At first, I was a bit hesitant with my child's bilingual challenges but they were able to combat any challenges with communication either by having me present or with little communication they were able to get by because they care. The school in general has improved in a positive way and staff is friendly outside of instructors. There are lockers for males, females, and family. Upstairs you will find four individual pools with instructors teaching different levels. On the main floor you will find a section for infants to play, screens for your child to watch tv if they are not in class, and a screen to watch your child via monitor incase you'd prefer they are not nervous and can focus without the parents/guardians presence. You have to find the instructor that can work for your child's needs. If they move up a level you then have to see if the same instructor can accommodate your schedule being that if your child moves up a level that means you need to find what times and days that instructor is teaching. The good thing is that staff does their best to accommodate your child's since a child/parent may prefer one instructor over another.

My son IEP has nothing do with his behavior.. my sons attended the camp on July 3. It was my son first time at camp and he had a bad headache which he informed the counselor and she didn't do anything. They never called to imform me of how he was feeling. They completely neglected my child. They are under staffed and don't answer there phones. I'm filing a law suit for discrimination. My advice don't send your child .

We have been sending our son for swim lessons at Swim Tank since he turned 1 (he is now 3 years…read moreold). We absolutely love the facility, the staff and the progress our son has made these past 2 years in the water. We are so pleased with his confidence - he swims without a bubble or inflatable assistance for most of the class. He knows how to safely get in and out of the water/pool, which for us is just as important (if not, even more so) as the swimming itself. He is so happy to go to swim class - the 30 minutes just flies by. Even during these difficult times with COVID still very much a concern (we have an infant as well and are particularly mindful of our exposure outside our bubble) we feel comfortable with all of the precautions taken by the facility to ensure the safety of the students and staff. Pros: - staff is attentive - ownership is responsive - facility is clean and the learning environment is comfortable (the water is warm and the temperature in the pool area is balmy - I've heard of other facilities with less comfortable settings) - weekend and evening slots available (though priority goes to children all ready enrolled in the program) when we enrolled two years ago we had to take a weekday spot as it was all that was available given we were new to the program. - communication is clear as are the instructions for enrollment and attendance - makeup offerings and notice to cancel are more than fair (I've read other reviews for Swim Tank of parents complaining about the make up policy. Just know that the policies that are in-place allow for the program to run smoothly as possible and designed to be fair to the business operator and client/customer) - enrollment/coordination for sibling swim lessons is taken into consideration (though I don't have first hand experience as I've not yet gone through this process myself) - class size is small - pre-COVID the infant classes were 4max (to 1 teacher) and parent participation was required though in the years we've been at Swim Tank there have only been a few classes with 4 children in attendance - more often than not it was 3 (now with COVID only private lessons are available) - Swim Tank has a unique teaching style and first and foremost is safety first - which above all is the most important skill. Cons: - particularly now with COVID spots for weekends are limited (as of the date of this review only private and semi private lessons (maybe?) are being offered) - while I fully believe the costs are very fair for the level of service being provided, the tuition may be cost prohibitive for some I strongly recommend Swim Tank if you want your child to learn the important skill of knowing how to swim in a safe environment that fosters confidence in the water. PS. My brother-in-law was enrolled in another program. His son was 4 at the time. It was cheaper and the classes were a little larger. There was an incident that made him question the safety of the program, additionally the instructor sometimes allowed the children to sit on noodles during the entire lesson (not really learning a swimming skill?!?). Loved this swim school for my 3y old…read more He naturally likes swimming but Daniella made it even more pleasant by being so sweet and caring. She is a star! Clean pool, clean showers. Kids do like it there and parents too. We were there on Sundays. A little tough during the lunch time since the kid wanted to have his nap, but after 30 min of swimming we would take him straight home for a nice 3hour nap.

At the beginning the introduced him to the water, getting his face wet and blowing bubbles. In just a couple of weeks he was swimming about 5 to 10 strokes withoit a float. In no time he was swimming on his own. By the time summer camp came around he was swimming. This year he is now swimming under water and diving down 12 feet in our home pool retreiving toys. This program turned him into a great swimmer. We are now working on perfecting strokes and treading water so he can easily pass the deep water test at camp. Tara who runs the NJ program is great. Knows how to place the kids appropriately for their age and abilities. Group size is never more than 1 instructor to 4 kids but in all the time we have been going it has been closer to a one on one relationship. The instructors are professional and have ways with even the most distracted child. They also offer one in one sessions for students with special needs. Money well spent!

It's split between single lanes and a wider section for open swim during scheduled times. Lessons and classes are offered during the day for babies up through seniors. This can impact open swim so it's best to check out times available. Information can be found on their website and Facebook page. They have various membership options and also allow drop ins for $10 a day per adult. There are locker rooms and a family changing room. There are bleachers and chairs for observers and a cute outdoor pool deck area when it's warm. The staff has always been polite when we go and are willing to answer questions about lessons and other things. There are weekend events such as family swim party and BBQs. Overall a nice place to go and swim for a bit without a huge cost to be a guest.
