I've been coming to Rainbow Nails for about a year now and have always had a great experience. The service is consistently good and everyone is very welcoming. Leslie, the owner, is friendly and accommodating, Ana gives great pedicures, and Thomas always does an amazing job bringing my daughters' nail ideas to life. Nice Staff, But Hygiene Concerns ... I went in hoping to relax and treat myself, but I felt uncomfortable shortly after arriving. There was a strong odor in the salon, and during my appointment I noticed cleanliness was not being maintained as carefully as I expected. I also didn't see any visible tool sterilizing equipment in the salon, which made me feel uneasy throughout the service. I tried to focus on the positive since the salon was recommended by a friend, but overall I didn't feel fully comfortable with the hygiene standards, so I probably wouldn't return. The nail design itself was okay, although some of the extension shaping came out flatter than I expected. I truly hope the salon improves the cleanliness experience because I think that would make a big difference. read more

My husband and I were in the area for a party and afterwards wanted to get a pedicure. (Well I wanted to and he was driving ) We drove by this nail salon and decided to give it a try. It was a Sunday afternoon and luckily there was no wait. The salon looks fairly clean and they have massage chairs for the pedicures. Two must haves for me! They have a sign posted on the wall with prices, which is helpful for baseline decisions. But when you sit down they give you a menu for the different packages. A basic pedicure is $25, but if you want a callous removal it's $36. They do the upsell you often while you are seated, after you've chosen your package. Which I don't love, but I get why they ask. We were in and out in about 35-40 min. It was a nice time. Relaxing to a certain extent. And the staff is really nice. If you pay via Zelle you don't have to pay the $1 credit card fee. read more

I had an amazing experience at rainbow nails. The staff are attentive and they take good care of me. The shop is cleaned and organized. I love the designs. I get pink cat eye with red bows and pink polka dots. I also have pink pedicure. They offer $60 for gel mani pedi. If you add designs and cat eye like me then there are extra charges. Stumbled across this hidden gem when I was in the area. I just needed a simple and clean pedicure. Their pricing is great in this economy. It's hard to find spots where it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I love that they also do gel combos. I decided to treat myself to a Volcano Luxury Pedi which includes sea salt soak, classic pedicure, callus treatment, sugar scrub exfoliation, mud mask, hot stone massage with candle oil service, and paraffin. I decided to upgrade to gel for only $10. It was a very relaxing experience especially with the candle experience. The staff was super sweet and friendly. Would definitely come back! read more

Been going here since pre-covid and I'll probably go here forever! So I come here pretty regularly, approximately every 3 weeks. I usually make an appt but sometimes have been a walk in. Nobody knows my sensitive hands better than Rainbow Nails! Or how I like to get my old nails soaked off and then cut them down myself. Or that I like my almond shape pointy-er because mine go blunt pretty quickly. I love glitter, I love the magnetic cat eye, and sometimes I like a little bit of chrome. And they kill it everytime! I dont have any photos but in June of 2024 I got a different color on each nail and it took a while but they did so great! My nails are sensitive bc I tend to self-remove them sometimes, and my hands/skin is also sensitive (eczema unfortunately) but they are really good at being careful, and reading me if I'm getting uneasy. I dont like a ton of cuticle work done (I have a drill at home so I like to do it myself) and its never been an issue. Tons of colors to pick from. They have gel and regular polish. Acrylics, dip, and gel-x available, and I believe builder gel but I'm not even sure what that is. I dont get pedicures (I'm always in flip flops so a pedicure wont last on me), but the pedi-chairs are always bumpin so I'm sure the pedicures are bomb too. It's not a fancy boujiee place, like youre not getting complimentary champagne. But they do a great job and the pricing is so good. - Walk ins okay but highly recommend calling and making an appointment l. - Zelle, card, or cash. They have a stamp card where if you pay cash you will earn a discount on a future visit. read more

I have never had a better pedicure experience than the one I just received at Rainbow Nails, everything was perfect! The lemon scrub has my skin and feet feeling baby soft, the massage was the perfect pressure and for a lengthy amount of time, and they paid extra attention to detail when painting my toes. I could have fallen asleep during the pedicure I was so happy and relaxed. Everyone who worked there was sweet and genuine, especially the owner! They sterilize their instruments and the nail filers are single use, and you can take them home. The staff is nice. Overall, it was a great experience. Thao is so nice and friendly. Awesome customer service. I got a relaxing pedicure. They started me with a warm foot bath with a therapeutic massaging water jet and rose petals. They have a wide range of colors and designs, and I decided on a light pink pastel with a chrome finish. I love the result. My feet are so soft and the color is amazingly beautiful. They only use sterilized equipment and they open new ones in front of you. They also use new files for each customer and you can take them home if you want to reuse them. Came in on a Sunday to put off doing errands a little longer and had the warmest welcome from the owner Leslie. The lovely Anna helped me with my pedicure today and boy did I need it. They have a bunch of pedicure options and scents, I chose Lemon Quench which included a sea salt soak, sugar scrub, mud mask and massage butter. It did give me peace of mind that they opened a new set of tools and bowl liner before working on my feet. She took her time sculpting my toe nails and exfoliating my legs and feet to finally get them Spring time ready! With so many salons in Orange County I've found it difficult to find a place that has been reasonably priced and consistent. The service here was amazing and the price was extremely reasonable. I can't wait to be back! On the way out they also mentioned that they do lashes and brows as well by appointment only. read more

Decided to check out this nail salon near my house since it looks like it's under new ownership--and overall, I had a great experience. Thao, the manager, was super welcoming from the start. She answered the phone when I called to ask about walk-ins and even followed up with me when we were taking a little while to arrive. That kind of service really stood out. I had Thi for my pedicure and she was amazing--super gentle, detailed, and really took her time. Then Nanci did my full set with ombré acrylics, and I was so happy with how they turned out. The shape, the blend--everything looked clean and polished. The only downside is that one of my nails just broke--and it's only been a week. For a set in the $80-$90 range, I was hoping they'd last a bit longer. It's a little disappointing because I genuinely wanted to leave a 5-star review across the board. I'm so glad I found my new nail salon totally worth the 20-minute drive! I got a gel pedicure from Anna and she was absolutely amazing. She let me know she didn't speak much English, but honestly, we communicated just fine we were talking and even laughing during the appointment. She made sure I got exactly what I wanted and was so sweet the entire time. She really took her time scrubbed all the dead skin off, gave me a great massage, and left my feet feeling so soft and refreshed. The polish looks perfect! Extremely disappointed in the service today. I left my favorite nail spa and decided to come here more than a year ago now because the service I got from one of the newly hired tech that day was so nice and very good. The previous services were good too. Today was a different experience, Lesley (if that was really her name) the oldest nail tech who did my pedicure and "supposedly" callus removal did a poor job. She barely rubbed my heels (seems in a rush of some sort maybe because it's lunch time) leaving no callus removed coz i could still feel it on my foot. I've been telling her but she kept saying "it's good now, it's nice" I have to go to my previous nail spa to just get my callus rubbed again. She was already putting coating on my nails when I had to remind her my nails were not filed yet, most of the time they use the electric nail file but today she didn't. The are no customers waiting but she was about ready to send me out 2 minutes after putting on my wet polish. This place is just walking distance to where I live but today will be my last day of visit, going back to my old nail spa with consistent customer service. read more
