Best Rueben sandwiches ever!!! Potato salad excellent too. Service is great! Friendly, attentive, all the attributes that a customer wants in an intimate family- like restaurant. We ate here in early June and had breakfast then . Breakfast was excellent too. Eggs were perfectly prepared. I had my egg poached and my husband had his over medium. The bacon was prepared perfect also. Crisp but not overcooked. This is usually a bone of contention with us, as bacon many times is served undercooked or overcooked. The waffles were great too . Just the perfect crispness outside and the perfect amount of done on the inside. We are looking forward to our next trip to Goldie's. read more

Accurate rating would be 3.5/5 4 star service 3 star food If not for the nice waitress, I wouldn't eat here. It's as expensive as First Watch and half as good tasting. The peanut butter and very sweet strawberry toppings they give you with your peanut butter pancakes makes it unique, but I was worried the pancakes were undercooked because of the doughy, dense consistency. Food is very uninspired and literal. I like the very casual atmosphere but the food was dreary. The cooks are doing the least. read more

We were on a recent vacation to Naples, FL and stayed at the Naples Grande, we tried grabbing their breakfast to go one morning and it was extremely expensive. So we hit Yelp up..... Goldies had excellent reviews so we headed out there. It's kind of tucked away off the main road in an area that is almost industrial, like where most of the businesses that have service companies are located. It didn't look like much from outside, in a small strip of businesses with a parking lot in front. The restaurant isn't very big inside either, but it's nicely decorated and clean. Very busy little place. We had such an excellent fairly priced breakfast the first day that we went back several more times during our visit. This is a great little breakfast stop. We noticed during our stops there that we saw ambulance workers, police and the sheriff stop there for breakfast too. Always look where the locals go! read more

Anyone working as a server in Naples should visit Goldie's to learn how it's done right. These servers were ON IT. We were seated quickly, served our food in record time, and checked on by at least 3 different servers, multiple times. Coffee never got cold. All condiments, straws, seasonings, etc. were on the table. Quite different from most restaurants where you have to ask for everything and may or may not get and the server only starts acting friendly when they leave the check and want a tip. read more

Old school diner meets great food and friendly staff. Went here for lunch this week with some colleagues and we all left full and happy. I personally had a Cobb salad which was a lovely generous portion and using fresh produce and toppings. The other entrees looks delicious as well. My husband and I were on vacation in Naples and stumbled upon this terrific restaurant for brunch. The food and service was excellent. They have a very expansive menu that includes breakfast and lunch items. There is a little construction going on out front, but it's not an issue. It's important to support this mom and pop restaurant especially during a time when construction nearby is taking place. Can't wait to go back to Goldie's when we are back in Naples. read more

Extremely disappointing experience :( The pancakes were like rubber, probably some of the worst pancakes I've ever had. Even using the knife they were very difficult to cut. I've heard everyone rave about the pancakes so I was really bummed to try them. The strawberry topping was extremely sweet but the peanut butter was tasty. I made it through one pancake and left the other two. The portion of egg whites was very small, probably 4 bites. My bacon came out undercooked and soft so I sent it back. Everyone was friendly and the wait wasn't bad. The second star is strictly based on service because everyone was so nice and the food came out so fast. read more

Enjoying breakfast today at one of my favorite breakfast/lunch spots and decided to venture out and try something new. I'm a sucker for Patty Melts and somehow overlooked this in the past on the menu. Maybe it's because I'm always order the Ribeye Steak Sandwich that's just heavenly and hardly look at the entire menu offering. But, today was different and when I noticed it, I had to have it. I ordered the Midwest Patty Melt that comes with a 1/2 lb burger served on a grilled sourdough bread with melted Swiss cheese, Thousand Island & grilled onions. The bread was nice and crispy on the outside and cooked perfectly. The burger tasted great and blended well with the other ingredients while the Thousand Island dressing added the perfect acidity to cut through the rich flavors. I mean it's one of those places that from the outside you would go it looks just kind of like a regular greasy spoon. And when you walk inside it kind of has that same vibe. But let me tell you, this place is legit comfort food, No Holds Barred. I had their chicken fried steak and scrambled eggs, and let me tell you I consider myself somewhat of an Aficionado of chicken fried steak, and this place is in my top 5 of best chicken fried steak I've ever had. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and best of all, they passed the Dan Ledbetter "please bring me my milk with breakfast" test with flying colors. The place is clean, the wait staff is incredibly friendly and fun. And the prices will not break your wallet. Honestly, I wish I lived closer to this place as I would stop there at least two or three times a week. The bottom line? My last trip to Naples I tried stopping by but of course they were closed. Goldies, why are you closed on a Sunday? That is prime diner money-making time! Oh well. I finally made it! And mylanta was this place great. First- it's small so I can see why there is typically a wait. Fortunately we were able to get a table without waiting, the hostess cleared it off and gave us menus. This is a diner, but wow the menu is large. What to get? Diner breakfast is always bomb but somewhat predictable. I opted for lunch and got a chicken salad with bacon club and a side of fries. The sandwich was enormous. Like more than a mouthful. The chicken salad was fresh and taste great. The fries were warm and has a nice better to them. Everything was delicious. I cannot stress this enough. I think my meal with a drink cost $10 and I was utterly stuffed. Of course I finished my meal- I couldn't waste that meal. Was too good to leave behind. Also to be noted is that the employees here hustle. Great service. Amazing food. I see why Yelpers just love this place. read more
