While my belongings were packed and ready, I was provided with a 3-hour window--1.5 hours for loading onto the truck and another 1.5 hours for unloading. Unfortunately, only one person was assigned to handle the entire loading process, which led to delays and made the experience more challenging than it needed to be. Additionally, the packing approach seemed to lack organization. Some of my brand-new U-Haul boxes were damaged because heavier items were stacked on lighter ones, leading to crushing and tearing. It would be beneficial for future moves if there were clearer guidelines on how to properly load boxes. I also found the request for a tip a bit unexpected given the circumstances, especially since I felt the service did not meet my expectations. While I chose to tip regardless, I believe that tips should be earned through quality service. Lastly, I didn't receive a receipt, which added to my disappointment in the overall customer service experience. I recently hired Golden Sun Movers for a local move. While the actual moving crew was courteous and professional, the aftermath has been a nightmare. During the move, my Blackstone griddle and a solid wood bookshelf were both significantly damaged. The bookshelf now has a large hole in the back panel, and the griddle is completely inoperable. When I contacted the owner, Artie, to resolve the issue, I was met with total unprofessionalism. Rather than taking responsibility for the damage, Artie insulted the value of my property, calling the griddle "worthless" and offering $30.00 to settle the claim. I have made every effort to reach a fair and reasonable solution, but the owner is unwilling to cooperate. It is deeply disappointing to see a business treat its customers this way. I am now forced to pursue this matter in small claims court. I strongly urge you to avoid this company. read more

Today was moving day, what a great experience we had with Arti handling our move. I contacted him Saturday evening and he made an appointment with me Sunday morning to meet to give me a quote. He discussed with us how he would prepare our furniture for the move with securely wrapping everything with blankets and plastic wrap. We had a few glass cabinets and heavy living and bedroom furniture along with several boxes. He actually made deliveries to two separate properties. All items were delivered with no issues. We requested moving services and Arty came out same day to our home to assess in person how many workers/trucks would be needed. On the day of the move he showed up on time with 2 trucks and 4 movers. They were all professional and worked hard; they didn't take a lunch break and made every minute count. They packed the trucks like a Tetris puzzle and we got everything over in one trip! We had a 5 bed 4 bath home moved over in 9.5 hours. All belongings were wrapped with care and no furniture was damaged.
