This is a really nice and efficient business. They launder and dry clean on premises which is important to me (some other places have allowed their laundry to be picked up by unknown workers and actually taken to public coin laundries). What set this business apart from others is their attitude and customer service. The first time you bring in laundry they give you a bag with a personalized tag identifying the contents to a particular customer). They keep you informed by text message when the laundry is ready for pick up. I guess I've been there frequently enough that they know my name when I walk in. I've dealt with many laundries over the years and this is the first time this happens. And they really thank their customers for their patronage. There are occasional specials and deals that are delivered by text message and in person. I've taken advantage of many of these and appreciate the savings. One of the best is occasional comforter washing for $27, about half price from the regular charge. That definitely gets my business. They also repair clothing and accepts leather goods for cleaning by one of their partners. I get occasional ads stating they do shoe repair and cleaning, and even purses. Parking if available directly outside their business. Most times parking is conveniently located. They also deliver locally but, frankly I've never used this service as my availability at home is not great. But for others it's a good idea, especially for those who don't drive or need the convenience. read more

My good stuff like formal dress , cardigans,etc at least 5 pieces and I dropped it on a Tuesday morning and they had it ready for me on Thursday. Prices are good. They did an amazing job. I recently tried this cleaners. The 1st couple of times my clothes and hats were fine. However, the most recently, the red color on my Arsenal Beanie, bled into the white stripes and my shirt had 3 snags on it. I have washed this shirt in my washing machine, and it didn't get any snags. I spoke to the manager, but she was not helpful. She didn't apologize or offer any compensation; she just made excuses for what happened to my clothing. I will not go there again, and I encourage others to do the same before your clothing gets damaged. read more

Very poor experienced leaving my three expensive dress shirts here. They completely ruined them with the color changing for all my shirts with whatever they did to them. This was my first time leaving my clothes with them, and I only did so based on the positive reviews which don't mean much here. I knew immediately upon looking at my black shirt that I left here that it was damaged. It was a very rich dark black originally and when I picked it up it lost all its original color and has weird marks on it that were not there previously. I also had a white shirt that was the same brand as the black shirt and the original color was ruined as well. I compared both dress shirts with brand NEW shirts from the same manufacturer and they both lost their original color. When I came to address the issue with the manager which was the lady/daughter of the owners she was very defensive speaking over me constantly, would not let me get a single word in and took no responsibility. Instead she tried to play dumb and blame the manufacturer of this very reputable high end name brand which was hilarious and I did not buy it for one second. She also tried to blame the fact that they machine washed my item instead of dry cleaning the item and tried to blame it on me saying I asked for a machine wash instead of a normal dry clean. I thought they were competent and automatically assumed they would dry clean it but apparently they machine washed it because I apparently asked for it. Even if it was machine washed the original color should NOT be damaged and this was confirmed by the manufacturer. So they are clearly lying through their teeth. Also if they were competent and knew machine washing was going to ruin the color of the shirts they should have warned me in the first place (but this is just their excuse). Also they made no attempt to reach me by phone to resolve this matter. Instead the daughter is just replying to my reviews trying to make it seem like they made an attempt to resolve this matter (check their google reviews to see how poor this lady's attitude is and how they mistreat their customers). You ruined $600+ worth of high end brand name shirts of mine and are arguing with me back and forth trying to cover up your mistake. You are not fooling anyone lady. Pictures to follow comparing the brand new shirts vs. old shirts to show the damage. So the machine wash also caused all these new marks to appear on my shirt that were not there previously right? Also the machine was is to blame for all the stains I asked you to remove for still being there right? And you are being ignored now. I am not arguing with you lady. You can have your parents/owners call me. You are clearly not great with dealing with customers which was apparent when you were talking over me, not listening and being extremely rude to me when I was upset with how you guys messed up my clothes. You did not attempt to do the right thing and took zero responsibility. Instead you automatically tried to blame the manufacturer and NO I will not let you blame them for your mistake. The fact that you were so quick to blame them instead of trouble shoot the issue and see where the issue was being caused in your own operations tells me everything. You also did not warn me beforehand that the shirt was damaged and tried to play it off and have me pick it as if I would not notice. NOT OK! You are coming up with every excuse under the book blaming the manufacturer, saying the product was a defect, saying it was my fault that I asked for a machine wash LOL. No one is buying any of your bs! Even if it was machine wash it should NOT have damaged the shirts and change colors (confirmed by the original manufacturer). So clearly something went wrong in your operations to ruin the original color of my shirts. I am sure you have an excuse to that as well? Even the white colored Hugo Boss shirt doesn't look the same after getting it back to you guys. So somehow magically all three dress shirts from TWO high end brands had defects with them right? So your solution was to try and charge them for your guys' mistake. NO chance in hell I am letting that happen. I see your previous posts and their experience mimics mine EXACTLY. They described their experience exactly as mine when they complained their item was damaged under your care that you guys were defensive and tried to blame the manufacturer (check Yelp/Google reviews. Let me guess they are liars too? LOL). A competent reputable company would take responsibility for a customers items being damaged under their care but of course you took zero responsibility and immediately pointed fingers at the manufacturer. Not once did you stop to think or investigate that there was a possibility that there was something that went wrong in your own operations. That tells me everything. FIRST BUSINESS I ENCOUNTERED THAT BLAMES THE CUSTOMER FOR THEIR MISTAKE LOL. THEY DID NOTHING WRONG! IT'S MY FAULT AND THE MANUFACUTERS FAULT LOL. read more

Being a customer over a year and thought I found a decent dry clean store. Took many designer clothing there to dry clean and never had an issue. Until i accidentally left cufflinks on the one of my Dior shirt and found them missing after I picked up the shirt. I immediately went to the store in person and spoke to the owner, promised to call back but never did. One of worker claimed that he took it off and put them in a bag to stable onto the hanger? Came in to get a pair of jeans hemmed. 1st issue - they did not alter it with original hem like I asked. Took an additional 4 days including weekends to get the jeans back a second time. Final alteration was subpar at best. No ownership of issues. Needed this for a trip and couldnt take them up on offer to redo it a 3rd time. Not a single apology both times for the inconvenience. Only excuses that no alterations are perfect and that no one would look that closely at their poor craftsmanship. Auvied helped me out initially and he was super helpful and friendly. He let me know how the whole free pickup/ delivery process would go and made it a breeze. Our home in Lomita is their Tuesday/ Friday route so he picked up Tuesday and Douglas (also super friendly and helpful guy) dropped it off on Friday. They provided two bags for me, one for clean and one for dirty. I was also provided a free door hanger (unfortunately for our door it doesn't work since there's not enough space at the top of the doorway for it to close, but it's the thought that counts). All in all, the price was extremely fair - especially with no added fees for the pickup/ delivery. The process was quick and painless. Oh man... Fist time/last time customer. I took the plastic wrap off my two garments and noticed first, the spot I pointed out was still there. Ok. Second, my skirt was hung by safety pins that left holes on the cotton sateen. Thirdly, both my items now have permanent barcode labels hot pressed onto the fabric! One was on the back of the label, the other was pressed into the waistband! I never consented to this type of labeling! When I went in to ask them to remove it, the employee was rude AF, telling me I'm the only one who's ever complained. Said "ALL dry cleaners do this" (that's not true) and they could not remove it without damaging the garment. Are you serious?? You think this is how to do business? BE WARNED!! So I took in my $500+ comforter that was imported from Japan for dry cleaning. It was a little soiled after my dog stepped on her own urine then jumped on the bed. Classic was unsuccessful getting the comforter cleaned by dry cleaning, so without even contacting me or getting my approval, they laundered it causing irreparable damage (shrinking, fading, shifting, lumping). None of this was mentioned when I picked up the item. After returning home and seeing the damage, I reached out to Classic to see what could be done to resolve this issue. After getting a bunch of excuses, Classic was unwilling to do ANYTHING to rectify this situation and wouldn't even acknowledge the damage they caused. Simply put, Classic laundered something that shouldn't have been laundered without receiving my permission first and was unwilling to admit or correct the issue. Since it is clear as day that this was Classic's fault and responsibility, I will be taking them to small claims court. But it is truly unfortunate that this simple issue couldn't be resolved more amicably. read more

I am disappointed in Classic Cleaners and will not be returning. I have taken shirts here to be cleaned and pressed a few times and did not have any issues, but after this last trip, I don't want to deal with this business anymore. I took about eight shirts in; the majority were men's, but two were women's. However, they were all the classic collared, button-down style. I told him they were all just "shirts" and instead of talking to me about them or asking more, he just rang up the receipt and handed it to me. I was a bit skeptical on how he was going to charge me, so I looked at the receipt and saw that he was charging me for six blouses and two shirts ("blouses" are more expensive than "shirts"). I asked him why he did that and he said the "blouses" have to be ironed by hand. I told him I have brought these exact shirts here before and that was not the case; I did not need them hand-ironed. He insisted that I was wrong, that they would not fit on their machine, and he acted annoyed. I took my clothes back and left. I wonder if my husband brought the shirts if he would be charged for "blouses." read more

If I could give them negative stars, I would. They are cheats, liars, ruin your clothes and are just overall horrible people. One of the worst experiences I've had with a service provider. I dropped off 4 very expensive jackets to be cleaned. None of them had visible stains on the front when they were left. Upon pick up, 2 of the jackets had very visible stains on the front, that looked like grease stains. They tried recleaning them and could not get them out. They were not only unapologetic, but they someone blamed me as stains can "come out in the dry cleaning process"?! They not only charged me for the full dry cleaning amount (hundreds of dollars) but were combative and I was told they have no "stain policy". Then when I disputed the charge with AMEX, they send AMEX letters blatantly lying about what had happened. UNBELIEVABLE. So I guess if you want to bring them perfectly good clothes to ruin, pay for the pleasure and then somehow have them tell you it's your fault, then this is your cleaner. Otherwise I'd highly recommend finding one of the many other cleaners in the area. read more

If you like mistakes and bad attitudes this is the place for you. I brought in a pair of $150 pants to get hemmed into shorts. Owner and I (looks like middle eastern Ben Kingsley) discussed what I wanted: a long pair of shorts. What I received was basically denim underwear. I went in to talk to him about it. He told me it was all my fault and there was nothing he would do to fix it. He said it's not fair that my communication error would cost him or his seamstress money. We literally stood there and pinned the shorts to the length I wanted. I've never heard of a business owner blaming a customer for their error. Also owner said that posting on yelp won't affect his amazing 35 year business. Way to bully a customer. I like vintage clothing. I took a beautiful vintage blouse to Classic Cleaners for dry cleaning. I picked it up a couple of days later and took it home. When I removed the plastic I was aghast! There was a 2" hole right in the front. I went back down there and said "WTF?" He said he didn't appreciate my language. I couldn't believe he took my payment and sent me home with a blouse with a 2" hole in it, making no mention of it. He took no responsibility for the damage. He refunded my payment and said things like that can happen. Be warned if you take something beautiful in for cleaning. There's no recourse.
