The front desk lady told me the receipt said 3 pm so I had to pick up after 3 pm, the alteration piece was there for more than 1 week, she didn't even bother to ask the tailor and told me to go back later. DO NOT GET ALTERATIONS HERE! I had a very terrible experience with alterations here, I should have went to a place specifically for alterations (not cleaners), because the owner Debbie ultimately ruined my dress that I requested to be altered. I bought a dress but the shoulders/arms area was too big/baggy and the overall length of the sleeves were too long. I asked if she could fix this by bringing in the shoulders area. I came in tried the dress on, and after looking at it she said it could be fixed. Then when I came to pick up the dress, I asked if I could try it on first but she said no because even if there needs to be adjustments, she wouldn't be able to do it before the day I planned to wear it. But she reassured me that it was fixed very well and if I want it adjusted after, I can come back to have it adjusted. But to my disappointment, I tried on the dress and I could barely notice a difference! The shoulder/arms area was still so big/baggy/long I almost felt like nothing was done. I had to use a safety clip to try to make it smaller on the day of my event. After, I went back and told her I needed it adjusted because everything was still so big! She then told me that it actually couldn't be fixed. I was very upset because if she just told me that in the very beginning, I could've just returned the dress and never got it altered. Then feeling hopeless with a dress I could no longer return, I asked then if she could just shorten the sleeve lengths because it's still very long but I wanted to keep the original sleeve on the bottom because it had a nice flare to it. She said it could be done and that she will shorten it from the top to keep the bottoms of the sleeves the same. Then AGAIN, I come back to pick up the dress and to my utter disappointment, the entire bottoms of the sleeves were cut off! The flare I liked so much was gone when I specifically asked to keep them as it was! Then she started to be apologetic and said she wasn't the one who did the alterations and that she has no idea why the alteration lady didn't do what she told her. SO then it made much more sense... Debbie isn't even the one doing the actual alterations! Yet she's the one doing all the assessments and telling customers what can or can't be done, when in reality she isn't even the one doing it! The person doing the actual alterations needs to be the one doing the assessment! I was so upset and disappointed with my entire nightmare of an experience here. I asked for a full refund which she then said she couldn't give me because she pays the alteration lady too much and can't give me a refund (wow... great excuse) but that she will give me a store credit for cleaning. The only reason I gave this place 2 stars is because she gave me store credit, but I will never come here again. Go to Yvonne's Alterations for any alterations!!! The lady is an expert, skilled, very affordable pricing, and always does exactly what she says! I've been taking my alterations there and so far I have been very happy with all the results. read more

Came to this cleaners for the first time last week. I brought in a 2 piece suit and 2 button ups. Total came out to $22 dollars which was reasonable for a 2 day turnaround. I feel so comfortable with my neighborhood businesses. Sushi, coffee, barber... they know me, I say hi, and it's just a pleasure to do business with them. And if you want to look good, a good dry cleaner is on that short list of favorite local places. When we moved here, I visited 3 cleaners. The first tried to talk me out of dry cleaning, saying laundry was cheaper. Goodbye! The second tried to talk me out of starch in my shirts. Idiot. The third was the family owned business at Walteria Cleaners. "Yes sir, oh indeed a starched shirt is crisp and neat! Excellent choice, sir!" I agree! They are so smart. I needed to get some clothes dry cleaned for my brother, and I had no idea where to go because I never get my clothes dry cleaned so I asked around and two of my friends recommended this place so I decided to give this place a try. It's a tiny shop located right next to the pizza shop and starbucks. Theres tons of parking spots in front of the shop since it's in a big plaza. Walked in and was greeted right away by an asian lady. I also asked if she could fix a hole in one of my brothers pants and she said it was not a problem. When I got the pants back, I couldn't even tell where the hole was! She did such a great job with it. I'm glad I asked her or my brother would've just thrown them out. read more

Terrible service do not come for alterations or cleaning the women at the front barely speak English and try to run up the prices. They use an excuse there the best but there clearly not. Came back a week after I dropped off my clothes and they still weren't ready. No explanation as to why. So last week I come in and one of my shirts in my order is missing. once again they have no answer as to why it's not there or ready. Terrible impression as a first time customer. With the amount of money they charge for cleaning they should have someone who speaks English and actually clean and get back clothes at the time they said they would have them ready by. Debbie is super awesome and they did a wonderful job trying to salvage about 20 of my husbands pre-covid work wardrobe shirts/pants. She really did an awesome job and I do think her price is reasonable for the care and work she puts in. I'm not one to argue for like $2 as some of these previous reviewers do. Seriously.... She puts a lot work into the garment and if there is shit on it from our on own negligence thats our bad. She tells us up front that she will try and that the stain is not guaranteed to come out. Sometimes she says she can get it out and she does. But for some of our bad ones, we already know its a loss cause. Its took less than a week for the 20-30 pieces we did. Unfortunately cannot give a good review. Customer service and professionalism from Owner Debbie is not good. It was my second time bringing clothes as a new customer and realized two spots on two pants. When I brought it to the owners attention, she was very defensive saying they are the best in town and their machines are better than other cleaners and they are top rated. However, she said she will try to re do to get the spot out as she is not sure what caused it because her machines and processing is top notch. I explained to her that these are not new pants and they have been dry cleaned before but no other cleaners made those spots appear. I dropped them back off to her and she proceeded to fix. Never called me to tell me they were done or any update. Instead I had to keep calling to find out the status. She agreed to refund me the amount of the pants. When I I picked them up .. about 85% of the spot was gone.. but still not like it was before she started. She wasn't there the day I picked them up (she's only there once or twice a week for some reason) ... so when I picked them up I figured I'll just take them how they are and get my refund from her when she is back next week. Before coming back in to discuss refund or drop off more clothes .. I had to keep calling to find out when she'll be there because I wanted to know from her .. if she had maybe discovered what had caused the spotting so that if I bring more clothes, that can be avoided. When I finally spoke to her over the phone (after a week or two leaving messages with her staff with no reply and call back) she explained that she still doesn't believe they are at fault and proceeded to blame the pants, saying the pants must have damaged on their own or bled out that way..I explained yet again that she is the first cleaners that made the pants react that way... several other dry cleaning occasions from other cleaners in the past did not cause that to occur. ... however, she assured me that if I brought clothes again and gave them a second chance, she will make sure they are handled carefully. Long story short.. I though about it more and realized I would rather not use her services (because her attitude and the damage she caused to my clothes) and asked her if I could be refunded what she originally promised me for the two damaged pants. She refused and said since I am not using her services anymore she will not be refunding me because she wanted to do it as a discount on next service. I then said why can't you just give me the refund amount as you stated initially? .... she refused. ... Side note: Her prices are also extremely high... compared to other cleaners. She says it's because they are such top quality than other cleaners, but little does she realize no other cleaners that I have gone to ever created spots like that on two separate pair of pants and then reacted like she did when brought to her attention. If it were one pants... I could maybe halfway believe her excuse that the pants bled out and did it themselves, but the fact that it happened on two different pants.. that sounds less likely to be the case. I will never be using her again and definitely do not recommend. The fact that she was defensive and chose to go back and forth with me about refunding the cost of dry cleaning/damaging two pants instead of just refunding the amount paid says a lot about her professionalism, attitude and customer service. read more

Walteria Cleaners did such an incredible job on my wedding dress! I came in with a sample dress, so it had been touched and tried on a lot. It was extremely delicate with a lot of lace and small pearls and beading on it. They completely transformed it, and even sewed on the pearls to make them tighter.
