Another fabulous meal at Golden Thai Kitchen! The pad see ew noodles were soft and tender flavored with that dark sweet soy sauce. Thai tea! Strong and sweet just like I love it! Yellow curry was so aromatic and rice perfectly done!

We just dined in about fifteen minutes ago. We came to grab dinner before a concert at Talking Stick Amphitheatre. The place is cute inside and the service was ok. There was only one server so it's understandable that she didn't really check in with us after dropping off our food. OK the food is OK. We ordered fried tofu, veggie spring rolls and pork Pad see ew. The fried tofu was good but everything else was just ok. My husband liked their Thai tea.

Came here when they opened for dinner. Not a lot of people dining in. But lots of to go orders. It was only 1 person at desk taking orders, serving and cleaning. But the food was excellent. Pad see ew was excellent. Shrimp curry was delicious. Unfortunately The tom yum Soup was extremely sour.

First time at Golden Thai and I lived the crispy tofu! There was a place we used to go to in LA called Noodle World (really good noodles) that HAD amazing fried tofu and sweet and sour sauce with crushed peanuts. This is the first place I've found in Phoenix that serves the fried tofu that hot and crispy AND also nailed the sweet and sour w/crushed peanuts. My wife and I loved the artwork of all their food dishes hanging on the wall. The Thai tea was absolutely perfect as well. I hate it when they are made WAAAAY too sweet and this one had the perfect amount of sweetness. The staff was prompt and polite too!

Golden Thai is the best Thai food in Phoenix. The food is delicious. The service is top tier - the owner is very attentive. Clean restaurant, a little hole in the rock but the best of food.

Stop by for a quick lunch after flying into Phoenix. I wanted Thai food and am glad they were open. Ordered the Pad See Eww lunch special. The flavor of the dish was satisfying, and it hit the spot. Service was good and seemed like there's regulars always visiting.

I wanted some drunken noodles and I remembered this Thai place by this pho place near where I used to live so I thought I'd give it a try. It's a cute clean little place. Smelled delicious when I walked in. I ordered Thai papaya salad without peanuts and topped with shrimp. It was pretty good not super sweet which was good because I know places like to sugar it. However, I like Lao style better and at my old Thai restaurant they gave you the option of Thai or Lao style. Nevertheless it was good. Now I ordered Thai drunken noodles with chicken but I got pad see ew with beef. I got my order to go so I didn't realize this until I got home. However, the pad see ew is DELICIOUS! So I'm not mad even though it's not what I ordered. I spoke with the owner while waiting for my food. She's super nice. She's from Bangkok so it's Bangkok style Thai food. The items I did get even though one was wrong was delicious. They have lunch specials Mon-Sat so I'm going back during the lunch special time so I can try more items to see if it's worth bringing my mom and aunt to try it out. So far I like it and that's saying a lot because being Thai I'm pretty picky about my Thai food.

Thai is one of my favorites. After seeing Golden Thai Kitchen on Yelp I figured I'd give it a go. We ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, Beef Pad See Ew and the Shrimp Pineapple Fried Rice. I ordered via their easy online order process on their website and set for pickup. When I picked up the woman working was very friendly and even added cutlery and napkins upon my request. It smelled heavenly inside the restaurant. I had a feeling it was going to be tasty when my nose danced Now the taste test, YUM! Each and every dish was packed with flavor and spice. The meat cooked just right and noodles with the perfect texture. The only thing I'd change is the amount of broccoli in the pad see ew. It left me wanting some more greens. Overall, if you're in the neighborhood, give 'em a try!

The pad see ew is my favorite here! I'll keep coming back for that alone. The staff is also super sweet and gives quick service. I also appreciate the fact they keep the restaurant clean.

Given the landlocked area and dearth of Asian markets, I have so much respect and awe that they dont hold back on lemongrass and all the thai spices in both of the food and cocktails. Loud, modern, and hip scene even on a Wednesday night. 45 min to 1 hour wait if you attempt walk in but we did reservations just a week prior. We opted for indoors since we visited in June heat and that was a great decision as we were sat in the back clubhouse which felt like a secret cocktail club. Btw, if you reserve indoors or outdoors, they will hold you to it. Save room for their hibiscus and lemongrass creme brûlée that has the perfect crust and smooth texture. Even if you can't take a lot of spice, they did a great job sharing what dishes would still work. Appreciated the thoughtful text ahead of time to arrive early for parking because yes, it's extremely challenging in that area even though my dad has a disabled placard. Just go here. So worth it. It tastes even better with that Thai chili sauce. I didn't take the photos of all the other dishes but they were all super delicious. The first time when I came, the service was impeccable - they were nice, attentive, and patient. The second time was a bit disappointing. It took a really long time for one of my friends' dishes to come. But when we checked with them, we were told "it will come when it's ready." I understand that they were busy at that moment. But they could have told us in a better way. Overall, I always look forward to dinning here. And this is definitely one of the best Thai restaurants in Phoenix!

As a proud Yelp Elite, I decided to give this place a chance because the reviews were the best I saw in the city! The place was busy on a Sunday night and it is small but I never say customers waiting too long. There were two larger parties seated so the food took some time but nothing outrageous. We started with the calamari, spring rolls, and crab wontons. The calamari were the biggest I've ever seen and very delicious! Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the spring rolls or crab wontons. I feel like those are hard to get wrong but I was not a fan of the cream cheese that was used and it was a lot of it, barely any imitation crab. For entrees, I had the spicy basil and substituted ground chicken for chicken breast, my personal preference. I ordered level 2 spice but it was still a bit spicy for me. Trying a new Thai place is always hit or miss with spice levels so I actually thought I was being safe with 2. Additionally, the chicken was so bland. Some Thai places season their chicken, some do not and unfortunately Pad Thai Cafe missed that mark. My partner ordered the short rib curry dish and my goodness, it smelled like heaven and tasted just as good. I don't eat beef but had to taste it and it was divine! He also ordered spice level 2 and his dish was not as spicy as mine. Overall, the rest of the party enjoyed their food and there were good flavors there so I'd definitely recommend the entrees, not so much the starters.
