*****Super Long Review***** Pros- * Multiple years of experience * affordable *friendly *local in the Bronx *fast response Cons: *Go if you want a groomer that don't follow directions or even attempt to here. *If you want your dog to be completely shaven not trimmed to here! * Want to waste your money Initially we took our 4 month old Malshi puppy here to get a mini groom , face, paws, ears cleaning and sanitary trim . we were pleased with it and the groom, she's super friendly and knowledgeable with years of experience which we loved, but after we notice our puppy dragging her butt after she uses the bathroom and licking herself , we thought maybe she's getting use to the groom . we keep checking her everyday and notice it was getting red and more angry looking . so i treated it and it calm down. so we decide to take her back for a full groom 1 week later. When i dropped her off i made sure to give my sister directions and pictures as to what to show the groomer what to do, and what not to do to avoid any mix up. remind you I am a super particular dog mom and is on top o everything regarding my puppy heath and comfort. My puppy came back shave down to about 1- .5 inch fur, butt completely expose ,she came back a different dog. with more irritation and redness and scooting. we notice more discomfort and redness, turns out my puppy came back with post-grooming bacterial folliculitis-furunculosis due to a small cutt during her sanitary shave not trim that allow bacteria to enter.\ update coming soon. I used to drive to port Chester to have Marley Groomed. Today I tried this place! Amazing job to the ladies there! Great job! It has such a nice feeling to it, it just feels like they are animal people. Briefly spoke to owner/groomer and she sounds knowledgeable! Place smells great too. They do a great job! I loved the 20 minutes till we are done Phone call and text. They charge extra for aggressive biter (my Marley) and matted which is understandable. So you can ask them about that! I will be bringing Marley in March 1st for another groom! I am very pleased! Hope they stay around! Overall, great cut for Marley, nice people, reasonable prices....I will return. I didn't get a discount for this review, nor do I know anyone there. read more

My favorite groomer! I live in white plains and don't mind making the commute because my maltipoo is notorious for looking awful after a grooming session. I can honestly say this is the cutest she's ever looked after an appointment. On February 17,2021 I brought my baby Girl Mia (6)yrs in to the shop for her regular 2-3 month groom. My baby is a Yorkie a well behaved dog..she has been a long time client from the past owner we have never had any issues. The new owner is a nice person from what I have known, when I arrived with my dog the receptionist a young man was very rude, inpatient, and offensive he stated my dog appointment was the following day not the day I came in, and told me I should of received a text confirming the appointment, I explained I have never received any text or response from the shop never. I explained that I only spoke with him on the phone and paid my deposit to cash app and called back to the shop to see if he received. He did and said see you on Wednesday 2/17. Well the owner came over to say she will take Mia if was the day of her appointment or not it was ok. The man became a bit annoyed and blamed the mix up on the computer system and that I didn't receive any response because he put the information incorrectly. Upon the pickup of my baby everything looked fine as usual, but as I drove away I noticed Mia was having a hard time opening her eye .. freaking out I called back the shop to return and the groomer flushed her eye, while I was waiting with Mia the receptionist seem to think something was of humor. I paid not much attention to him because I was worried about my baby, all night I cried looking at her realizing Mia eye was swollen and red. She had to go to the emergency ( expensive) she suffered some trauma, I decided to read the comments and I believe my baby was abused by someone in that shop. I called the groomers but no answer as of yet. I am hurt, disappointed, very unhappy with the establishment. My baby is not the same (unhappy). Update 2/20 spoke to the groomer I must say she was very concerned about Mia. She stated the trauma could have happened due to Mia being stressed when she got her nails cut. She expressed that she would cover the bill or half of the dr Bill. I am so happy to say that she reinsured that no one has access to the dogs and grooming them but her and her assistance. I feel a little more comfortable after speaking with her. read more

Love. Love. Love. Was looking for my baby boy to be groomed last minute. First time experience and was awesome. They do Walk Ins and Appointments. Prices are unbelievable. Joelissa is remarkable she knew exactly was needed and what I wanted without even asking. She knows exactly what she ja doing...I tell you I was shocked when I seen him my baby was so White and Fluffy!!!! He felt comfortable as well. We took him to Pelham Manor to get his food at Petsmart and you have no idea how many compliments we received, of course I said it wasn't Petsmart but it def was Golden Paws over at Webster. Came here for the first time. Referred by a co-worker. Took my dog here who happened to be a hot mess / matted if I must say. Let me just say to have walk-ins throughout the day is soooo sooo convenient for people who work 6-7 days a week and for EMERGENCIES. I called this place about 3 times, and every person who answered was soo helpful ! The staff was so welcoming. When i picked up my dog , I was more then happy, he looked better then ever ! I was surprised at how well they groomed him. I will definitely be coming here allll the time . Love this place ! I cant wait to bring him back !!! read more

Honestly this place is very inexperienced. I brought my Dog in for a grooming and explained to them how I wanted them to cut/trim his hair and they said okay they will take their time with him. When I came to pick him up, i wanted to freak out because they shaved off all of his hair down to bare skin! Unbelievable and they charged me $70 for something I could've done myself. They have little kids running all over the store playing with the dogs as well. Unprofessional. Save your time AND your money. Don't follow these other reviews you see online. I loved going with both of my dogs but then I referred my mother and she took her Maltese to get groomed and a flea bath. Never will I ever recommend anyone taking their pets there she's understaffed on some days and she's neglectful to the dogs they roam around no leash and she must of not watched the dog because my moms dogs can never walk the same she first mentioned the dog eat plastic and numerous of things then the next day the dog could not stop shaking and could barely walk we come to find out the dog had a horrible hard fall and from either the kennel that she forgets to close the door and he must of fell from either the kennel or the bath tub either way she's way too busy to even know what happened she offered to pay half of our medical bills that turned out to be over $1,200 and now our dog still can't walk or run or even jump the same ! I do not recommend this place to anyone she just very careless with where to put the dogs especially if they have anxiety going to groomers there's not enough eyes on the dogs unattended to fall so hard and she had no clue on what happened !
