I spoke to Nichole and she was kind, and very helpful. I was super nervous because it was my shipoo's first time going to them but she helped to ease my nerves. When I dropped her off she was shivering but Nichole took her and hugged her to try and soothe her. When I returned my dog was happy, beautiful and smelling great! I have to say, I have never seen My baby so happy after grooming but she was super excited. That meant a lot and really eased my stress! Thank you everyone at Dog essentials! She took absolutely wonderful care of and I trusted her % and even got to meet her who is much bigger than mine. I cherish the pictures of them together, showing my dog as a mini Pyr I also started to learn about raw feeding and had seeds planted in my mind which now I am committed to and have spent many hours researching and am working towards obtaining unofficial certification. I was absolutely devastated when she left her location and I'm not sure if she is grooming anymore, but I wish that I could find her again at this point. I found out thru our convo that she has a Great Pyr of her own.(+) We decided on a time and price, and she even got me in earlier because of a cancellation.(+) Got there and met her Father and her Pyr, she looked Dalton over and I explained exactly what I was looking for, and I could tell she had the experiences she boasted about!(+) a Few hours later, she sent me a picture of Dalton as he was almost done and I headed that way. She let me know of some certain areas that needed more attention and detailed what she did overall!(+) I was very pleased with the outcome! He certainly looked great! I brought my 8 year old cavachon in for a full groom today and was absolutely blown away…read more Usually we just take her to the local petco near the mall, but they always seem over priced and just walking in there my pup gets anxious and starts crying. We walked into ruff cuts and Buttercup was happily exploring and walking around while I talked to the groomer. Less than 2 hours later I get the call that she is ready and I picked her up. This is easily the best hair cut my dog has ever had and she's in a good mood to boot! The pricing is actually very reasonable. For a cavalier mix it was only $49 which is VERY competitive with the larger pet chains. Of course according to their website, grooming prices vary by breed so make sure to ask. I'll happily pay that for the quality of service we got today. We will definitely be returning for all of my dogs grooming needs!

Amanda asked what I wanted done, then actually pulled up pictures online to confirm it was the look I was seeking for my long haired chihuahua. I'm sure we've all been there, when you ask for a trim (for yourself) and get way too much hair cut off. Well, she was making sure I knew what I was asking for for my pup as well, so that I wasn't shocked when she did what I thought I wanted and picked her up a little while later. My pup can be nervous and get anxious but Amanda was able to handle her and groom her so that she was looking amazing with her new cut, and smelling even better when I arrived to pick her up! I'd definitely recommend this place to any dog owner, and you can tell that Amanda is passionate about her work and A TRUE ANIMAL LOVER!!! Your pup will be in such great hands and you'll be thrilled with the experience and how soft your fur baby is when you get back to pick up your pup! The first time I took him to Honey's Haven Danielle had to even out his coat from all the prior mishaps. She takes her time with him and does a really good job considering he's a squirmy nervous wreck. I love that he comes home super soft, clean and smelling fresh.
