I finally checked Yelp and found Santos with his good reviews. He came out quickly, gave a fair estimate, said he could do it the next day. He arrived a little late with his truck and small crew but went right to work and did the whole job in just 3 hours. I had expected a lot of chainsaw noise but they did a lot of cutting with handsaws, using the power tools mostly to cut up and grind the wood. Very impressive work and a great personality. Friendly and straightforward and very professional.

My cameras caught them blowing everything from the street into my yard, they also caught them slicing off branch wood rounds and throwing them from the trees at ground crew running into my yard and driveway. So they were having fun on the ground. I get it. What I dont get is leaving it all over my property and not cleaning up. They moved 9 cans of my cans for trash pickup back in my yard and also didn't put them back. Yes I called them at 5:46 after getting home and assessing everything and it warranted a call as it was alot of clean up left for me. The manager was to send the crew back out in 20 mins, even admitted they shouldn't of did that. I also tried to get the owner on the phone and the manager said he's too busy, he handles the crews. I waited, no show. I called again at 7:13pm to follow up. He said im on another call I'll call you in 2 mins. I again waited till 8:10. Now im getting vm. So I left a message telling him I am now going to approach the neighbors if they dont come out in the morning and clean up their trash they blew and threw into my yard. And I will blast them on social media and review sites. No show. So I talked to both neighbors who are going to call and complain as well about them doing this to me. They left several large chunks of trunk (2 1/2 feet by 4' long) and said their saw chain broke but "don't worry they'll be back". They are still there. The biggest. most damaging problem is that instead of removing the fallen tree, they dumped a huge pile of trunk sections down an embankment at the rear of my property, then hid them with leafy branches. Joe took 3 weeks to return my call, and 2 months to come out and look at the problem. When he came out he said he didn't know what to do, but he'd call a guy. He came out with the guy, but they've never been back. He got sick. He got hurt. He was in rehab. Now, Joe does not seem to have a physical address where he can be reached, as my lawyer has tried. Because the property owner doesn't live at the affected house, they traveled from another part of the city and rearranged their schedule specifically to meet the estimator. We also learned that the neighboring property we initially believed the tree had fallen from is vacant, making it even more important to determine responsibility and move the process forward. Unfortunately, no one arrived for the scheduled appointment, and there was no phone call, text, or Yelp message to let us know they were running late or needed to reschedule. We understand that delays and emergencies happen, but a simple courtesy message would have been appreciated. The lack of communication wasted people's time and delayed addressing a situation affecting multiple properties. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend a company that confirms an appointment and then fails to show up or communicate with the customer.
