First time at Sharon's Dry Cleaners & will definitely be back ! I thought my Uggs were done for as I did let them get filthy, I wouldve almost thrown them away but now are looking almost brand new. It's winter time therefore perfect for Ugg Season which do get dirty quite easily & aren't the best to clean on your own if you don't want to ruin the suede & I had seen the "we clean Uggs" sign in front of the shop so I stepped inside & was instantly greeted upon entrance & the lady gave me a very good price starting at $28 & depending on the length and or style rates may go up. I was pleased with the price & turn around time only being 1 week as I was quoted $10+ dollars more for the same service elsewhere & would've waited longer (2 weeks) if I didn't come across Sharon's. I will definitely bring more of my Uggs here & support this South Bay business. They've earned my trust & business after this excellent service. I have been taking my clothing to Sharon's Cleaners for over a decade. They are the absolute best! My clothing is always returned flawless and looking brand new. Moreover, the owners have set very high standards for their business. If they do not believe the job can be performed in excellence, they refuse the business. In addition, the pricing is fair and displayed. The total is also printed on the receipt. I am addressing this because I was surprised to discover how many dry cleaners do not reveal pricing beforehand. The owners are people with the utmost integrity. When I brought my skirt, I asked if they could fix it, to which the man told me yes. He charged me $7 for it. As you can see, the work was done terribly, nothing was fixed, no one apologized to me and no one returned my money for it. The service is terrible, I do not advise you to bring your clothes to this dry cleaner, instead of high-quality work you will get a damaged thing and they will charge you more money for it. I was visiting from Arizona, and I had a wedding to attend in two days in the area and I needed my outfit pressed. I searched several dry cleaners in the area and I came across Sharon's. Let me tell you, Sharon's was so polite and kind to expedite my appointment. When I picked up my garment, it was beautifully done and outstanding! The garment looked brand new and ironed professionally done. I highly recommend Sharon's for anyone who is visiting from out of town as well as locals. We now live in an era where most people no longer wear pants to work. I still do (darn hospital policies!), but I haven't needed anything dry cleaned for a while as scrubs just go in the wash. That said, I do think of Sharon's sometimes, and I hope they're still doing well. They've always cleaned and pressed my clothes reliably, and things are done when they say they'll be done. Their prices are on par with anywhere else I've been, and they've always tried to help, and they've salvaged a few things that I thought no one could save. Keep on keeping on, Sharon's! I won't be returning. I had a silk shirt with few tiny stains on the sleeve. The lady checked it out and was nice when I talked to her. When I picked up the shirt, the two tiny stains were still visible and not removed. They old guy said they couldn't remove them and that they didn't want to damage it by over trying to remove it, but he still charged me 8.50$. I paid the money out of courtesy but if the stains were not removed, why would you charge for an undone job? read more

Located in a big Plaza, so parking is easy to find. Considering the number of garments I've had done here over the years, I can recommend them 100%. Overall, OK but I probably wont be back Here is a quick breakdown: Overpriced, charged nearly 2x advertised price for dry cleaning. It was all done on time so that is a +. They tried to double charge me for my bill, saying I didn't pay, but I did pay already. Their 'account department' is a bit confused which I think just consists of the Owners and his wife. Will not be returning because - they refused to serve me. Lol I've come maybe 2-3x and it's been okay. Last time I had a winter puffer coat and it still had some visible black stains so I pointed it out. They cleaned it again and sure enough the stains came out. This is nothing new. I've been to other dry cleaners before and once in a while a redo is necessary. Not a big a deal right? Nope, very wrong. I took the same coat in and the guys asks for my name and legit looks at his computer and says - Uh yeah, this coat was a problem last time. We had to redo and you wanted absolutely no stains or every stain gone - something to that effect. (Um, isn't that what I'm paying for?) And he legit says - we have the right to refuse service, sorry. Excuse you?? You're upset because a customer called you out and heaven forbid you have a redo? As soon as I tried to talk and reason, he raised his voice and got very rude. There are tons of dry cleaners elsewhere so no biggie but pretty hilarious. Small dry cleaner in the strip mall with Marukai, Rite Aid, and Pizza Hut at the corner of Sepulveda and Hawthorne run by a friendly Korean couple. They are English proficient and thorough with their work. I was being particular about the work I wanted done with my clothes and the lady took the time to speak with me exactly what would get done and provided her 2 cents based on her years of experience. The best and most honest service I've ever had! I went there to have my purse's zipper replaced after reading all the reviews on yelp. Everything I read is true. Such a great, straight-forward, friendly and conscientious service! The owner took a look at my purse and told me it would most likely cost 25$ and be ready in a couple days. In 20 mins or so, he called me back and told me he fixed the bag already. I drove back to the store to find out he didn't have to replace the zipper, and instead he fixed the original zipper. He even used some wax to make the zipper smoother. Since he did not have to replace the zipper, he didn't charge me anything! I never expected to have my purse fixed for free! -A nice local dry cleaning place next to Japanese Daiso(a dollar market) and Japanese marukai supermarket. -There are plenty parking spaces. -Owned by a very friendly and nice couple I'm definitely coming back here :-) read more

I use the services of a Dry Cleaner infrequently but when I do I expect a high level of service. I have recently switched my 'go to' Dry Cleaner location based on price and convenience to Sharon's Cleaners. Sharon's is located in a large parking lot / strip mall on the corner of Sepulveda Blvd & Hawthorne Blvd. The parking lot in which Sharon's is located also contains several others shops (i.e. Rite Aid, Marukai Market, Lindberg Nutrition). Sharon's Cleaners has a two (2) dedicated parking spaces for its customers so no matter how busy the other shops are you should have no trouble parking. The customer area of the cleaners is quite small but not really sure that matters. You are able to walk in, be greeted with a friendly smile, drop off the items you wish to have dry cleaned and be out the door within 1-2 minutes. I dropped off the items I needed to be dry cleaned and asked for the shirts to be 'boxed' (aka folded) in the exact same fashion you would find a new shirt folded when you purchased it, I am OCD like that=) The price for my dry cleaning was substantially cheaper than my last Dry Cleaner, same day service is available as long the items are turned in by a certain time (forget the cutoff time). Sharon's Cleaners also specializes in alterations and zipper / bag repair. I plan on bringing a backpack that I have had for several years where the zipper has begun to malfunction for repair. If you are looking for an honest dry cleaner who isn't going to charge you an arm and a leg (pardon the pun) look no further than Sharon's, customer service is TOP NOTCH!!!! read more

Honestly, they are OK. I've gone there 4 times with large orders. The clothes come back decent, clean, and most importantly ALL of the items come back. Which, should be a minimum, but you would be surprised at some of the issues you deal with at the cleaners. At this time, I'm trying to find a great dry cleaner and one that fits all of my needs. Key is behavior and customer service. I'm not trying to figure everyone out, or their "struggle" on a Saturday while running 15 errands; especially if I have to pay you. A secret key to a great dry cleaner? One that takes such good care of your clothes that you have shirts that are close to a decade old and they still look new. Not impossible. It will not matter how much you spend on your clothes, but rather how you maintain and take care of them. Here at Sharon's, I've been met with some resistance from the staff on how to take care of my clothes, such as how I want my shirts pressed. Also, it seems like no matter what I bring in the gentleman decides to do a full breakdown of all items and their condition. I think they are being careful, I'm sure they have had contentious moments with other customers in the past. It's a little over-the-top, and strange but maybe his struggle is over-the-top, and strange. This makes me nervous, why would my dry cleaner need to be paranoid? If one of your items gets damaged or lost, what will be the staff response? From their behavior I am inclined to think an argument. This review is not a lambast, as every perspective and opinion is somewhere in the middle of great to poor. These are good and honest people, running a good honest business. read more

I'm fairly new to the area and finding a good quality dry cleaner is very important to me. I scoured through yelp looking for establishments that are close to me and with a good rating. I settled on trying five different cleaners and rated them on a scale of 1-5 (5 being the best) on a list of attributes I think are important. Sharon's cleaners came in second. although i feel like dry cleaners are not only cleaning the clothes themselves, but over time they clean out your pockets a few bucks at a time (e.g. a 50 dollar wool pants cleaned 12 times over the year cost as much as the pants) that being said, i wont take my clothes elsewhere. The folks there make an effort to know their customers, and are very pleasant and do the special "thing" that differentiates them from other places. When hubby and I moved back to LA last year we started hunting for cleaners. We found Sharon, they are efficient, good quality work and they get to know you. One of my husband work shirts was ripped and they immediately took off the charge and said sorry. Unfortunately it happened again this last time.. I didn't noticed until my husband called me from work letting me know there was a rip on his sleeve... I love going to them and would continue but we are actually moving location... If you go to them they will take care of you. We have been using the for half a year now so I have no complaints.. I went there for zipper repair for 2 jackets. Korean man examined the zippers and told me that I did not have to replace whole zippers. The price was a lot cheaper than the other alteration shop listed on this site, so I was pretty satisfied with it. Then, when I picked up my jackets and tried to pay the amout, I was given more discount, because he did not have to do what he said. I was very inspired how technical and honest he is. I recommend this place to anyone who has zipper problems for jackets and call the shop first and visit when the Korean man is there for consultation. read more

This place is mediocre at best. The owners are friendly. This was the only reason why I kept going back the next four times. However, they lack attention to detail. When I mentioned they need to remove stains on several of my shirts, they mark it with colored taping. But when I return to pickup my dry cleaning the stains are still there. Not a smudge of improvement. Prices on non shirt items like jackets are pretty overpriced. Overall, average dry cleaning shop. I'll continue to look elsewhere in Torrance. read more

The Korean lady is nice, but the Korean guy is very rude to their customers, and they posted a sign says "Credit card minimum $10", I was trying to pay by debit card, the Korean guy was so rude like: "No No No, has to be $10 or more!" I was like: "But thats for credit card isn't it?" He said: "No No No, same same." I don't mind to pay by cash, but just don't give your customers a attitude like this, Okay? And the Korean guy forgot to give me the receipt which I need it, I went back in 10 mins and asked for the receipt, he was rude to me again and questioned me: "Do you really need that?" Took a good look at blouses, but they didn't give me a receipt. I was told to just give my name when I picked up. The gentleman told me to pick up on Thursday afternoon. 1st attempt to pickup- I had stopped by around 1pmThursday. The different older gentleman was trying to locate my name and said there are two of you. Then rudely an older lady came to the counter and said, no i will take care of it! So, she askes me again. "Which one are you?" I said this is my number. She said no...what is your name? Is this your number........? I said no, this is my number...... I was like I just gave you my number. Wow! Then after all that she said, it's not ready because we promised you 4pm. We are finishing up here and can you come back at 4pm. I said no, I will comeback tomorrow. Yah, I can't come back again because I wasn't told 4pm. All very politely. But for some reason the lady responded rudely and making it sound I was the one interupting her sorting time. instead of apologizing to me that I had to come back she gave me a lecture stating "we always finish at 4pm. That's our pickup time and there is no way of finding your clothes. Just come back." I was shocked!!!! But decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. 2nd attempt- I came back a few days later...gave my name. She said oh yah. You were the one who came the other day, right? I said yes. She said, that's strange...there are two of you. I said ok...so this is my phone number.... She said, is this your number? Isn't this your number? I said no, this is....... she said, "how Confusing!!!! You know we can end up giving you the wrong clothes if you don't give me your number. I said I gave you my number. She said, I know, but next time give me your number First so I don't get confused! I had a customer once who took the wrong clothes because there were two of the same name. They had to bring the clothes back and it was a mess!" Can you believe this????? Wow???!!!!!!! I said to myself this lady is wacko!!!! She needs some major therapy or something. I understand that the other reviewers have had a good experience with this cleaners but unfortunately my experience was much different. I tried Sharon's out after reading the great reviews on yelp by taking them a wool peacoat that had a lot of lint on it and badly in need of a good pressing. My first impression upon entering the cleaners was that it was very clean with plenty of parking. I showed my coat to the gentleman and asked for a price quote to clean it and he quoted me $14 - which was a bit higher than the $10 going rate around town that I got - but I gave it a shot because of the yelp reviews and because I was in the area. When I picked up the coat a few days later, I honestly had thought that they forgot to clean it and just put the plastic over it! "$14.00 please" was what they told me while I looked at the coat in amazement. The lint was still on the coat and it seemed just as wrinkled as it was when I dropped it off. I even asked the woman "are you sure you cleaned it" and she said yes. I shouldn't have paid them but I did anyway since I didn't want to be confrontational. I'm reviewing Sharon's for their stellar service. I already had a dry cleaner I used regularly, but one day I was at Marukai buying some sushi supplies (my little brother wanted spam musubi) and I parked in front of Sharon's Cleaners. I came back to find my driver's door severely dented and the paint cracked from somebody who apparently tried to park next to me but failed miserably. The owner was very kind and tried to help me as much as he could in describing the car. Then a man in the parking lot approached and gave me the license plate he'd written down as a witness. I ended up getting my car repaired by the driver after the police sent him a letter saying he'd been seen fleeing the scene. It was all thanks to the witness in the parking lot but the owner of Sharon's helped too. I decided to start using Sharon's because they deserved my business. And I have been very impressed. The service is wonderful, my clothes look great, and the owner's wife is a sweetheart. I will continue to be their loyal customer. read more

I love this dry cleaner. I mean, it's right next to my house, which is the main reason I came in the first place, but they do a really good job and deserve a good review. The Korean couple who own it really are friendly people. After only two visits, they remembered my name and always greet me when I walk inside. The prices are reasonable, and I've always been happy with their service. I once brought a sweater in to be cleaned. It was missing a button (which I knew about), but I was just going to sew it on when I got it back. When I picked it up, I noticed they had sewed on a matching button themselves without me even asking. Also, they don't staple numbered tags to any of the labels of your clothes, which is nice. I always hate having to remove numbers that most dry cleaners use on your clothes. Also, they don't use any safety pins to hang up skirts on the hanger or anything else. They use these little plastic black clamps that don't leave any marks on your freshly cleaned clothes. I definitely like this place and don't really plan on taking my clothes anywhere else. read more
