massage after my nails were done. she did do a real good job, and I felt super relaxed after. At least I tried this place out. They're open pretty early on Saturdays only reason why I decided to stop by. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I went in for a full set. The lady doing my nails had to have been new. She didn't know what she was doing. She put way too much acrylic to where it dripped down all the sides of my nails and dried. As she was trying to take them off she cut me on every finger. I finally Told her to leave them I'm done. They did a really cute design on my feet and like I said it was affordable so great I was sold. But I went back and decided to change the color on my feet and since the nails on my hand could break I thought I'd do dip manicure as well. Let me just say, my pedicure literally came off the day of... I am not joking. My hands are insanely chunky and the design is not even at all, one French tip is chunkier than the other. I've been here twice now. The first time was probably a year ago. Both visits I walked in on a whim because I actually had a PTO day. This spot is in the same shopping center as the threading salon I go to. There was no wait when I came in mid week in the afternoon. I was greeted with masked smiles and friendly hellos. I was seated right away and met Lily (Lili?). I'm not sure how she spells her name but she was great! I picked my color off the wall while she filled the basin with warm water. I usually get gel but chose a regular polish this time. We chit chatted a little bit about how hot the day was and typical pleasantries but she also let me close my eyes and enjoy the massage chair. It was a much needed self care treat while the kids were at daycare. Lily took her time and confirmed how short to cut my nails before clipping away and trimming. She was gentle and impeccable with cleaning up cuticles and stray polish. She also worked on my callous. That was the only thing I thought could have been better. It seems like most other places let the callous solution sit longer buy maybe in mistaken. Don't let the sad looking shopping center deter you. They're affordable and do a nice job. Overall, I would come back to see Lili for sure! This is also the first time I didn't have some sort of in grown nail issue after an aggressive pedi, so YAY for that! read more

Just felt a liiiiiittle rushed compared to other salons I've been to. *BUT* she was definitely diligent with the sides of the nails that rarely get painted on correctly, which made it up for me. I'm not too critical (and by critical, I mean OCD) with my toenails compared to my fingernails so I'd definitely come back here for a quick fix for my toes. ...But if I'm looking for a picture-perfect manicure, I'd go somewhere else. read more

WORST gel mani of my life. UNSANITARY, RUSHED, DISASTER. I should have followed my gut instinct to leave when I first walked in: a small shop jam packed with hella nail techs watching viet dramas with no a/c on when it was about 95 degrees hot outside. Sadly, I was in a rush to get my nails done before seeing my fiancé that evening and sucked it up. The lady at the front pounds her table to get my attention and have me sit at her station. I oblige, and she soaks my nails in a bowl of water. Without pushing back my cuticles, she begins vigorously cutting my cuticles. The nail file looked totally used with nail dust from lots of previous use, and i noticed she threw the cuticle cutter back in her "sanitary box" that she just used on me full of my cuticle skin! Eeek!! She completely rushed thru my entire mani, from the painting to the "massage"... It was so hot in there, that the lotion kept evaporating. When she taps my hands to let me know she's done, I tell her that the color is uneven and the edges are messed up. Ladies, you know it's bad mani when the color is all over your cuticles, the nail beds are uneven, and the paint is bubbling. She reasons its because my nails are so short. WTF REALLY??!!? I've had plenty of gel manicures with short nails and no problem. This was an absolute nightmare. I need to redo my nails elsewhere far, far away. Look at my photos - you've been warned. Update. The lady fixed it for me but blamed it on my color choice saying the blue is thicker so I picked another color. I've been getting gel nails done for years! Well, two days after my new gel nails, it's peeling again even with the "thinner color." She also said it might be better if my nails were shorter so she cut them without filing or making sure they were straight, my index and middle finger nails are crooked. read more

I took a chance on this place after reading some good reviews and I had a horror pedicure and paid $45 for it!! I wanted acrylic toenails and she didn't even use a nail she just shaped the acrylic and they were so lumpy and uneven. On top of this I got a callus remover scrub and she scraped my skin!!!!! (Posting a picture) Anyways I called and went back and they fixed them with a different lady and she did a good job.. After 30 minutes of waiting and not being acknowledged, another women walks in without an appointment. I know she didn't have one because the nail technician first said 30 minutes but then after a few minutes, told her to sit down on one of the stations and gave her colors to look at. Do not come here if you value the condition of your nails. All I wanted was my gel removed because I didn't feel like removing it myself. They removed the gel alright, and 3 layers of my nails along with it. Not to mention that they didn't even manage to get it all off. They used an extremely course grit nail file to file it off leaving my nails thin and ragged. When I didn't tip on my $7, 10 minute procedure she asked me twice, no tip?
