Working to their estimate, LCG removed our old roof, replaced damaged plywood, and installed new roofing and skylights. They were careful and professional throughout. From the very beginning, Serafin was responsive, communicative, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to work with. He answered every question, explained things without making me feel like I should already know the answer, and kept me informed throughout the entire process. I always knew what was happening, what was coming next, and who was responsible for what. And perhaps the greatest compliment I can give is that very little went wrong--which, on a major project on a 101-year-old house, is no small thing. But there were a few moments when something needed attention, and that is where I really saw the quality of the company. Every snag was met with responsibility rather than defensiveness, and with swift, practical remediation. I never felt like I had to chase anyone down or argue to have something addressed. Serafin simply listened, figured it out, and took care of it. The roof itself is beautiful. We went with a Viejo blended tile, which gives the new roof variation and character rather than making it look like a brand-new, uniform roof was dropped onto a century-old house.
