We called this company to get a window repaired and the person was so rude and disrespectful. He wanted more money because it was Covid-19 and we were in the middle of a pandemic Everyone needs to call the better business bureau. This company tried to price gouge us and probably other residents. Beware he tried to charge us 500% inflation in an estimates to replace a small bedroom window. To replace just one piece of glass for an aluminum bedroom window he said was $1800.00. Normally it's cost between $40-80. The owner said, " where else are you going to get someone to repair or replace the glass around here... ?" (Thiesen Glass and other glass business' have closedown). When questioned about the inflation the owner said to us on the phone" fuck you or pay". I want to thank Alex and his team at Golden State Windows for doing a fantastic job replacing six windows in my home. My house in San Mateo was long overdue for some window replacements for the living room and bedrooms. The old windows must have been at least 30-40 years old, were growing mold around the edges, and had terrible insulation. I had Alex come over to take a look and quote us for some new windows.
