Over messages I was given a rough estimate of $40 for the hem and $20 for a shoulder take in, which was lower than the quotes I was receiving from other places. When I came in, my total to be paid at pick up was at $110. $90 for the hem, $20 for the shoulder. Of course, a quote is dependent on material, difficulty, etc., so I did not complain, but quote versus actual prices ended up being almost double. For a satin, a-line, unlined dress, this price was higher than what any from my group of bridesmaid with the same dress paid at other places. When I came in to pay and receive the dress she again upped the price by $5, making my total $115, which I found out after, was not the price given on my receipt when the dress was dropped off ($110) The actual work was fine and did the job, and the shop owner was very nice, but I do not think I would return here after my own personal experience.

She refuses to refund my money after she clearly did not clean my clothes properly without mixing them with other customers clothing and using a badly filtered dryer. I am completely disgusted by this experience . I left with her a total of almost 100 pounds worth of clothing. If she couldn't handle it she should not have taken the money. The owner honored the quoted price. UNFORTUNATELY, a week after actually unzipping the suit out from the garment bag, The buttons from my custom suit were chipped. I have not addressed this issue with the owner, but at this point, I'm not sure there is anything they can or will do. It would have been a different issue if I looked at it and scanned the suit before leaving the dry cleaner.

I assumed this place from the start would have its process in order since Tide as a dry cleaners is in other states in the U.S. but unfortunately struggled to get the ball rolling properly. The store does offer a variety of services with a hefty price tag for it being fast and convenience but fall short at times in stain removal and proper pressing and due note that tailoring feels rushed and you guessed it pricey for not being ready on time. They have kept some familiar faces from the previous ownership which felt welcoming and also added new faces. My issue is me and partner never enjoyed the manager that works in the morning from her awful and bland hospitality to solving issues we might have had in the past, we avoid going in the morning since she only works a part time to around 2 pm sometimes, it takes one person to make a place feel not wanting to go back to.
