Golden Rooster let's talk! My friends went to this place and was raving how good the Korean chickens wings and corn cheese were. I had to check it out. Going through the menu it's an up-scale bar food but the food is outstanding. I pride my self is being able to taste to the difference in a good or bad wing and the Golden Roosters wings were fantastic. Some of the best wings in Seattle. You can pick the favorite Korean wings and then some hot ones. You can even pick the level of friedness. I like my wings definitely with a crunch but not to much batter where you can't find the meat. These were perfect. We also got some corn cheese. The dish was big and I was thinking of ordering another one to go. However, besides the amazing wings, the real winner of the show is the udon carbonara in which you can do the shrimp flavor which I loved or the beef Bulgogi . My friends were drinking the sauce. Everything on the menu is delicious. 5/5. Will definitely go back!

My friend introduced me to this fun Korean spot recently. It has a cool "secret" entrance and opens onto the back alley on warm days. We tried a variety of dishes, and they were all phenomenal! The fried chicken was very crispy and flavorful! 10/10 We had the corn cheese as well and it was so gooey and melty. Delicious! The creamy udon noodles were a big hit. Highly recommended! They also have some great tasting cocktails on the menu. The staff were awesome! Very friendly and helpful. I look forward to trying this place again soon!

Located near pioneer square and walkable from most downtown office locations, this place had amazing chicken wings. They were cooked Korean fried chicken style, where is it little to no breading. It is double fried, giving it an amazing crispiness with a delicious and juicy interior. I could have devoured 20 on my own. We got a couple orders of the cheese tteokboki. It was good. Next time I'll get the spicier version.

I went here with a friend during a Monday weeknight to a very empty restaurant that quickly filled up as we sat down and ate. There's plenty of seating inside, including tables for large groups and bar seating. Three big TVs are placed in the dining area where the cashier and kitchen are, and they were broadcasting football at the time but we couldn't hear much from the speakers. Personally, I loved the service here! They were quick and fast on getting any water refills or utensils my friend and I needed. They even gave me and my friend a sample of their KBBQ wings before we ordered! We ordered the bulgogi tteokbokki, chicken cream udon and a 9-piece regular chicken combo meal that comes with two sides (we chose chicken chicharron and corn cheese). The creamy udon was my most favorite dish due to it having a ton of flavor and having a rich texture to it. The bulgogi tteokboki felt plain despite the bulgogi meat inside. Their chicken wings and the sides that we chose were delicious. Eventually as more people came inside the restaurant, one of the servers turned the volume up for the game that was broadcasting, and the place definitely felt more like a sports bar than when I first came in. Their KBBQ wing sample was very good and I'd come back again to have them next time!

First time here and service was amazing! Owner was very informative and even let our group try their kbbq wings before ordering! We ended up ordering the kbbq wings and the k-secret wings. The kbbq wings are lightly breaded and crispy! And the k secret wings were more battered but our favorite as the chicken was super juicy!! We will come back for sure!

Nice place with friendly staff. Got their tofu burrito. Inside was a lot of crispy fried tofu, fries, cheese, and a bit of veg (cabbage, I think). A little dry, so the salsa was key. That tasted like it was from a jar but was totally fine. Their onion rings are great. Wanted a nonalcoholic beer and was happy they had Athletic.

Come here for the wings and service !! The staff was so friendly and helpful, they made the experience fun!! The KBBQ wings were everything I wanted them to be! The hot was hot!! The sides are not the star of the dish for sure! But the wings will bring you back!!

Wandering downtown Seatle in the Pioneer Square area can be an adventure, this time we stumbled across the Golden Rooster and had some really delicious fried chicken and fries. The Soy Garlic is amazing. We also got some thighs and dums with Buffalo sauce. Taste was incredible, but the thighs seemed a bit small. The fries were ok. They need some special proprietary seasoning to stand up to the wings in my mind... Over all a great experience. I hope they do well, we'll be back for more.

    Jmo rocks

Service was great and friendly, new jukebox was nice. Ordered the 6 wing and fries combo and a jmo and a lager. The food was honestly a 2 out of 5. Nothing seemed as crispy as it should have been. I'm from California where KFC is very popular. Bon Chon, vons and BBQ Chicken all make Korean Fried Chicken and probably the best is Bonchon. Twice fried at least so it is crispy and delicious. This place should try to make a soy garlic sauce and a spicy korean sauce. Should twice fry at least with a little more rice flour or cornstarch in the batter. Cool location and lots of space. Nice people too.

The server had a huge amount of tables and she was definitely running around to get to everyone. Considering the crowd that day I was actually happy with the service. I understand how hard it is to accommodate a huge crowd with the noise along with getting to all of the customers having worked in restaurants in my past. So thanks to our server, we did pay up before the game was done making it easy to leave at the end. I'd go back to the Pumphouse again because of nostalgia and ease! Oh and the location is definitely handy.

By the time we had dinner, although hungry, it was past 8 and we needed to eat a little lighter and mostly had apps, so not sure how light that meal really was. Everyone enjoyed their dish. Because it was a bit cold, my younger sister got the fried chicken ramen. Fried chicken was not chicken katsu but fried chicken. The chicken was a bit salty while the ramen had a good amount of spice to it. Ramen broth was really good, especially on a cold night for me being from Hawaii. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the cheese perogies. I enjoy perogies and haven't had any while on this trip to Seattle so a bit of a bummer. It was more like cheese ravioli. However best part of dinner was having the family together. And we ended the night on a good note. And the staff, so sweet. We appreciate you all for accommodating our family. The seasonal veg was brussells sprouts which could have been roasted a bit more to crispy for me but that's a personal preference. This is way more satisfying than the food you'd get at your typical local bar. I've been to The Bridge a half dozen times and every time has delivered. Solid food. Good service. Great outdoor patio. Neighborhood vibes - the type of place where the bartenders know and recognize the locals, and the locals are regulars. I like that. It's a welcoming place, casual, laid back, and though I haven't been there during too many sports games, even when it's on, it doesn't seem to get too rowdy. Brunch is a must do, with options like the Benny flight. Definitely one of the less known brunch spots in my opinion, but even so, can still get busy so go early. Only reason I've done 4 stars is I've had a few times where service was a little slow. Would absolutely return again and again and have recommended to many friends. Keep up the great work team, may you be successful for many years to come.

I made a reservation ahead of time, but when we got there around 8 pm we realized we probably didn't need one because it was seat yourself and still pretty open. No complaints though, it made it easy to grab a table and settle in. The vibe was cool. Definitely a sports bar feel with TVs around, and as the night went on the DJ started getting set up which I can imagine makes it a fun spot on a Friday night for people meeting up after work or hanging out with friends. We decided to share a few things so we could try a little bit of everything. We ordered the catfish bites, lemon pepper wings, garlic parmesan wings, and macaroni and cheese. I'll start with the positives because the service was great. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful, which always makes a difference. Food-wise, it just didn't totally hit for me. The catfish bites had a really tasty batter, but the texture threw me off a little. I personally like my catfish cooked a little harder, and these were a bit soft for my liking. The lemon pepper wings were a little too salty for me, and the wings themselves weren't cooked quite the way I like them. I tend to like my wings cooked a little harder, so these felt a bit soft and bulky to me (if that makes sense). The garlic parmesan wings were okay flavor-wise, but still similar in texture. The macaroni and cheese was okay. Nothing bad, just pretty standard. The menu itself has a good mix of comfort food and bar favorites like chicken and waffles, shrimp & grits, burger & fries....so there are definitely options to try. Overall, the service were great, the vibe was cool and I can definitely see this being a fun spot once the DJ gets going and the place fills up. The food just didn't quite land for me personally this time. I gave it 3 stars, but if Yelp allowed half stars it would probably be closer to a 3.5 for me. I'd still be open to coming back and trying a few other things on the menu.
