In the beginning, I was hesitant of hiring movers. Like everyone else, there is that line of trust we have to give to those to move our personal belongings. So, I searched for a team in the Temecula area and Honest A's was the first to show up. I reached out and Valichia responded very quickly. I analyzed the reviews as anyone would and they seemed legit. So I decided to move forward with them. I scheduled a date and when it was time to move, Honest A's was running a couple minutes late, but gave a courtesy call way before their arrival. It was greatly appreciated, because I requested them to arrive early and I didnt want the move to overlap into the time when my kids arrive from school. As soon as they arrived, Aaron and his son Miles introduced themselves and we did a thorough walkthrough of what needed to go, and what would need to stay. I did request 3 men for the job, but they did the loading within a very reasonable time with a team of two. Another concern I've had with hiring movers was milking time. They did the opposite and quickly loaded up the truck with rarely taking breaks. It was nothing but hard work from beginning to the end. Once the truck was loaded, they had a team of four men unloading, which expedited everything. It all balanced out in the end, well within the quoted price and time frame. Once everthing was loaded, we did a final walkthrough to let me know if I was satisfied before the job was declared complete. The service was beyond my expectations and I applaud them for their friendliness, professionalism, customer service and labor. First thing I just want to says, turn around don't do business with this company. I scheduled a date and time to have them load up the truck. After 2 hours no show, they wouldn't pick up my phone calls. After several attempts. 4 hours later I get ahold of the guy. To say oh will be there. 2 hours later no show and the guy would not answer my calls or reach out. I'm ver disappointed. Let's face it, moving can be very stressful. The three-man team that showed up for my parents move couldn't have been more calm and kind. They were very gracious when we had to re-move a few items to place them 'just right'. It took the pressures of the move away quickly. Aaron and his team were very respectful to our belongings. Honest A's moved us from Murrieta to San Diego about 3 weeks ago. Two of the employees packed some our belongings. The next day, the owner and 2 employees loaded everything, brought it to San Diego, and unloaded everything and set it all up. They did a wonderful and careful job. Well, now that the dust is settling, I have an opportunity to finally post my experience with this moving company. From the moment I called to request a quote I was greeted in the most professional and friendly manner. I'm unfamiliar with hiring movers and I asked a lot of questions, not once did I hear and irritated tone in the man's voice that I spoke to you. I thought that was off to a good start. The day before moving day, I received a phone call with details of the arrival and went over everything. The next morning, I received another call from the gentleman who I spoke with in the very beginning, I believe his name is Al. I was given the names of the two guys that would be arriving, also their phone numbers. They arrived and I must say they DID the damn thing!! This moving company was a pleasant surprise. They did arrive late due to truck issues, however, that is understandable. They were able to make 5 trips in order to move all of our belongings. I want to emphasize on their customer service as they made it a very smooth experience! They took time to put back together our furniture, some of which were complicated and time consuming. I called Honest A's a day before my scheduled move out. I explained my needs, they listened and provided suggestions and an estimate for their services. They answered all my questions. On the move day, the men that would work with me on the move had a previous job that kept them over their estimated time of arrival, but I was informed of this beforehand. Jose and Hector arrived, assessed my move, gave me an overview of the job, and got to it. They took care of everything, worked diligently, safely, and with cautious with all my stuff. Throughout the whole day (6 hours total), they always had a smile and were professional. My complete belongings, all in perfect condition were delivered to my new place. Excellent service. The team of three movers we had for our move were professional, courteous and extremely hard workers. They were great at communicating what needed to be done and asked questions about what we needed to leave and what needed to be moved. They put the beds together. Overall, I'd give this company high marks, and would recommend. Rates for 2 strong guys and a moving truck was $125/hr with a 3 hr minimum. It always takes longer than ya think to move, even when we'll packed, which we were. I figured 4-5 hrs. Our sitch was going from a 2BR apt to a 2BR townhouse within a very short distance. Third floor for apt and a split lvl for townhouse. Some windy stairwells too. Our furniture included a master bedroom queen with dressers and end table. All good quality and heavy wood. We also had a day bed, kitchroom set, and a living room set of premium black leather couches...a 4 piece sectional. Let's not forget about two 50 inch TVs. Everything else packed up in boxes, including kitchen ware, clothes and misc. Well boxed, packed and taped. When moving time came, scheduled for 9am, there was a hiccup with their truck as it turned out. Started about 2 hrs later. And finished at 5pm. So 6 hours in total. The guys were strong and relatively experienced. One more so than the other. They bore the brunt of moving the heavy furniture without using straps to help. Management might want to consider arming their movers with better tools. Nonetheless, the guys packed up the truck securely, moved everything down and up without damaging the furniture or walls along the way. Impressive. Even on a somewhat cool 60 degree day, they worked up a pretty good sweat. We treated them to subs from Jimmy John's and a $150 tip to split between them, especially because the disassembled and reassembled some of our furniture. Me having recently injured my knee limited me from helping with the heavy load, but I certainly got a workout in with all the other smaller boxes, etc. All in all, a hard days work made a lot easier than ks to these guys. Management took .5 hrs off the 6 hour move due to the late start time, and owned up to the issues as opposed to making excuses or blaming the moving guys.
