Fantastic experience. We were traveling from LAX to Disneyland and wanted an alternative to the Disneyland shuttle, taxi or rental car. After doing a little internet research I decided on Golden Star Limousines and I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. A huge plus is Golden Star provided booster and toddler car seats for my children which made our airline travel much easier! The booking was very simple and when I called to confirm my reservation the day prior to my arrival I was told that when I landed I would have a text message from my driver. Turned on my phone and there it was. Within 5 minutes of getting my bags I was out front loading them into the car. The car was extremely clean and our driver (Ali) could not have been more friendly. The ride was very comfortable and we enjoyed our conversation with Ali. We had also booked them for our return trip to LAX and the whole family was excited when we again had Ali as our driver. Our pickup time was 3PM and Ali pulled up at 2:45 and was ready to go when our bags were delivered. The ride back was equally smooth, conversation was fun and the airport drop off was simple. I have already passed my recommendation on to a travel agent friend who specializes in Disney vacations and she planned to add Golden Star to her list of preferred providers based on my feedback. I would not hesitate to recommend Golden Star to anyone and I will definitely use them the next time I fly to LA. read more

We couldn't possibly have asked for more ! Robert Basha, the owner of Transtar was our driver on a recent trip to the LA/Anaheim area. He was an absolute delight. Professional, friendly, helpful, Robert was not only an excellent driver, he was a tremendous resource for tips and recommendations to maximize the enjoyment of our holiday. His vehicle was lovely ("posh" as my children exclaimed), and we were very pleased that Robert provided us with a booster seat for our 6-year old. Traffic was a nightmare the evening we arrived in LAX and Robert was so knowledgeable about the best routes to get around the traffic and get us to Anaheim in a way that was safe and efficient. I looked at the gridlocked traffic and could only imagine how frustrating this would be for anyone in a cab (watching the meter climb) or on a large bus that can't take the smaller roads/routes. I know because we have been to LA dozens of times and I have previously only used the "other" shuttle bus choices. Never again. Transtar's fees are very competitive and it was SO LOVELY to get into a comfortable vehicle after a long flight and to start your travels off so nicely. Whether you are travelling to the LA area for business or pleasure, I would highly, and without reservation, recommend Robert and Transtar. I take my Grandson and family to Disneyland every two years, starting in 2012. I have used Golden Star Limo service all 3 times. We just went for our third trip. I set up the service thru email and receive all the confirmations same day. We love the Lincoln Crossover enough room for all 4 of us, are stuff and a BOB stroller. They provide the "booster seat". My grandson remembers Robert (Bob) and ask if "Robert" could be our driver. Robert picked us both coming and going. My grandson was so excited to chat with him about his kids. Robert even brought a little gift for him on our pick going to the airport on our way home. The car is clean, they are friendly, safe, knowledgeable drivers. Giving advice on any possible traffic issue that would require an early pick up going to the airport. Always on time, staying in contact by text with me while I wait and meet the kid's incoming flight at the airport. My flight is from San Jose their flight is from Sacramento. I really appreciate not having to deal with payments when bring dropped off at the hotel and airport. The fares are very reasonable and fair, I give them my CC number. And they process and email me the receipt. So when we are dropped off all I need to do is say "Thanks" From my perspective Golden Star Limo is the perfect partner for limo service in So Cal. read more

I surprised a friend for her birthday with a night out in Redondo Beach. I wanted a sedan service, as we were going to a wine bar and dancing afterwards. A co-worker recommended Goldenstar Limousines and her advice was spot on. The rates were very reasonable and I wasn't able to find a competitor that had better pricing. Our driver was Rafael. He came to our home in the city of Orange with impeccable punctuality. He allowed time for potential traffic on the 405 freeway and that was a relief because we had dinner reservations. He treated us like royalty from start to finish. After our dinner Rafael was immediately available to take us to our next destination. We had very entertaining conversation and he was very patient with our behavior after our consumption of a few glasses of wine. Our night continued with a visit to a few clubs along Pier Avenue. Rafael provided a very comfortable ride home for two very exhausted women. He even escorted us to the door and waited to make sure we got in the house. We originally searched around checking prices for an airport transfer from LAX to Anaheim for our first family trip to Disneyland. We found the prices offered by Golden Star Limousines to be comparable to a taxi fare so thought why not? I'm really glad we did because Ali made it so easy and relaxing for our travel, pointing out many interesting things along the way and just giving us some local advice. We were so happy with the service we booked in for a LA tour with Bob, who was polite, friendly and so flexible with what we wanted to do for the day. A return trip to Dodgers Stadium and transfer back to LAX at the end of our stay were also booked in and each of these trips were no problem for the guys - even if we did change things up at the last minute! Our family had the best experience recently with Bob of Golden Star Limousines. Our family was vacationing in Anaheim to visit Disneyland and other attractions. We sought out services to drive us to Universal Studios and to tour LA. What first stood out was the quick response and great communication we received. Golden Star Limousines is highly recommended. We arranged 3 different services (one for 2 guests, one for 14 guests and one for 30 guests). Each vehicle arrived before time, all were impeccably clean (drivers even cleaned up for us when we made stops), all drivers were friendly, knowledgeable and greatly accommodating (stopped for unexpected bathroom breaks, kept our coolers stocked and picked up bags of ice for us). Ali also made updates to the schedule hours before they were to start which helped keep us make last minute adjustments but still be on time with appointments. Bob drove our family from the Long Beach Airport to Disneyland and back again a few days later. Bob was not only prompt, but professional and knowledgeable about the area. On the way back to the airport, he took an alternate route to avoid the heavy freeway traffic and to make sure we arrived on time. The company's cars are top of the line, smoke free and clean. I found Robert on the internet along with a multitude of other services in the Los Angeles area. I was looking for an economical way to surprise my young grandchildren with a limo ride from the airport to Disneyland. This was part of my overall plan to make the trip special. Golden Star Limousines got our trip off to a great start and we were so happy that we cancelled our trip on the Disneyland bus. Our driver (Bob) was waiting for us upon our arrival at John Wayne airport and the car was clean and well kept. On very short notice he made a special detour for us on our way from our hotel near Disneyland to SNA airport and took us to Newport Beach so my grandsons could see the ocean for the first time. He drove us through that charming little town and crossed over in the suburban on a barge to Balboa Island to the pier. The boys we're thrilled and said "This is the best detour ever." I have used Golden Star Limousines, recently on Wednesday Evening. I took my girl to a special movie event in Hollywood. Golden Star Limousines service was great, their cars are extremely comfortable and their drivers are friendly and professional. We found Goldenstar 3 years ago when we were looking for a shuttle service from the airport to Disneyland that would provide car seats. I had a group of about 13 people arriving at LAX in the late afternoon. I needed a shuttle service that would be right there to pick us up...and you know what, TSS was. The vans were extremely clean, our driver (Robert) was very respectful and knowledgeable about the area and answered all our questions.
