Just had lunch here with my husband and the food and price is fantastic! This has been my husbands go-to spot since he was a kid & since we were in the area today he brought us here for lunch. We ordered combo C that comes with two sides. We ordered to share chow mein, orange chicken, and green bean chicken for our combo C. We also ordered 2 egg rolls, 1 Snapple, and almond cookies. Let me just say that the food was very delicious, I really like that the chow mein noodles are thick. The orange chicken is good, and I especially liked that the green beans and carrots in the green bean chicken still had a good crunch to it and not soggy like in other places I've tried this. The serving size is more than enough for two people & the price is way beyond reasonable. For the entire order the cost was less than $20! Mind blowing. The staff was friendly and attentive. I was very pleased with the warmth the employees exhibited when taking my order and answering my questions regarding what ingredients were in the choices I was debating. I went with the half and half chow mein/steamed rice with beef & broccoli as the main entree. I was very pleased all together. This is a fast-casual restraint similar to the infamous Panda Express and it doesn't claim to be something it's not. Today was my first time here! I had chow mein, orange chicken, & BBQ pork. They give large portions. As far as the taste, the orange chicken was great. The bbq pork was okay.. So as of today, 10/5/18, I will no longer eat in this Chinese fast food place due to the lack of hygiene, customer service, food quality, and cleanliness of the restaurant. My boyfriend and I were really hungry and felt like having Chinese food for dinner so I told him I knew a spot. As soon as we arrive here at Golden Panda we saw that everyone was just sitting or leaning against the wall and we approach the food window and one of the guys ask if half and half of rice and chow mien so we said yes. Once we finished putting our plates together we were going to pay and we noticed the walls in the kitchen specifically the one behind the fridge that's straight down the pass way from front of the house to the kitchen were full of gunk, grease and other build up. After paying we sat at a corner table and my boyfriend instantly complained that the edges of the tables were super sticky that even his sweater would stick to the edges. I want to say that about 5-7 minutes after we sat down and began eating the girl who was at the cashier that charged us told us that they were closed. By the way this was 9:26 p.m and they close at 9:30 I know that's it now much difference but they technically weren't closed yet. So then I tell the girl at the cashier if that meant we have to leave and she's like yea we're closed, we close at 9:30 p.m when in reality it wasn't that time yet. So we hurry and leave and we noticed that the dirty tray we used and out above the trash bin was just left there without being washed and the food they had on the line was just taken to the back and left on the table they have in the back without being thrown away or the dishes washed and the table where we ate wasn't wiped down from the food debris or anything. So those things just make me think how poor their hygiene and cleanliness is. !!!! read more
